24/02/2026: We didn't use the hotel, only the restaurant, which served good/excellent quality food (some typical Abruzzo dishes). The service was good, as was the cleanliness. Prices were reasonable. We should return to try the pizza.

01/02/2026: Disappointment. We had a reservation, but no table. Let me explain. We called the pizzeria to ask if a table for three was available, and they gave us 9:30/9:35 PM. We showed up promptly at the time indicated, but the table wasn't available because it was still occupied by previous customers, and we were asked to wait outside. After waiting in the cold for over 15 minutes, with no updates or clear timing, we went back to inquire and were simply told to wait a little longer. Only later did a young woman inform us that the customers were enjoying dessert, offering us prosecco in the meantime. A gesture that, while appreciated, doesn't make up for the sloppy management of availability. It's fair to point out that the customers present had every right to remain seated without time restrictions. For this very reason, however, indicating availability without the actual possibility of meeting it seems unprofessional. In the end, we decided to leave and went to another restaurant, where we were greeted with greater organization and attention. Communication and time management are part of the service: in this case, they were insufficient. --------- Hi Davide, thanks for your reply, although the tone you chose says much more than my review. I'd like to clarify a few points, because the reconstruction you offer doesn't match what actually happened. The reservation was for 9:30/35 PM (just as I wrote above): we were left out in the cold for over 10 minutes, without any communication, until we returned to ask for updates. This isn't "less than 5 minutes late," it's sloppy management. Calling my review "frustration" is a convenient way to avoid taking responsibility. And no: you don't need to sit down to evaluate a service that starts with respecting the reservation. Reviews are the story of an experience, and ours was simply negative! Using your employees (whose work I've never questioned) as an emotional shield doesn't make your response more professional. Next time, instead of attributing emotions to the customer they don't feel, perhaps it would be more helpful to acknowledge what happened and improve communication. This is what distinguishes professional management from a knee-jerk reaction.

21/02/2026: I'm recounting the rather unusual experience the other evening. Four of us went to this restaurant and were greeted warmly. After ordering, they informed us that the walnuts in the "Pizza d'Uomo" had run out and had to be replaced with almonds, but so far, nothing unusual. Along with the pizza and the girls' first course, my friend and I ordered the complete antipasto from the old station, as I hadn't been to L'Aquila for several years and wanted to try the cured meats from L'Aquila again. The rest was more of a side dish. Several minutes after the platter and soup arrived, I asked why the cured meats hadn't arrived yet. The younger girl told me to wait, as she would go and ask. When she returned, she pointed out that there was prosciutto... and I pointed out that Norcia prosciutto is already mentioned in the appetizer. She then said that on the menu they carry typical, seasonal products, not necessarily cured meats, claiming they weren't mentioned. I'm attaching a screenshot of the menu, which I also showed to the young lady. She replied that they're currently "updating the menu and experimenting with alternatives using seasonal products." Now, the breaded pumpkin (despite the fact that none of us ate it) doesn't seem like it's from February to me, and it doesn't seem on par with the cured meat from L'Aquila. Sometimes, it would be enough to apologize and clarify the misunderstanding, trying to remedy the situation without making up excuses and making us look like picky eaters. Given the festive occasion, I didn't want to continue the debate, but know that if something is listed on the menu (which still costs €26), you can't leave it out because you've decided to try new things that evening; customers aren't guinea pigs. Unfortunately, the skewers weren't any better: they were too thick and stringy, clearly overcooked, and the meat was brought to the stone in its entirety, so a kilo of meat needed to be eaten quickly along with the skewers because it continued to cook. The last pieces were burnt and dry. I've never seen anything like it. The meat is served rare, and then the customer decides when and how to reheat it, and whether they want to cook it more on the stone. Salt was also missing, but we couldn't ask for it because unfortunately, no one was coming by, and we had to eat quickly because it would either burn or get cold. A first course, a pizza, an appetizer, 10 arrosticini, a rib-eye steak, and two rosé wines cost €210. Not bad for the price, but it's a shame about the quality and the insufficiency of the ingredients, which were in short supply. I definitely won't be returning, and I don't recommend it. I'd advise you to only list what you have on hand on the menu and change the way you serve the meat.

15/12/2025: Takeaway pizzeria with a few tables for dine-in. Located on the main road on the border between Pescara and Montesilvano. Spectacular round pan pizzas, just the way I like them: thin and crispy, with a variety of toppings to suit all tastes. Delicious fried croquettes, and especially supplì and arancini in a variety of flavors that are every bit as good as Sicilian ones. I discovered it, and now it's become my favorite pizzeria. Reservations are recommended during peak hours.
