15/11/2025: We loved it so much we returned a couple of nights later. Food is FANTASTIC, choose either a la carte or degustation menu which can be a choice of 2 or 3 dishes. Lovely intimate atmosphere with friendly owners. Not to be missed! A must when visiting Lucca. Can’t recommend it highly enough! A delicious meal awaits you 😊

10/12/2025: Exceptional lunch. We chose the five-course tasting menu: a magnificent array of flavors, full of surprises, and excellent ingredients. The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. The chef was always present at the table, reflecting the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere.

04/12/2025: Even though the location is very nice and the food is very good, something happened to me that has never happened to me in my life! I frequent places like this, and about three months ago I went to Martinatica for the first time with someone who, alas, is to be forgotten. The service was good, except for the fact that the welcome and the description of the dishes are carried out like in a theatrical comedy that is a bit too artificial... and it really tastes fake, but aside from that, which is subjective... (I don't like it very much), last night I went back with my partner to celebrate my first month with her, hoping for a different evening: in reality, unfortunately, it turned out to be different! We had been sitting for a moment when the chef, a certain Mr. Francesco, came to the table with the air of a fellow diner rather than a professional and said: "Welcome back!" as if he had been a friend of mine for 30 years! My partner immediately, rightly, asked me: "So, have you been there before? Who did you bring?" And I said: yes, sorry, I was there with a crazy woman... but I wanted to have a good memory of this place by returning with you! I believe that if a serious and prepared professional "recognizes" a customer in his place who has been there previously but only once, he SHOULD NEVER make any mention if the customer returns with another woman! But that's not all: after 5 minutes this gentleman comes back to our table, gets almost on his knees and, almost resting his chin on the table, addresses my partner in a very confidential manner: do we know each other??? If it wasn't an important date of ours, I would have stood up and said: NO, SHE KNOWS ME! ​​ANY PROBLEM? My partner was shocked! And she said to me: look, I've never seen him, but who knows this guy! And I replied: he came because you are breathtakingly beautiful! A PLACE TO FORGET

Located on a panoramic hill just a minute from the center of Capezzano Pianore, in summer you can fully enjoy the garden surrounded by nature. The food and service are top-notch, and the owner makes you feel at home. There's nothing better in the area.

30/11/2025: I stayed one night at this hotel. The room was cozy, with a spacious bathroom. The dinner was excellent, considering the quality/price ratio (I highly recommend the peposo!)

The rooms are spacious, very clean, and the bathroom is very spacious. We also enjoyed the cuisine for both lunch and dinner. Mr. Marco was very helpful and recommended local specialties. All the dishes were exquisite, well-prepared, and made with top-quality ingredients. The service was very professional, and all the staff were highly trained, extremely kind, and helpful. Our stay, even if not for vacation, turned into an unexpected moment of relaxation. The hotel is very quiet and perfect for rest. Another important point is that the hotel is equipped with all eco-sustainable systems. I must say that the experience was beyond excellent, and we will definitely return. Highly recommended!!

12/12/2025: For a dear friend's birthday, we were fortunate enough to dine at this wonderful restaurant. The setting is refined, impeccably clean, and meticulously maintained. The atmosphere is magical, accompanied by light, relaxing background music. The impeccable welcome is evident from the moment you enter: the entire staff, without exception, is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to every guest's needs. The cuisine literally blew us away: a wide-ranging and well-balanced selection of seafood and meat, using the highest-quality ingredients. We chose the Hearts Tasting Menu, which proved to be a sublime experience from appetizer to dessert. I highly recommend their signature dish, Bavette sul pesce, which is simply extraordinary. The wine list is also noteworthy, with a truly excellent selection. Special thanks to Matteo for his valuable and timely advice on choosing wines, and to Chiara, who made us feel right at home. I have no negatives to report: the Lorenzo Restaurant in Forte dei Marmi is an institution and fully deserves its fame.

04/10/2025: Fantastic local restaurant, run by a husband and wife. Frequented mainly by local Italians. Owner doesn’t speak English but very friendly and we were able to communicate. Wife cooks fantastic Italian seafood dishes and husband runs front of house, serving everyone. Beautifully cooked seafood dishes. Best compliment I can give is; we have been twice already and because it was consistently good we are going back again for lunch today. Highly recommend

The staff is attentive and friendly, ready to fulfill any wish. The food is truly exquisite, top-quality, expertly prepared. The wines are truly excellent, as is the bill. Try it and let me know. They even promptly prepared a lovely slice of grilled chicken for our dog, with no problem. We liked the place. The price was surprisingly RIGHT. We'll be back.

Superb wine list, organic and biodynamic wines, and a wide selection of sparkling wines. Recommended for everyone; if you're passing through Viaregio, stop by—you won't regret it.
