10/01/2025: Very nice and clean place, it feels like entering a private home, the very kind and friendly owner is the Queen of the house. The cuisine is classic Piedmontese, obviously including the classic Carrù boiled meat. The prices are slightly high but given the quality of the raw materials they are correct. The even more beautiful note is that he gave me the opportunity to stop and sleep in his garden with the camper, so I could taste his excellent wine. I will definitely be back!

22/12/2024: An apparently simple but very refined place, sober but welcoming and with attention to every detail, recently renovated. Upstairs small two-room B&B. Vaulted ceilings and very accurate details, from the cupboards to the bathroom to the decorative furniture. Small creative, elegant touches, placed in an only apparently random way. Professional, competent and extremely courteous staff. Table service with attention to the smallest details. Presentation of dishes with refined touches. Very courteous chef and very willing to exchange opinions, questions, explanations and mutual anecdotes. We had a more than pleasant chat for over an hour. Truly remarkable Nebbiolo wine. Superfine foods, from tasty to delicate ones, the boiled menu is abundant with a choice of 6 different sauces, each with a very pleasant flavour. Food all sourced from neighboring areas. From the first courses, to the second courses with side dishes, to the dessert: a feast for the palate. Structure immersed in an almost bucolic context despite the cold season. Outdoor tables with an inviting and pleasant air for an experience of quiet serenity. An experience absolutely to be repeated with extreme satisfaction.

18/12/2024: You go to Carrù to eat boiled beef, and in this restaurant it is excellent, served with delicious sauces and spicy mustard. Even though it was Tuesday, we made a reservation and the place was fully booked. Impeccable service, high quality wine and typical Piedmontese desserts. Possible to pay with Satispay and with POS.

07/01/2025: Finally modern is back! Looks like he's back! The good Fabrizio has refreshed the place and brought his excellent cuisine to Carrù. Exquisite tasting menu, good choice of wines and excellent à la carte dishes. Cozy, bright and clean room. Delicious dishes and the inevitable trolley of mixed boiled meat with sauces. To try and try again because every 15 days the dishes on the menu change. Highly recommended for a romantic or evening with friends and also for Sunday lunch. Not to mention the fish, masterfully cooked by chef Fabrizio with excellent raw materials.

07/01/2025: From the way they talk about it, I expected a lot more. Even though we had advised that there was a vegetarian at our table, and were told that there were no problems, there were problems instead. The starters were brought to everyone except him, they arrived after we reminded him 3 times and we had finished all the starter courses. First course ok, second course wasn't even brought without saying anything (we all had the tasting menu). Sorry but NO. Terrible service. For the rest, the roast was quite salty, good agnolotti. Price quite expensive in proportion.

28/12/2024: Restaurant 200m from the Carrù motorway exit, ample parking. Place with several seats, very well looked after with constant references to the Carrù ox. The choice of pre-established or à la carte menus is certainly a winner and among the menus, the traditional one is a dive into full Piedmontese style. Mixed appetizers, Carrucese-style raw meat, agnolotti with roast sauce, obviously the boiled meat and the impeccable desserts. Service not very fast but the place is really big. Clean bathrooms

15/11/2024: Abbiamo visitato 'Il Vesuvio' spinti dalla curiosità e dalle buone recensioni, e non siamo rimasti delusi! La pizza era davvero ottima: perfettamente cotta, con ingredienti di qualità che si percepivano al primo assaggio. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio per tutta la serata. Anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo è assolutamente adeguato alla bontà della pizza. Consigliatissimo!

27/10/2024: I go back every year when I go to truffle in Alba. I have a great time, they are very kind, there is a good choice of cheeses. Both goat and sheep, without taking anything away from the famous tuma of Murazzano. I recommend it.
