Even before paying at the checkout, the POS is set and you are told "no" in a rude way while you are about to pay with cash (which is still money). In addition to the quality of the food, what matters is the service and courtesy.

02/10/2023: Onestamente non posso giudicare i prodotti venduti e/o serviti in questo locale ma non ci andrei assolutamente e non lo consiglierei Mi è capitato domenica 1 ottobre 2023 in occasione del mercatino del piccolo antiquariato di assistere al pessimo comportamento del proprietario del locale! Persona maleducata, irrispettosa ed aggressiva !! Una vergogna Consiglierei un bel corso di educazione oltre a quello di gestore Paola

07/04/2024: My experience was negative, the landlord was not very kind in the way he responded to our request. So after ordering we preferred to get up and leave without consuming.

05/04/2024: We went the week before Easter, the weather wasn't the best. We still sat outside and at a certain point it started to drizzle The staff managed to manage the situation in an instant by opening large umbrellas and we finished our lunch. I must say, however, that having frequented the place for several years we had the impression that the portions have been significantly reduced.

06/04/2024: Long wait for a bottle of wine (25min) only to receive a different bottle than the one ordered. We ordered a platter of Norcia crudo which were thick cut, like steaks. With just one fork when we were more people. Furthermore, the aperitif rule should be changed, because if I take a bottle something should arrive (without looking at the time, which is then half an hour plus half an hour less). Practically non-existent service, I had to ask the same thing several times from multiple waiters. Mine is a constructive criticism.

17/03/2024: Unacceptable service, rude staff We had to wait to order and after almost 2 hours the order still hadn't arrived. I've never had a situation like this happen to me. I don't recommend it.

01/10/2023: Amaranto caffè ha chiuso l'attività. Al suo posto c'è il Bar Centrale che offre ottime colazioni e fantastici aperitivi. Il personale è molto cortese e professionale. Consigliato

09/08/2023: Diverse volte con famiglia abbiamo deciso di consumare uno spuntino presso questo locale, devo dire che il personale e' sempre stato cortese, prezzi in media vista anche la posizione sul lungo lago versante interno, reparto pasticceria ben curato, tavoli esterni coperti, parcheggio a pagamento su strada. Consiglio la permanenza per un veloce pranzo o aperitivo.

02/04/2024: I recently booked at the Il Barcaiolo restaurant in Arona for an aperitif with family and friends, and I must say that I had a really good time. The price of €16 per person for everything on offer is perfect. Drinks are extra, but the price is fair. The restaurant, located in the center of Arona, is beautiful, with walls adorned with vintage photos. There is also a large selection of gins available. Six people, with aperitif, desserts, a drink each and two bottles of wine, spent €200. I had a good time and highly recommend this place, especially for the location, the friendliness and kindness of the waiters.

31/03/2024: Nice atmosphere and very kind service. Good and well cooked dishes. The meat is the open kitchen just as the open kitchen is the kitchen itself. The risottos are excellent, the Nebbiolo one with fondue, those alone are already worth an excellent rating. The mixed cold cuts starter is also good.

Non posso che fare i complimenti a tutti, sia alla cucina per i piatti davvero curati e gustosi, sia al personale di sala per il servizio impeccabile. I camerieri con la loro gentilezza e i loro sorrisi hanno davvero reso piacevole l'esperienza. Un plauso anche per il servizio del vino. Davvero congratulazioni, tornerò sicuramente

15/11/2023: Ci fermiamo per il pranzo, il menù ci attira,e ci lasciamo guidare dalle "voglie" siamo più che soddisfatti, due antipasti veramente buoni, una tartare condita benissimo ed un uovo pochè con pomodoro , salsa di pecorino e pane carasau Passiamo ai primi piatti, prendo il risotto con zucca, ottimo. Gli spaghettoni casu e pepe, 🔝super..carta dei vini eccellente. Prodotti ottimi di qualità cucinati benissimo, servizio accurato, prezzi corretti. Sicuramente da consigliare

06/04/2024: Dirty and old mussels, frozen rubbery mixed fried food accompanied by already frozen battered vegetables from discount stores... you can make fun of tourists but not people who really know about food. Never again
