The place is very nice and really welcoming, you immediately feel at home, plus the welcome and kindness of those who work there is impeccable. It immediately became an obligatory stop to make if you come to Pinerolo.

08/12/2024: Excellent experience in this place in the historic center of Pinerolo. We had lunch with a meat and fish tasting menu, fair portions well presented and served, the bread and pressed breadsticks were also excellent. I also recommend it for the friendliness of the owner.

08/12/2024: 4 of us had dinner. Nothing to criticize about the service of the girl in the dining room, decent food, very good tuna. We took 4 fish tasting menus, small portions, you can finish them easily. Consumed 2 bottles of wine, bitters, 44 euros each. The only negative note and not of little importance: at the end of the dinner at 11.30 pm, the chef enters the room and with elegance (his) invites us to leave the restaurant with an unfortunate statement "we too have a house"; we had simply and politely said that we were getting up... There is a way to say things, we are adults and we would have understood. Result, a dinner that left a bitter taste in our mouths. 4 stars become 3, it's a real shame!

29/04/2024: Quando un piatto appaga l’occhio… la conquista del palato non è scontata! Alla Trattoria Zappatori le promesse della vista vengono mantenute: prodotti di alta qualità e sapori decisi ed equilibrati. Il servizio è di buon livello, attento e presente, unica pecca i tempi di attesa piuttosto lunghi (ma é la prima volta che sono loro ospite potrebbe essere stata una combinazione). Location molto bella e curata. Abbiamo scelto i piatti del menù degustazione 1975, la tradizione, ottima l’interpretazione del vitello tonnato e dei ravioli del plin, veramente super! Ci ritorneremo, presto!

18/06/2024: We went to this restaurant and immediately felt at home. Hospitality of times gone by. Mauro's cuisine is genuine and manages to give incredible flavors to even the simplest dishes which, once on the table, become true culinary jewels. The service provided by Pachi is always punctual and fun. The paella is a spectacle, but if you want it, remember to book it in advance. We will definitely return to River Side. I sincerely hope that sooner or later I can taste their Pizza which is not served at the moment...
