04/05/2025: Had lunch today, started with the owner's usual great courtesy. Menu: unforgettable warm seafood salad, you could smell the sea! Continued with an extraordinary, for the quality of the raw material, cooking and presentation of the dish, mixed grilled seafood and vegetables! Excellent ! Green apple and Calvados sorbet to round off this gastronomic experience! The Prosecco recommended by the house is excellent! I will return as soon as possible! Congratulations to Vito and his mother, an excellent chef!

06/05/2025: Excellence in every detail: the table linen, the crockery, the attentive service, the affability of the staff as well as the professionalism. The dishes are masterpieces of haute cuisine, never banal but always tasty and delicious. Special mention for the wine list, from the most well-known labels to unobtainable gems resulting from a very careful selection and considerable knowledge. The Landlady has inherited a masterpiece and skilfully carries on a tradition, further raising the prestige of the venue. Compliments.

12/05/2025: We went on Saturday night for a birthday dinner, there were supposed to be 40 of us but unfortunately there were 32 of us, and in the end without telling us anything they made us pay for the 8 who weren't there, something like this has never happened!!! The service was really terrible, I've never been treated rudely by waiters in my life, not only did they answer badly to me but to most of the table... they served us quickly as if they wanted to send us away... we were eating the first course and at the table next to us they were already pulling up chairs on the tables to make things difficult for us, the agreed price included things that some diners never received but as said before we also had to pay for those who weren't there A very bad experience... I don't recommend it, too bad many years ago it was a completely different restaurant.

01/05/2025: The first time we had a holiday in Viareggio we stumbled upon it by chance, reading the reviews. The second time we looked for him. Excellent quality dishes (the ragu tortelli are unmissable) and excellent service make this restaurant a pearl of local catering. Small kindnesses that make the customer feel pampered and at ease in a minimalist but elegant context. Small "furry" guests are also welcome. I can only recommend it highly. Price adequate for the above but well deserved.

30/04/2025: An unforgettable dining experience — truly something special. Every dish was crafted with care, bold in flavour yet beautifully balanced. The octopus bao were a highlight: tender, smoky octopus paired with a vibrant salsa verde, tomato, and a rich glaze — absolutely packed with flavour. The scallop ceviche was light and elegant, lifted by a bright citrus mango dressing. The squid ink tagliatelle came in a rich, crab sauce with asparagus and a delicate borage flower garnish — a lovely touch. The seafood ravioli was subtle and refined, served in a deeply rich tomato sauce. And the sea bass — perfectly caramelised fillet over a carrot and ginger base — was stunning. Great pacing, lovely presentation, and a warm atmosphere made this a standout meal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a creative, modern seafood-focused menu done exceptionally well.

I loved every aspect: the excellent food, with attention to detail and full of flavor; the attention to the customer, always present but never intrusive; and the warm and welcoming environment, which makes you feel immediately at ease. It is a place where you can clearly perceive passion, professionalism and care. I can't wait to return!

Excellent quality/price ratio in a Versilia where it is not always easy to eat well without paying exorbitant amounts... at Buonamico it is possible to find a warm atmosphere and eat excellently without surprises in prices! Highly recommended.
