30/06/2025: Allora attenzione pessima non dai camarierj ma degli stessi capi,in 4 amiche dopo una giornata di piscina abbiamo deciso di fermarsi x una pizza,il capo sala ho il padrone non so chi era,maleducato con la sua cameriera ,poi con noi ,continuava a rompere xche volevano che a dessero via,non so si era xche eravamo vestite in pantaloncini di piscina,comunque erano le ore 19,o magari perché eravamo straniere,non so ,si chiamarli rasisti,so solo ,che prima ci fai entrare e poi vuoi che andassemo via ,comunque mai più vengo da loro ,anche xche abbiamo stato ben 70 euro no era gratis x qui ,imparate a essere educati

29/06/2025: Today I was at Basiliko with my friends, just back from the pool. The waitress who welcomed us was very kind, she came to the table to take the order when she was interrupted by a man probably the manager of the room - he raised his voice in front of us, telling her to leave everything and wait for him to change, even though he had just arrived after us and did not yet have his uniform. During lunch they continued to come to the table to take away the dishes, even if we had not finished and were still talking. The treatment was not the best: they should improve their professionalism.

06/07/2025: Excellent quality of the first courses thanks to the homemade pasta, sublime tagliolini with truffle and gigli with tastasale. Great courtesy and professionalism of the staff, in particular of the waiter Nicola, kind and welcoming.

30/06/2025: A summer dinner based on fish. All fresh products cooked with care. From spaghetti with clams and bottarga to crab meat risotto to mixed fried food. Very young staff, prepared to explain the dishes, available for every need. Very clean and well-kept place. I will definitely go back

12/07/2025: We went for lunch, and the outdoor seating was nice, breezy, and cool despite it being mid-July. The food, however, left much to be desired. The desserts were good, but the entrees were undercooked and the clams were raw. We left the dish, and they argued a lot about making us pay for it even though we couldn't eat it. The mixed fried fish was very poor, and the service was extremely slow. We won't be returning.

02/07/2025: The food was a bit disappointing for my wife. The meat was too cooked, i.e. dry. Didn't even ask about the doneness when ordering. The views of the lake were ok. The waiters were too busy. It showed in everything. There are better restaurants nearby.

01/07/2025: We went out to dinner yesterday: Spaghetti Vongole for 20 euros with 11 mussel shells and little flavor. Half of the lasagna was returned because it only had béchamel sauce, no meat or tomato sauce. The salad was okay, and so was the spaghetti carbonara; all in all, unfortunately, it was just unsatisfactory for the price. Note for the manager: no waiter even asked if we wanted anything else to drink or dessert, let alone how it tasted! They need a lot of retraining here. Regards from Bavaria

26/06/2025: Der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Gardasee ist gigantisch. Dazu kommen die köstlichen Gerichte, denen man die Qualität der Zutaten ansieht und diese auch rausschmeckt! Die Gnocchi mit Trüffel waren der Hammer! Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen.

26/06/2025: Should be renamed Al Crappo. Starters were mediocre to say the least. Main courses came out. Firstly, pasta with lightly smoked sardines (according to menu). Shouldve said minced up sardines on luke warm plain pasta. Then the pork shanks. First time came out cold ( and I mean cold). Said they would replace with a fresh one. This took so long my wife had finished her main course ages begore it came back out. They didnt replace it (I know this as I put something on the plate beforehand to check that this didnt happen). They just warmed up the exisitng. I politely pointed this out and asked the waiter to remove it and take it off the bill as it was pork (pork should NEVER be reheated!). After some rather intense conversation and an admission on their part that they had indeed reheated it I then had to demand that they take it off the bill. I had made it clear beforehand that we would rightly pay for what we had eaten apart from this item but their reluctense to this was extremely evident. In closing, I would sum it up by saying that the staffs attitude is poor, the food is ridiculously over priced for what it is and you should not have to argue with staff about something which is quite clearly unnacceptable. I apologise for the poor review but I am always honest and unbiased and this simply should simply not be allowed to happen.

15/07/2025: My review would have been different before paying. But after some guests received a limoncello after paying and we didn't, I'm really annoyed. What was wrong with us? We ate and drank and left enough money there. We have to work for our money! The pizza was okay, and the restaurant's location is very nice. However, the staff (especially the head waiter and manager??) seem pretty hectic. We can only agree with other reviewers. We definitely felt stupid after paying. And we definitely won't be back!

13/07/2025: We ordered pizza with salami and Aperol. We liked everything, the pizza is delicious, the service is good. Nearby is a beautiful embankment, lake view.

07/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante abbiamo ordinato die pizze, una con frutti di mare e una calzone, arriva il mio calzone cpn tanto sugo sotto, non mi piace ma avevo fare ho detto da niente, faccio per mangiarla .. il sugo era crudo e non solo, ma freddo/ congelato, lo faccio notare mi rispondono signora non é congelato ma ê da frigo e fresco, io gli ho detto che non la volevo, e me ne hanno portato un altro

27/05/2025: Great restaurant in the main square serving local food, pasta and pizzas. They had specials on and the asparagus risotto was very good.

17/12/2024: Ein tolles Restaurant in direkter Seelage. Riesige Auswahl an Pizza und Pasta. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Die Kinder waren auch ganz begeistert. Preis/Leistung stimmt.

16/10/2024: Update 2024: improved service and food, too bad that next year the temporary closure for works is planned. We will wait for 2026! 2022. Always a nice place but: slowness and distraction of the staff. The dish of a diner had been forgotten, none of the waiters had noticed that it was missing from the table... Dry and burnt pizza, linguine allo scoglio good but a little lacking in pasta. Let's hope it improves and returns to being our ---> 2021: favorite inn on the lake!

01/07/2025: As we enjoyed our meals, rain dripped onto my clothes because there was a hole above me. When it came to paying, we wanted to pay separately, but the waitress still gave us only one bill. Luckily, the meal was worth it, as there was plenty of seafood with the spaghetti.

08/07/2025: We made a reservation for 4 people at 8:00 PM. We arrived on time, but only three tables were occupied. They sat us down, and after 20 minutes they brought us drinks and asked for our orders. After waiting over 60 minutes for four pizzas, we went to the kitchen to complain, and they apologized, saying there were problems with the oven. Despite having asked several times and drank several beers while waiting, no one had notified us. We waited, hoping to at least eat our pizzas. Once served, they were inedible; the dough hadn't risen, and the ingredients were terrible. We left the restaurant, paid for our drinks, and left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO.

08/07/2025: I recently went to dinner at the L’Arina del Sante restaurant, intrigued by the change in management and the new features introduced. The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with a pleasant and well-organized environment, ideal for an evening with friends or an informal dinner. The staff was kind and helpful, ready to explain the dishes and to satisfy every request with courtesy. However, one of the first impressions concerns the menu, which left me a little perplexed: I expected a greater variety in both the first courses and the second courses, especially considering the restaurant setting. The choice in those sections of the menu is rather limited and could be expanded to offer more alternatives to those who do not want a pizza. Having said that, it must be recognized that the pizza menu is instead very rich and varied, with classic and gourmet options, able to satisfy different tastes and preferences. In the end we opted for a seafood appetizer, a mixed fry and baked potatoes. The appetizer was well presented and with fresh raw materials, even if I would have liked some more creative or sophisticated options. The fritto misto was the dish I enjoyed the most: light, crispy and not greasy, with a good variety of fish and generous portions. The baked potatoes, simple but well cooked, accompanied everything in a pleasant way. Overall it was a pleasant dinner, but the restaurant could really make a leap in quality by focusing on a broader and more structured culinary proposal, especially regarding the first and second courses. The potential is there, and I hope that over time the new management will be able to fully enhance it. I will gladly return to also try the pizzas, which seem to be the strong point of the restaurant.
