21/02/2026: This is an exceptional restaurant! By far, the best dinner we had during our 2 week Italy road trip. Intimate, friendly restaurant with phenomenal food. Husband and wife team - charming Julia, front of house and friendly chef Gabriel was a winning partnership. The fusion cooking, Italian with Asian influence and heavy seafood bias was very welcome in meat heavy Tuscany! The scallops starter was outstanding - beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Pasta with cuttlefish was simply divine and the sea bass main course was delicious. We really appreciated Julia's wine recommendations, as a sommelier she listened to our preferences and found us a perfect Chianti and gorgeous rosé. This was our favourite dinner in Italy and exceptional value too! Thank you both, we will be back!

21/01/2026: The best restaurant in Lucca, hands down. A classy welcome, they greet you with focaccia and their own olive oil, a culinary journey that perfectly reflects the chef's journey through Asia. At the end of each course, the super-kind waitress asked how we were doing and how we liked the dishes. Speechless. The restaurant is small and very welcoming, with an elegant yet friendly atmosphere. At the end of the evening, the chef came into the dining room, and I couldn't help but congratulate him and ask for the fish soup. SPECTACULAR, PLEASE TRY IT. The price is worth it, and in fact... the only time I think I could say that, I would have paid even more and not complained. I will definitely be back.

28/02/2026: We stayed in December. Everything was fine. Beautiful, elegant place, and not to mention the service, with a 30-euro wine. We spent 2,300 euros.

09/02/2026: Thanks to a last-minute reservation, I was able to have lunch at this trattoria. The food is fresh and imaginatively prepared, so the dishes are delicious and... plentiful. Ten appetizers, two first courses, a fried dish, and portions of sweets and Vin Santo for €45 per person, including wine and drinks, isn't something everyone gets in Viareggio. The staff is smiling and courteous, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's an "old Viareggio" trattoria, with lots of options, lots of tables, and a bit of a squeeze. But it's a worthwhile place. I'd gladly return, too bad there's a waiting list of over a year!

09/03/2026: Elegant restaurant with elaborate dishes. I had a pasta and a dessert, everything was excellent, very well made and with very intense flavors, it is worth trying their dishes and desserts. However, the price is a bit high. The service was professional and correct.

12/12/2025: For a dear friend's birthday, we were fortunate enough to dine at this wonderful restaurant. The setting is refined, impeccably clean, and meticulously maintained. The atmosphere is magical, accompanied by light, relaxing background music. The impeccable welcome is evident from the moment you enter: the entire staff, without exception, is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to every guest's needs. The cuisine literally blew us away: a wide-ranging and well-balanced selection of seafood and meat, using the highest-quality ingredients. We chose the Hearts Tasting Menu, which proved to be a sublime experience from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend their signature dish, Bavette sul pesce, which is simply extraordinary. The wine list is also noteworthy, with a truly excellent selection. Special thanks to Matteo for his valuable and timely advice on choosing wines, and to Chiara, who made us feel right at home. I have no negatives to report: the Lorenzo Restaurant in Forte dei Marmi is an institution and fully deserves its fame.

14/11/2025: The most beautiful place in the world, where you feel at home. Located on a panoramic hill just a minute from the center of Capezzano Pianore, in summer you can fully enjoy the garden surrounded by nature. The food and service are top-notch, and the owner makes you feel at home. There's nothing better in the area.

21/02/2026: Discovered this place by chance during a visit to Viareggio. It's a shame we live far away and can't return. Excellent food, from appetizer to dessert. We had tordelli with ragù and ravioli with fondue and truffle shavings. For main courses, we had ribs, beef fillet, and sliced ​​beef with fondue. The meat was tender and flavorful. The service was exceptional, with perfect customer service. In total, for four first courses, four second courses, four desserts, two appetizers, wine, and water, we spent €300. Excellent price for the quality and quantity.

13/02/2026: I may be repetitive, but for me, this place is magical. Always a surefire choice whenever I need accommodations close to Lucca and the Garfagnana region. Spacious and clean rooms, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service and staff. We also ate at the restaurant downstairs in the evening, and were treated wonderfully with all the local specialties. The Hotel Milano is a GUARANTEE; staying and dining with Martina and Marco is a sure bet. I always come back and can't wait to return.

At the first counter we reported a medium portion of ice cream, 4 people, we paid, we got a receipt for payment and then moved on to choosing the types of ice cream. Medium portion means two types of ice cream + biscuit + whipped cream. The ice cream was delicious. Total for all people 12 Euro.
