17/11/2024: Recommended to us by the host of our B&B in Barisciano. Never has a suggestion been more apt. Fast service, very friendly and professional staff. We enjoyed perhaps the best pizza to date: we have never eaten a better leavened and digestible dough than their pizzas. Well seasoned, tasty and tasty. Prices more than honest. The desserts are excellent (berry cheesecake and tiramisu). The addition of almonds to the tiramisu cream is particular. Should (as we hope) we return to the area it will certainly be a stage worth repeating.

08/12/2024: Not up to the previous times. Charred pizza, I point out to the waiter that the pizza is inedible, he asks me if he has to make it again? I reply that it wasn't even to be presented to the table... the drink comes after the pizzas... then nothing else, no one takes away the dirty dishes and much less do they ask if we would like anything else... it's a shame we always ate good pizzas and were treated better... not even a word when paying the bill: sorry for the mix-up (which can also happen) Best regards

05/01/2025: We only ate at this place. The hut looks like a typical mountain structure with the Scanno ski resort next to it (unfortunately not in operation for a few years). The interior is warm and welcoming, the friendly staff puts you at ease. Really good dishes. You can eat pizza (but we opted for a menu of local dishes).

17/01/2025: I was at the Birreria Gran Sasso the other evening with some friends. Truly an ideal place to eat quality kebabs in company and listen to good music. I really enjoyed the live music and the friendly, welcoming staff! We'll be back soon thanks guys

17/01/2025: Beautiful and well-kept place, impeccable room service, excellent beers and properly poured, there were 2 of us, we started with an appetizer of wings and supplì, both arrived quickly and very good, continued with a pizza and a calzone, both with times and cooking times perfect, all with an excellent quality-price ratio. I highly recommend

19/11/2024: I think I simply ate the best pasta dish of my life. Spectacular miller in the Ventricina style, with top quality products. A very welcome peculiarity: the menus indicate all the local origins of the products, which are, obviously, first choice. Plus super generous portions from starter to dessert. Chapeau!

12/12/2024: When booking we were told that there would be gluten-free options, this was mentioned at the beginning of dinner, but during the first hour many appetizers with gluten were served and the group of people who could not eat it were ignored until he protested and a sad little plate of charcuterie was brought. Even on the pizza, they had guaranteed the possibility of ordering gluten-free, but instead only a small frozen margherita was available and people intolerant to lactose or tomato who would have wanted a normal gluten-free focaccia had to order a second course of meat with frozen fries. The kebabs that arrived were not well cooked and were hard to chew. Otherwise the environment is pleasant and the wait staff polite.
