19/11/2023: We stopped for an aperitif, we had 2 glasses of local red which was really very good. Special praise to the girl who took special care when she saw that we were with our little girls. The inside of the bar is also very nice, not to mention that it is located in a perfect area of the center of Domodossola. Well done, keep it up
28/10/2023: Top place, top limoncello spritz, top service! Also because they prepare and you have to bring the stuff to the table yourself.
In the middle of the market square of Domodossola,
spending half an hour at the outdoor table in this iconic and historic square is a real pleasure and the smile of the cashier and barman is already worth the (very low) price
if you pass through Domodossola you can't miss it. We'll be back! 🤩

08/12/2023: We had lunch with friends ordering potatoes with different toppings, we waited a bit but it was worth it! The potato stuffed with venison ragout leaves you speechless, but the one with gorgonzola, sausage and radicchio is no joke either! The staff is smiling and very kind, the environment is clean and welcoming! Highly recommended! Even for those who, like me, eat gluten free

25/03/2024: I pre-ordered a pizza for take-away via the chat function because I had a 40 min stopover from a train journey. Worked very well, the restaurant had the pizza ready at the exact time I had ordered it (18:20). I liked the pizza and service a lot. Would come here again.
23/03/2024: Very nice atmosphere, nice and very fast service. Delicious pizza made from high-quality products. I highly recommend it, I will definitely come back.

So-so food, normal, nothing special, maybe the Ossola gnocchi a little heavy with a very tasty sauce, perhaps with raw Vigezzo? Baked kid on the grease and...
However, what leads me to give only one star is the service. In the table next to ours the second shift was re-set without changing the tablecloth, one of the waitresses then played with a dog belonging to some customers and continued to serve without problems, the same hands that serve the tables are also used in the shop next door and on the tobacconist's cash register (of course I imagine it's not easy to manage everything together) and finally... I found a piece of transparent film in the aubergine parmigiana... I'm sorry but I'm bad.
21/03/2024: I returned after a bad experience and I must say that Paola the waitress and not only made us forget all the negative things we found before...we will only return if served and welcomed by her thank you very much...

They also organize interesting events

09/01/2024: The facility is agee, to say the least.
My room was very large but furnished with rather old-fashioned pieces. As I passed, I saw other much smaller but more modern rooms; I assume the result of recent renovations. The shower carpet is missing in the bathroom, I hope due to simple forgetfulness. We went during the time of the markets but the road in front was being renovated so we couldn't use the parking in front (€15/day) which was actually necessary given the central location; the hotel is also very convenient for those arriving by train.
Reading the other comments on the breakfast I was taken aback: I don't know if it was due to the high season but we found a more than abundant and varied breakfast, of excellent quality and served by attentive and friendly staff.

20/03/2024: Good restaurant in Domodossola where you can enjoy both meat and fish menus and... pizza, don't expect excellent refinement and the prices are a little expensive compared to the quality offered... but everything is justified by the proximity to the Swiss border and therefore both the food and the prices are calibrated for that clientele... final judgment more than sufficient
