14/05/2025: We went for lunch, ate a great appetizer and a good spaghetti with clams. If I really had to find a fault the spaghetti was a bit dry but the clams, fantastic. I will definitely go back.

21/05/2025: Scegliamo sempre volentieri il Fornello, in coppia o per pranzi di famiglia sentendoci a casa, accolti da una cordialità autentica. Questa volta abbiamo assaporato asparagi freschi e frutti di mare in abbinamento a gnocchi di giusta consistenza e sapidità. Molto equilibrio nei sapori garantisce piacevolezza in ogni assaggio. 01/05/2025: Locale molto carino e ottimo cibo. Abbiamo provato tordelli, lasagnetta al cinghiale e tagliata con patate. Tutto molto buono! Possibilità di parcheggiare vicino alla struttura. Necessario prenotare perché non è grandissimo.

10/05/2025: I had read the reviews. I tasted an exceptional first course with prawn and pistachio dressing. Fabulous. I "fished" the ravioli with scallops and burrata from another plate... divine. Then a very light fried dish that you could tell had been cooked in new oil that hadn't been burned for centuries. Truly an exceptional experience. They offer various formulas that satisfy everyone. The bill was fair, in fact, not at all expensive. I met two sisters with a beautiful smile. Final vote? For people who prefer tasteful simplicity over fake places... 10/10. Nice to see that there are still young people getting involved. Excellent with praise.

02/05/2025: Siamo andati in coppia venerdì a pranzo. Menù fisso a 13 euro dal lunedì al venerdì a pranzo con primo, secondo, contorno, acqua vino e caffè. Cosa chiedere di più? Personale gentilissimo, pietanze squisite e super abbondanti. Assolutamente da tornare. Bravi, bravi, bravissimi!

18/05/2025: We happened to walk past it. We were on our way to another restaurant. Luckily, we stopped here. The food was fantastic. Very good quality. The owner was very friendly. I think we were the only non-Italians there. Excellent.

14/05/2025: My mother has been telling me to come and eat here for a long time, she has always heard great things about it. Today we came here, nice place, friendly staff but the famous seafood carbonara disappointed us a lot; the pepper is very noticeable, too much cream (it's a boulder) and despite everything the spaghetti with the fish were not very well blended. I am amazed by all the people who recommend eating carbonara here, I think in 70% of the places they make it better

08/05/2025: I always return to this historic restaurant in the picturesque Via San Giorgio in Lucca. Varied but not dispersive menu. Authentic dishes, made with love. Especially the first ones. Spaghetti with special clams; I also recommend tortelli lucchesi, tomino, bruschetta. Incredible meat tartare and fillet. Last Saturday, at lunch, we were surprised by the generous portions (a rarity in Lucca these days) and the honest prices. Friendly and competent staff. The owners know how to welcome and take care of customers and are always ready to advise with a smile, but also with great discretion and education.

23/05/2025: Beau restaurant au service impeccable, les prix ne sont finalement pas tellement plus cher qu’ailleurs, le repas fut délicieux et les petits à côté offerts ont été appréciés. Une belle surprise, nous y retournerons !

24/05/2025: Cultural staple. You can’t go to Salerno without having one of their brioches (medium size, which has a strip of custard on top) with any of their gelato flavors. Recommend the nocciotella. And don’t forget the panna!

23/03/2025: Sono stata ieri sera, tutto molto buono, e finalmente un ristorante per noi intolleranti al lattosio! Menù molto chiaro, prodotti senza lattosio o naturalmente senza lattosio. Camerieri molto gentili e preparati. Bravi continuate così!

01/04/2025: Un 10 tanto en la comida como en el servicio. Cuando vuelva a Lucca repetiré. Inmejorables los Tordelloni y los tagliatelli con ragú de mare así como los con alcachofas. Los milhojas de frutas del bosque y el apple pie soberbios!!!

05/03/2025: Siamo venuti a cena per il nostro anniversario e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza e cura con cui tutto il personale ti accoglie. Il locale è ben curato, intimo e caloroso, la cucina stupisce con la semplicità degli ingredienti sapientemente cucinati. E Katia (Spero di aver scritto bene il tuo nome) la cameriera che ci ha seguiti, è stata incredibile. Vi ringrazio ancora tutti per la serata che ci avete regalato, bravissimi!
