The Fassona beef tartare was special!!! And all the appetizers were delicious.

14/10/2025: Went for lunch of 4 people. Total of 78 euros. Food was average. Service was quick and efficient. It was after 15:00 so not many places were open...
We had a lasagna which was good, a cheeseburger which was good, a seafood rice which was average and another pesto lasagna which was average minus...
01/10/2025: A nice little restaurant if you’d like good food with a view, especially so if you dine by the lake. I came here as I was staying in an apartment upstairs which by the way is lovely and ideal for a solo traveller or couple.
The staff at Fruch were efficient and friendly and the pizza I had was delicious!

09/04/2026: I went for the first time with friends and i found it very tasty. Food is extremely generous and prices are ok. Not a big expert of chinese restaurants but the taste reminded me the true chinese dishes i had in China. Totally recommended.
28/03/2026: The restaurant is very welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly. The only downside is that they don't bring the full menu with all the courses ordered at once; they bring one dish first, then the other. It would be better if they brought everything together, excluding appetizers, which can be brought first. However, if you order two main courses, they bring one first and the other about 10 minutes later. Also, the waitresses should serve the dishes to each customer, instead of handing them out randomly.

11/03/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful, in my opinion, with a very pleasant interior and a view of the lake. I've been a few times, and it's always without the crowds typical of other bars in Arona. Good service. As for the food, the platters are very good. I'm not giving it five stars only because the portions you get are shamefully small: they're literally two bites per person, with practically nothing to eat (but the price is equivalent to a full platter). Recommended for an aperitif, no more.

22/02/2026: I had a marinara pizza without garlic and with whole wheat dough, €9.50! When I asked why it was so expensive, I was told that the whole wheat dough cost €2 and the basil €1.50!! After I even had the garlic removed, and on the receipt it was marked as margherita, which costs more and not marinara, never again. They can rip off tourists, but not the people who live here who know what it means to eat pizza around here. I always get a pizza with tomato sauce, whole wheat dough and basil, €7 maximum, at every pizzeria, the most expensive ones. Pure madness, €9.50, never happened to me. Now I understand why the place is almost empty.

05/04/2026: I could have eaten badly, because the 5-star rating was deserved for the welcome, the attention to our table, and the impeccable service. But we also ate really well. We ordered the sandwiches from the menu (but they don't just make sandwiches), which were delicious in terms of the cooking method and the quality of the ingredients (not typical fast food). Even one of us, a celiac, was able to eat and stuff ourselves without feeling like a burden, enjoying everything from appetizers to dessert, as they also offered gluten-free options and, above all, the quality. The fries were unique; I've never tasted so good. But I want to reiterate that the difference is made by the management of the place, by the people—and I repeat, "people"—who make you appreciate the pleasure of eating out. Thank you.

23/11/2025: A nice place, found by chance, quite close to the Arona lakeside promenade. The appetizers were good and plentiful. The polenta round was also good, although compared to the various toppings, the polenta was a bit small (one deep dish for four people, while there were four or five plates of toppings). Overall, not a bad experience. The price was reasonable. The only negative was the slightly low temperature inside the restaurant.

06/04/2026: We had lunch at Osteria del Triass today (Easter Monday), so I can understand the long wait and the almost nonexistent service. What really disappointed me, however, was the bill...unfortunately, almost all the dishes were increased by €1.50 compared to the prices on the menu. Since we were with friends, we only checked the receipt on the way home. We're sorry for this disappointment, given the crowd of people there. Sometimes people prefer to lose face for an extra €10. If it wasn't intentional, I advise the owner to carefully study the prices.
