06/04/2026: Non-existent welcome. Too long. We ordered a pinsa and it arrived with a hair on it. We pointed this out to the waitress, who without a word took the plate back and left. Luckily, they brought us another one. When we pointed this out to the owner, she didn't even bother to apologize. Instead, she responded rudely without apologizing or even expressing regret. I don't recommend it and I definitely won't be returning.
23/03/2026: Always a pleasure to eat here. The atmosphere is great, the food is good, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly.

28/02/2026: Lunch on Thursday with friends, excellent service with a young, smiling, pleasant young man from '99, well-informed both in the wine selection (excellent cellar) and the food. The local owner was also courteous and sweet, comfortable, good value for money. I recommend it!!!

21/12/2025: Dinner at this restaurant. Excellent food, beautifully presented. High prices... which might even be justified if the service were up to par. Instead: terrible service, I'd say nonexistent. Young waiters wander among the tables without noticing empty bottles or people calling out to them. If you ask for something they don't know (and that's normal), they disappear and you never see anyone again. We had to go straight to the counter to get an amaro. The comments from the tables around us about the service were the same... a real shame, because the place is beautiful and the food is good, but I wouldn't return given the value for money, considering all the variables. A small error during service, which was promptly resolved by a kind waitress!

12/01/2026: My girlfriend and I went in with the intention of eating a first course and a second course and also some side dishes, but fortunately we only stopped at the first course, both first courses were inedible, the lasagna was packaged and still not cold but frozen, and the tortellini completely dry and plasticky, a place not to be visited again and absolutely not to be eaten there, I don't see the point of putting so many services and many dishes if you can't even do one basic thing well.

We discovered this pizzeria in Mercurago (above Arona) by chance and were pleasantly surprised.
A huge selection of pizzas, excellent quality, and affordable prices.
The staff is very friendly and knows how to take care of their customers.
We'll definitely be back!
22/12/2025: I called for information on takeaway pizza. The response was very rude and too vain, which forced me to ask. To sum up, the lady who answered was very very rude, above all.

07/03/2026: A truly beautiful venue located in a stunning area of Arona's historic center. Tables in the middle of the square offer a full view of Lake Maggiore. The young and friendly staff brought us perhaps the best non-alcoholic drink we've ever had, dry and spicy, accompanied by a platter of cured meats and other excellent appetizers. A warm, sunny day also helped, allowing us to spend a wonderful time with family in this beautiful place.
02/03/2026: The idea of having aperitivo in a bubble is great! Let's just say they got off to a bad start because they didn't have my reservation when I arrived, but overall we had a good aperitivo.
The drinks menu is a bit limited, but the accompanying appetizers are good (although charging an extra €2 per person seems excessive, given that the prices aren't already low).

22/02/2026: 16 euros for 2 spritz half glasses obviously, together we asked for 2 platters and they brought 1 after 1 hour and a half! We specified that there were 2 another half-hour wait and nothing! After 2 hours we left. All for the modest sum of 28 euros! At the cashier the guy wanted to charge us for 2 platters, when I complained he justified himself by saying that the waiter was young (minimum 30 years old) and couldn't write 2 instead of 1! Pitiful! I obviously don't recommend it

16/03/2026: During a pleasure trip to Arona, I chose this pizzeria for a pizza, and I chose well! My pizza was simply exquisite! Very well cooked, nicely filled, and delicious! The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the prices were very good. I'll be back.
12/03/2026: Excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere. Impeccable service and a varied menu with diverse options ranging from a tasty pizza to an elaborate seafood dish.
A place to be visited and enjoyed every time you pass through Arona. In my opinion, one of the best addresses for good Italian cuisine.

22/12/2025: A quick Baylies on the rocks, which was a mistake, since the bartender was also wearing a jacket and scarf. The bathroom... I won't say anything, it's better. It's true that it was almost 11 PM, but after a stroll through downtown Arona, so an hour later, it was still open and crowded. It was Saturday night. The friendly bartender? I don't know why he just said 9 euros (with receipt).

09/03/2026: Yesterday afternoon outing with friends we stopped for a drink, 2 skecherati coffees coffee and ice terrible result, my partner takes a spritz and asks if it is possible to have some snacks, answer I can't bring anything if you want we have crisps in the bags, maybe it's NOT your job... I definitely won't go back there again
06/03/2026: Don't drink coffee with milk on the terrace! It's a cover charge! 4.00 Euros! It seems to be the general rule here too 😲

25/02/2026: The La Pecora Nera bar in Arona is a truly delightful spot for an aperitivo, offering space suitable for both a couple and larger groups of 6 or 7. A definite plus is the outdoor terrace: it's well-sheltered, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors even if the weather isn't great or if it's a bit windy.
The menu is varied, ranging from a good selection of cocktails to hot drinks, covering just about every need. However, there are a couple of aspects that could be improved. Prices are a bit above average, especially when compared to what's actually served during the aperitivo.
Additionally, a detail that can be quite inconvenient is the inability to keep separate bills. For larger groups, this policy becomes a small inconvenience, as it forces friends to split the cash or make instant bank transfers, creating an inconvenience that could easily be avoided. Overall it's a nice place, but you have to go there knowing how the payment process works.
16/02/2026: A really nice and welcoming pub with live music (I went on a Sunday). Prices are absolutely reasonable, and the aperitifs are excellent. I recommend it, especially to young people.

07/01/2026: The cappuccino was practically dirty water and the pastry was I don't know how old and hard, they must have changed management because months ago it wasn't like this... too bad.
18/12/2025: I don't know if management has changed. Yesterday I had a terrible experience. I asked for a cappuccino and a croissant. I sat right in front of the counter. I don't know how the girl spilled all the milk overflowing onto the counter floor. I thought she was going to change my cup, but without a second thought, she went to the sink, cleaned the cup with a sink rag, and then put it on the tray. I was upset and was overly polite. I tasted it, and it spilled over the rim. It was a latte macchiato with just a little coffee, obviously, because if you put in the equivalent of two cappuccinos' worth of milk in a cappuccino, it's normal for it to be cold and have little coffee. I politely asked her if she could remake my cappuccino, because if I'd wanted a latte and coffee, I would have asked. I explained that it was cold, and I was polite enough not to mention the disgusting sink I saw. She responded rudely throughout. Result: I told her to keep the cappuccino, paid for the croissant, and left. Learn to live in the world and do the minimum amount of work that's required of you. I pay for a cappuccino, I demand a cappuccino, and a clean one at that.
