16/11/2025: My favorite restaurant in Rocca di Cambio, we've become regulars here, and we always go there. The owners are super friendly, and the food is truly delicious!

30/08/2025: At this restaurant, you can savor traditional Abruzzo cuisine in a slightly more refined and sophisticated atmosphere than other local restaurants. Their game appetizer, featuring top-quality cured meats, is definitely worth trying. It's plentiful and paired with a "cooked" antipasto featuring a variety of delicious dishes. The first courses were generous, especially the fettuccine with creamy porcini mushrooms and fresh truffle. However, the roe deer-filled ravioli was a bit thick and tough, and the chopped tomatoes on top didn't really add much to the dish. They also offer a wide selection of meat-based main courses, but we preferred the first courses. A wide and interesting selection of desserts, including the truly superb amarena brittle. The girls who served us were knowledgeable, kind, and above all, quick!! We'll definitely be back one evening to try their pizza, which looks delicious.

07/11/2025: Rossella keeps her promise! I've been wanting to try this restaurant in Tufo, near Carsoli, for at least two years. It's changed the face of Abruzzo's restaurant scene. Despite being open for several years, I only recently heard about it, and every time I called, there were no seats. For a while, they managed to keep it a "secret," but then, little by little, word spread, and word of mouth spread the word about these immense, outsized, and exceptional ravioli. We managed to get there on a Monday in October for lunch, and in addition to the famous ravioli, we also tried a fresh pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and truffles, the memory of which still delights me. The French fries are REAL, enough to light a candle to the Madonna. The service is prompt; sure, you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is worth it. The prices are more than fair, and that's a bonus! My only complaint, a matter of personal preference, is that the tomato sauce is a bit too smooth; I prefer a more rustic, full-bodied texture. However, this in no way detracts from the satisfaction of eating at Rossella's. Lunch also included the spectacle of watching the food being eaten at the tables around us. Good heavens, I've rarely seen people manage to gorge on such quantities of food. It felt like we were back in the fabulous '70s. My compliments to this wonderful business, carried out with passion and undoubtedly a lot of hard work! Thank you

02/12/2025: I'm thrilled to share my experience at La Giara Art, a Neapolitan pizzeria in Gallipoli that's a true paradise for pizza lovers! The dough is handmade daily, leavened for at least 24 hours, and the flour used is type 1, derived from locally grown wheat. *The Food* The pizzas are true works of art, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried the special pizza, and it was a real treat! The appetizers and main courses are also excellent, with dishes like the sliced ​​beef with pistachios and stracciatella. *The Service* The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend the perfect dish. 02/10/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, after visiting the beautiful village of Pacentro. It was Sunday, so there were a lot of tourists, but we were able to find a table between the two of us. Excellent food and friendly, attentive staff, in a traditional, refined setting.

23/09/2025: We had dinner for two at this cute place. The burgers and fries were excellent, the fried pizzas were delicious, and the dessert was delicious too. The staff and young owner were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I recommend it.

26/10/2025: We had a pizza made with whole grain flour. When it arrived, it was immediately undercooked, probably because the oven was too hot, which meant it cooked too quickly. As a result, both my wife and I struggled to eat it, and it was also indigestible. The restaurant and service, however, were good. Too bad...

02/11/2025: Had lunch today, November 2, leaving the restaurant at 2:41 PM with a friend of mine. We ordered a "Majellerie of cured meats, cheeses, and hot dishes," an appetizer similar to this, adequate. We moved on to the first courses: Cazzarelli with mutton alla callara, not bad, ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella stracciata with truffle, awful. Filled with what wasn't buffalo mozzarella but clearly fiordilatte melted at 110 degrees Celsius, soaked in oil and truffle from the tin. I complain to the same waitress who recommended them, but she doesn't do anything and justifies herself by saying, "That's what it says on the tin." Totally embarrassed. I move on to the comment about the oil soak, where she apologizes with a half-smile and leaves. Another young woman comes back and asks if everything was okay. I answer clearly no, only to be met with a laugh and then disappear. I get up to end this terrible experience and head to the register to pay, where I find the same waitress laughing in my face again, without even offering an apology, not so much for her behavior, which in itself deserved dismissal, but for the crap they served me. I've never left a review for a restaurant in my life; this is the first time I've done so and the last time I'll be there. They could have avoided this simply by behaving better; if a customer complains about a dish they don't like, whether you agree or not, you have to take it away, but above all, you shouldn't laugh in their face. An experience to forget.

14/11/2025: I’ve been to Il Vecchio Muro several times and it never disappoints. Service is fast, professional and if they’re not too busy, your meal will be ready in minutes. Love the outdoor sitting in the summertime. I usually come for dinner. Reservations recommended during high season.

19/10/2025: Small, family-run restaurant. A few dishes, but very good. Prices are slightly high but acceptable. They might be a bit of a problem if you have a dog and it's not very quiet.

19/10/2025: We discovered La Foce during a stroll through the heart of Scanno, and immediately felt at home. We tried the cazzellitti con le fuoja (a type of pasta) and the sagnette con i fagioli (a type of pasta with beans): extraordinary dishes, prepared with such care and love that you can taste in every bite. Everything is homemade and cooked to order, a true culinary experience! The atmosphere is warm and familiar, the owners were extremely kind and welcomed us with great warmth. It's clear that a tradition is being carried on here with passion and dedication. We were delighted and can't wait to return. A must-see for anyone visiting Scanno who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine.
