18/04/2026: I've been coming to La Lanterna for many years. The service is always quick and impeccable. Good pizzas, and the green pepper fillet is excellent. But times change. Last night we ordered a seafood salad with Ascoli olives, buttered spinach, and grilled salmon. Tens of minutes pass, and only the seafood and spinach salad arrives. I ask for the Ascoli olives, but still nothing. I ask again, and they finally arrive, saying they'd lost my order. Meanwhile, I'm getting tired of waiting and losing my appetite for the salmon. I ask, and they tell me they'd lost my order again, this time for the salmon, which I ask them to cancel. I ask for the bill, and what does the waitress do? She brings the bill to my girlfriend instead of me! The service is terrible and makes me lose the desire to eat out. A restaurant in a beautiful location, but it's completely ruined. I recommend trying other restaurants around there; there are plenty.

16/04/2026: I've been getting takeout pizza every week from this restaurant for a couple of years now. In my opinion, it's one of the best in the city center. I've also had the opportunity to eat at the outdoor tables, and the view of the square is beautiful. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and polite. You can tell the owners care deeply about their restaurant, and this is reflected in the staff, who are always impeccable. Recommended for lunch or dinner in the center of Padua!

11/11/2025: - Decent quality food - Food doesn't arrive - They're slow - They completely ignore you - You talk to them and ask them something, and they ignore you: I've asked for teriyaki four times from four different people, and two of them didn't bring it to me, while the other two only brought me one, and I asked for four bowls. If they have limits, just speak up and say, "We can't have more than one bowl," not "Yes, yes," and then show up with just one. - Sometimes the food is cold.

09/11/2025: Terrible experience. We ate lunch with the dinner menu, and after two and a half hours, very few dishes arrived. Staff were short, and dishes were left on the kitchen counter unserved. Everyone at the table complained. Never again!

10/04/2026: A piece of junk, the menu is only on paper and you have to choose as soon as you enter, a gloomy place, there is nothing of what they show you on Facebook, my advice is luckily we ran away immediately.... my rating 0

12/12/2025: Cappuccino and croissants served at your table for €3.40. A welcoming place with comfortable sofas. Very close to Largo Europa. A must-try for an aperitif or lunch.

20/12/2025: I went there for a company dinner and I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the dishes. The service was excellent and fast, despite there being about twenty of us. Nothing to complain about, either; it was more than fair considering what we ate.

29/10/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner on Valentine's Day. They had a fixed eight-course fish menu for €60. The portions were small, but adding them all together, I wasn't left hungry. I found everything delicious, and the service was attentive and courteous. Overall, I recommend this place.

10/03/2026: Varied breakfasts for every taste and origin, a clean and fragrant environment with attention to detail. The staff is brilliant, elegant, attentive, and welcoming. Since December, I've been staying at the hotel once a month. At the restaurant, I've tried the sports menu and the all-you-can-eat menu. Superlative, refined, and unexpected food. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially for those just passing through for a quick getaway.

06/07/2025: Bad experience, ... there were four of us for lunch, I called saying we'd be there in 10 minutes at 2:05 PM (on the internet they say closing at 3:00 PM) and everything was fine. I got there and it was already closed ... obviously they don't need to work...

11/06/2025: The summer garden is excellent, the food impeccable, from pizza to meat and fish, and the staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back.

05/04/2026: Despite the change of management, the parking lot remains terrible, with animals that you can imagine. It's also an ugly sight. We decided to go elsewhere.

15/03/2026: A restaurant with a distinctly 1980s feel, focusing on seafood. The creamed cod and the "bollito di mare" appetizer are delicious. These simple dishes are plated simply and without frills, yet very authentic. The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality/price ratio is absolutely excellent.

13/03/2026: I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I went with my boyfriend. The dining room smelled of fish. The kitchen door was probably open, and all the odors were coming out. If I were to base my judgment on quantity and value, I'd give it one star. They probably weren't prepared for us. The menu doesn't include side dishes, so the only vegetables were a bagged salad with no dressing, accompanied by polenta made at the last minute, which was very runny and had an unpleasant flavor. We ate bread and oil, which was certainly plentiful.

30/06/2025: Sabato 28/06 sono stata qui a cena con il mio gruppo di amiche. Location carina, pizza deliziosa, ingredienti di ottima qualità ma, purtroppo, servizio raccapricciante. Già al momento delle ordinazioni siamo rimaniamo perplesse: più che in un ristorante elegante sembrava di essere al mercato del pesce. Subito dopo ci siamo alzate per goderci il tramonto sul lago ma, a quanto pare, non avremmo dovuto: al rientro siamo state rimproverate dal personale "che poi non vi lamentiate che la pizza era fredda!". Preciso, non eravamo un gruppo di ragazzine ma donne adulte, quindi la ramanzina anche no. In quell'esatto momento la mia amica intollerante al pomodoro si accorge che nella sua pizza lo avevano messo nonostante nel menù fosse" bianca". Lo segnala alla cameriera che però prima di scusarsi controlla chi ha ragione consultando il menù, per poi inveire contro i colleghi pizzaioli davanti a noi. Come se non bastasse, al nostro tavolo si sono aggiunte le mosche che a causa delle finestre e porte spalancate continuavamo ad entrare, insieme all'alfa. Per concludere, ci hanno portato via i piatti in fretta e furia senza quasi lasciarci il tempo di finire. Diciamo che è un peccato perché, ripeto, pizza e location meritano ma il servizio non invita certamente a tornare.
