26/07/2025: My first pizza at Al Forno, in 2023, was an exciting discovery: original recipes, excellent ingredients, and excellent flavor. I've recommended it to many since. In 2025, however, after three visits, the experience changed: increasingly sparse pizzas, with few ingredients scattered over an often dry base, especially with keto dough. Their slogan is "Forget the usual pizza"—a mission accomplished, but perhaps not in the intended sense. The quality of the ingredients remains, but it's difficult to appreciate when the quantity is so limited, especially given the rather expensive prices. It's a shame, because the staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the idea of alternative doughs is interesting. I hope they soon return to their former generosity.

21/06/2025: A lunch that tastes of poetry, between Italy and Portugal. I returned to Italy for only a few days, a short but intense visit to the family, and as often happens in these cases, I let memories and nostalgia guide my palate. I have lived in Portugal for many years, a land that I feel is my adopted home, and like a true Portuguese I have developed an absolute passion for seafood, for fish cooked with skill, in all its fascinating variations. Entering the restaurant "La Mimosa", in the heart of Pinerolo, I was not simply looking for a meal, but an experience: a place where I felt welcomed, surprised, listened to. And so it was. The environment struck me for its sober elegance, made of careful details, intelligently dosed lights, harmonies of colors that immediately create a feeling of well-being. The service lived up to the highest expectations: attentive, kind, never intrusive. But what made the lunch special most of all was the attentive and passionate presence of the owner, always available to enthusiastically illustrate the composition of each dish, recommending with grace and expertise the perfect wine to pair. And there, in the heart of an inviting menu, I found my personal challenge: cod. I ordered it almost with a sort of ritual, as if throwing down a gauntlet. And I can say it without hesitation: it passed the test with full merit. Perfect cooking, full flavor, balanced, rich in memory and inventiveness. A dish worthy of any comparison, capable of fulfilling the expectations of a demanding connoisseur like me. The rest of the courses? A crescendo of elegance and taste. The plating was a real treat for the eyes, the food exquisite, described with grace and expertise by the “premier maître de salle”, as if each dish were a little poem to be recited in a whisper. The wine, excellent. And when I thought perfection had already been achieved, an unexpected and very welcome gift from the house arrived: a sensational tray of cream puffs served generously before the desserts, as a sweet prelude to the conclusion of an unforgettable lunch. It is not often that you feel that every element - from the welcome to the dish, from the kind voice of the staff to the intelligence of the wine choices - speaks the same language: that of passion. Here, everything was harmony, taste and warmth. Thank you so much. I will be back.

27/07/2025: Prima volta in questo agriturismo con amici che erano già stati ho mangiato bene e sono uscito pieno e soddisfatto, menu interessante cibo di ottima qualità fritto misto piemontese da senza parole! Vino della casa ottimo e personale gentile e preparato, ci torneremo e lo consiglio vivamente.

18/05/2025: We ended up there by chance, I have to say that we felt at home, very good and very kind people, it's a shame we are Ligurian, if it were here we would be regular customers, the pizza and the pancakes with Nutella are special, what can I say? Well done, keep it up 👍

30/06/2025: Let's start by saying that it's a nice place, that the staff is kind and very helpful (I even managed to change the composition of a dish 😀), that the service is fast enough, that the food is really good and well-prepared and that, finally, the cost is very honest. For an appetizer, two first courses, two desserts, a quarter of wine and two bottles of water: €45. What more could you ask for? Well done.

18/05/2025: a Saturday in May for lunch, few people, sober but very kind welcome, simple and essential environment, perhaps a little too much... excellent veal with tuna sauce, tajarin with ragu too, too few, we would have eaten double... very good rabbit... fair prices...

14/03/2025: nice location with nice vibes, I highly recommend going there for lunch/dinner and tasting the meatballs from this meatball shop, they are exceptional. I had a pasta with sauce with beef meatballs and was blown away by how good they were. Afterwards I shared an avocado toast which was pan-fried salmon and egg. I have to say really excellent. Welcoming and friendly waitresses/bartenders and we didn't even wait that long. Also a great place to have a drink with friends as they have a great choice of alcohol and especially gin.
