15/02/2025: Ordinato con Just eat. Pesce orata con patate per importo di 14 euro. Contenuto? Una mini vaschetta di alluminio con due patate piccole e un pesce??? Vogliamo parlare che neanche si vedeva tanta la quantità?? E voi fate pagare questo 14 euro??? Per non parlare del fatto che se si ordina con Just eat di norma si allegano le posate!! Tovaglioli inesistenti, posate di plastica o carta inesistenti. Delusa al massimo.

20/02/2025: We went here for lunch. Inn in the center and overlooking the lake. Quiet, well-kept and quite spacious environment. We opted for the 2-course menu: warm seafood salad (well... it tasted of little) and tagliolini with anchovies (delicious and tasty at the right level). Well done!

04/02/2025: Ristorante vecchio stile e ben curato che si trova all’inizio del borgo di Arona. Ci viene proposta una carta generale ed una del giorno, con un menu interessante e a buon prezzo. Peschiamo da questo menu varie scelte di terra, che si rivelano azzeccate ed eseguite a dovere. Un tagliere ben curato, degli ottimi gnocchi allo speck, polenta concia validissima e una discreta tagliata . Anche con il vino, caffè e grappa, spesa molto onesta e servizio gentile e veloce a pranzo. Consigliato!

03/11/2024: I give 2 stars only for the wonderful view of the lake and the fortress of Angera, and for the courtesy of the staff. Given that I limit myself to evaluating what I tasted, I must say that I have rarely eaten such a poor first course and starter. We opted to try "local porcini" (as stated on the menu). In such a restaurant you are sure to land on your feet. The appetizer, polenta and porcini mushrooms, a riot of brine mixed with mushrooms that completely covered the flavor of the porcini mushrooms. Pointing this out to the waiter, who kindly asked us "how was it?", we expected that there wouldn't be the same sauce on the tagliolini... We were wrong. Tagliolini covered in a very salty mushroom sauce. A great shame, the outdoor area of ​​the place deserves a lot. We left without even having coffee due to disappointment. Alas, we won't be returning.

02/03/2025: We went this Sunday for the antiques market in Arona. We had already been there 5/6 years ago and found it to have significantly worsened in terms of the quality of the food. The pizza is a little rubbery and inedible. Poor seasoning for the asking price. The pizza was with squid and it arrived with 4 number rings. Without flavor and with a dry sauce. I don't think they'll ever see us again. It's a shame because the guys at the tables are really nice and kind. Leave the pizza chef at home!
