01/01/2026: The following refers to the New Year's Eve dinner/event. I'll start by saying that I'm not a huge fan of dinners with music, and although there was a reference to it on the website, I didn't pay enough attention to the overall structure of the event. Let's start with the location, which is simply enchanting: Villa Pomela is a former noble residence, once a cultural center of its time. Splendid rooms with expertly renovated stucco and wood paneling remain, a perfect setting for a festive dinner. Regarding the cuisine, the menu was good, albeit with its ups and downs. Some pairings didn't convince me (the basil liqueur éclair remains a mystery to me), while the saffron rice with Gavi, porcini mushrooms, and hazelnuts was perhaps too strong. Overall, a good dinner, although a little pricey in my opinion. What left me most perplexed was the management of the evening: the talented artist who entertained the guests was singing at a volume that was decidedly too loud. The sound system was inadequate for the setting, and conversation at the table was difficult. Despite reporting the issue and temporarily lowering the volume, the problem recurred. Personal opinion: disco music in a place of this type—and with a clientele predominantly over 50—clashed with the location and the overall experience, appearing inappropriate for the setting. A final positive note for the dining room service: the staff was excellent, discreet, and helpful, and the commitment of the young people (probably students from the Novi hotel school) was also commendable.

16/09/2025: A fantastic, atmospheric place with excellent cuisine and service. It's located in a hotel converted from an old estate and decorated in a classic style. I managed to get in after a day of shopping without an appointment, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening.

14/10/2025: The best ice cream shop in Novi Ligure. It's incomparable to the others in the area. I'm not giving it five stars because they could be more friendly and polite.

21/12/2025: If I have an all-you-can-eat dinner, Yolo is always my first choice. I'm forced to lower my rating due to the menu. Saturday nights used to have an unlimited choice of dishes. The menu has certainly changed over time, but that's no longer the case. This restriction is very annoying because the price doesn't change, but you're subject to the same limitations that used to apply during the week and at lunchtime.

14/10/2025: I discovered it thanks to my friend who invited me. The place is very large, tidy, and clean. The idea of ​​ordering on a tablet with rich illustrations where you tap on the dish and the quantity is a great one. The dishes are very tasty. I had a great time and will be back. I recommend it 👍

12/12/2025: My husband and I have eaten here three times. The first two were great: good food, friendly staff, nothing to complain about. Last week was a little different; the salmon had a strange taste, like the rest of the fish. We paid, left, and he threw up; he was sick all night. I won't be back.

24/12/2025: This country is really under all kinds of criticism. I asked about a shower and a short woman with glasses told me there are no showers in all of Italy. Is that true? Or if there is a shower, the water will be cold or very dirty. I have no words. In Germany and Austria, you pay but you get a normal shower. Unfortunately, I happened to stay in Italy and I was left without a shower.

23/08/2025: We kindly asked if we could sit eight of us outside by pushing two tables together, but the waitress rudely refused, saying it wasn't possible because one table was empty. Speechless and unwilling to work! Never again!

Perfect for breakfast, a quick coffee, or a break. You're always greeted with a smile. Quick and professional service. A must-see in the city center. Highly recommended.

25/11/2025: I just left this super authentic Turkish kebab shop and I only have one thing to say: it was amazing! The kebab sandwich was truly delicious: the bread was incredibly soft, perfectly warm, and the amount of meat… incredibly generous, juicy, and flavorful like you'd rarely find. You can tell they work with care here and follow authentic recipes; nothing is rushed. It's one of the best kebabs I've ever eaten—and definitely among the best in the entire province of Alessandria. If you happen to pass by, stop by: it's worth every bite. 🔥🌯
