07/10/2025: A restaurant in the heart of Viareggio, with a predominantly meat-based menu, although there's a small selection of fish. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with a wide selection of wines displayed on the walls and an open kitchen. We dined in the cellar for a birthday party and it was a wonderful experience. We started with a selection of excellent appetizers, then continued with the highlight, a delicious Chianina steak and melt-in-the-mouth pork ribs cooked in beer. The wine list is excellent, with a focus on Tuscan wines, and we were able to choose from a variety of labels. Everything was perfect, and the price was perfectly in line with what we ate and drank. Highly recommended.

05/10/2025: We were lucky to get a table for dinner on our last night in town. The food was very well cooked, well presented, delicious and with the outstanding service and great atmosphere, we would highly recommend a visit. If steak is your thing, Amaro Braciera is your place.

18/10/2025: I chose the restaurant both because it has a Satispay agreement (so I can use company meal vouchers) and because of the good reviews I'd read online. We ordered an appetizer and two main courses: a duck and a fillet of meagre with samphire and potatoes (€28 for the fillet with samphire alone). After a few minutes, what I believe to be the owner returns to the table to inform us that the duck is unavailable—a shortcoming that, given the restaurant's "standards," should have been disclosed when ordering. The wait for our dishes is quite long: at least 30 minutes. When they finally arrive, we discover that one of them is incomplete. We're told, "Our apologies, but the samphire is out"—so one of the dish's three main ingredients is simply removed, without any warning or alternative offer. To my surprised reaction, the owner responds with a rather unfortunate question: "Do you even know what samphire is?" —I still wonder what that sentence meant. Result: a €28 dish reduced to a fillet of sea bass with three slices of potatoes. The icing on the cake: when I got the bill, I tried to pay with Satispay, but the owner said, "Well, I don't know if it works, I never use it." Spoiler: Satispay didn't work—or rather, it did work, but the owner wouldn't click "accept," despite me pointing it out several times. In the end: 1. I paid out of pocket. 2. I spent €122.50 for an appetizer, two main courses, a dessert, two glasses of wine (plus two dessert wines), and a coffee. 3. I received rude and inattentive service. 4. No discount or gesture of courtesy, despite the obvious shortcomings. 5. I look at the receipt and realize we paid €6 for a coffee (not even in St. Mark's Square in Venice) and donated 50 cents to an organization unknown to us, without asking us in advance (usually the 50 cents donated are deducted from the profit, not added to the customer's account without a request). The only positive note: the quality of the ingredients and the kindness of the rest of the staff (especially the lady in the dining room, who was truly courteous!). Unfortunately, given this situation, a customer can only leave feeling dissatisfied.

17/10/2025: A wonderful dinner in Lucca's historic center. The best restaurant in the city center... excellent food and impeccable service. The owner was able to accommodate every request! If you haven't stopped by for lunch or dinner, you haven't been to Lucca!

22/09/2025: Located in the first hills behind Capezzano Pianore, just 1.5 km or 2 km from the Sarzanese Provincial Road. However, some road signs to help locate the restaurant wouldn't be a bad idea! As soon as we entered, we were escorted to the back garden/patio, and the setting is truly fantastic. The waiters are elegant in their uniforms. The menu includes both meat and fish, and the dishes are well-prepared and beautifully presented. Everything perfect, then? Almost. A couple of details were a shame: the mushrooms in the tagliatelle ai funghi were frozen, plasticky, and tasteless (a serious problem, considering it was mid-September); when ordering coffee, I unfortunately discovered they had no sweetener, just white sugar (being diabetic, I had to drink it bitter). Finally, the bill: €75 per person for an appetizer, a first course (or second course), dessert, and the cheapest wine on the menu—it's not cheap, though the garden/patio setting justifies the slight price premium.

18/09/2025: A truly excellent seafood restaurant. Every dish we were served was fresh. The aroma of the sea can be felt in every dish. The staff is attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves quality cuisine.

23/08/2025: We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and I have to say he was right. We booked a year in advance, because that's the timing... Everything was truly delicious and tasty; we were able to savor the true flavor of every dish served. The price is standard: €45 per person, including all dishes and wine. We opted for an appetizer, first course, and dessert, without a second course, wine, and coffee, and we still spent €45. I highly recommend it, but go on an empty stomach because you'll eat a lot.

28/08/2025: Excellent place to try seafood. The octopus soup is very good, and the octopus is incredibly tender. The black tagliolini with octopus ragù is also exceptional. I'll definitely be back!

03/10/2025: This restaurant in the hills behind Pietrasanta is an oasis of tranquility. When the weather permits, you can dine in the tastefully decorated and fenced outdoor area in front of the restaurant, which creates a relaxed and romantic atmosphere in the evenings. You can choose between a fish and a meat menu. Among the various dishes, generally good in my experience (I've been there four times), Bruno's lasagnette, served with peeled seafood, deserves a special mention. It's a truly tasty and delicate dish, worth the trip, as a famous guide would say. Another highlight is that all the desserts are homemade. The service is friendly, especially the owner, who is very hospitable, but also attentive to any needs and professional. The wine list is also extensive, and I appreciate the fact that there are even half bottles of good quality available, since my partner doesn't drink wine.

24/08/2025: Garden and Terrace Event. For our son's baptism, a professional evening was the order of the day. In the garden, aperitifs and appetizers (excellent food), perfectly made cocktails (with a measuring cup, so no foaming, but "just right"). The staff was super friendly and harmonious, and everyone really worked hard. The terrace was minimally set with runners and not too "annoying" decorations for dinner... the dinner was beyond sublime, with divine lasagna (most of the guests ordered more than twice) and a classic roast with potatoes 🥔 all truly delicious. Impeccable service. Congratulations to Martina, her dad, and the entire staff at Hotel-restaurant Eco Milano. We'll definitely be back.

01/08/2025: We dined here one afternoon with our family. We received a friendly welcome. The waiter was very helpful and spoke good English. A beautifully presented menu, with a choice of several dishes per course, including both meat and fish. The menu featured some new discoveries. Generous portions and delicious dishes. Wines are available by the glass. Service was very prompt. We had a wonderful time dining under the patio. Highly recommended; we will definitely be back!

04/10/2025: Fantastic local restaurant, run by a husband and wife. Frequented mainly by local Italians. Owner doesn’t speak English but very friendly and we were able to communicate. Wife cooks fantastic Italian seafood dishes and husband runs front of house, serving everyone. Beautifully cooked seafood dishes. Best compliment I can give is; we have been twice already and because it was consistently good we are going back again for lunch today. Highly recommend
