22/10/2025: We were disappointed. The portions were small. One of the pasta dishes was not really cooked. We had to pay 3 Euro coperto per person, also for the children. The fish and seafood were very fresh. The service were friendly but could not guide us to a good wine in english. The location of this restaurant is of course very good, right in the city centre.
18/10/2025: Highly recommended! Excellent dishes and a very friendly staff combine in a refined, welcoming yet characterful atmosphere.

01/10/2025: We go to Erice repeatedly and we always look forward to this bar!! There is a very nice and cheerful service, delicious almond cookies or typical Linz dough cookies filled with various creams, the best is with ricotta - sheep's milk cheese. On one side of the bar there are sweet treats, on the other side there are savory snacks - pasta, pizza, arancine, focaccia, ..... pleasant sitting outside with amazing views with a coffee or good wine.

15/11/2025: Excellent location, welcoming and well-kept internal courtyard (compliments for the internal counter), superlative cuisine with delicious dishes.
04/10/2025: Let's be honest, the staff was friendly but we got to have our worst dinner in Sicily there. There was, amongst others, this weird octopus marinated in half butter half soja sauce (I guess a lost attempt at making it "umami") served with super cold side and a traditional couscous which was rougly about pourring the whole package of couscous in the plate and not much more else (other than a pour-it-yourself fish soup, I'm sure my teen would do this meal when they're alone at home). Usually there's some music, maybe it's best to drink and avoid food?

09/11/2025: Everything was very good; we tried the pizza and the fried pasta with panelle. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Service was quick. They're only open in the evenings.
01/11/2025: You need reservations. We arrived 30 minutes after opening to an empty restaurant. After another half an hour, the place was full. The ambiance was Great- it was like watching a family reunion with all of the locals out enjoying a Friday night. The service was excellent! I had the Stuffed Calamari which was very tasty, but I prefer the simple Calamari al Forno. The Spaghetti Vongole was full of Clams and tasty. Salads were good and as expected. Steak was ok- a little chewy, but the Roasted Potatoes, as simple as they were- absolutely delicious! A great experience!

05/12/2025: Welcoming place, excellent service, and truly sublime dishes. Everything I ate was carefully prepared: tuna tartare, marinated shrimp, and busiate pasta with gorgonzola, arugula, and shrimp—delicious.
I highly recommend it.

Since there are unfortunately mostly beach bars and almost no restaurants in Marinella, we chose this restaurant, partly because of its 4.6 rating.
However, we can't understand the rating! The ambiance seemed cold, there was a strange vibe, and the service was very odd.
When we got our pasta, we were initially disappointed by the small quantities. 5 ravioli for €15? That was a joke 😂 The "pasta alla norma" wasn't the original, but just pasta with eggplant (+ potatoes??). The original cheese was missing.
Unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with the taste. Therefore, we don't recommend it...

23/10/2025: I had dinner there a few days ago. Nothing to say, the food was top-notch. I still dream about that fantastic spaghetti with sea urchins. They were expertly prepared like very few people know how to do these days. The ingredients were excellent, the service impeccable and friendly, and the value for money was excellent—very fair, I must say.
It was my first time here, and Francesco, the owner, immediately made me feel at home with his friendliness and his approach to catering. We'll definitely be back much more often. Thanks for everything.

09/11/2025: An exceptional place on the seashore, where taste, aesthetics and comfort are combined. The food is impeccable. The most delicious mussels in Sicily😋, which surprised with their freshness and subtlety of flavors. The pizzas are unreal👍👍👍. The service is professional, sincere and attentive to every detail. A true gourmet experience on the Sicilian coast - I recommend it 100%!!!👍🤗

06/12/2025: We came here on the last night of our trip and it was delicious. Not the best pasta I had in Castellammare, but it was flavourful and huge portions with lots of seafood. The addition of curry in the ravioli sauce was unusual but it worked.
The staff are very friendly - we ordered a carafe of wine and only had the thick stemmed water glasses. They were quick to bring us proper white wine glasses and were welcoming of our attempts at Italian!
The outside area is on a slant which isn’t the most comfortable but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
I would come here again!
08/11/2025: In September, we dined at "La.maidda" a few evenings and had a wonderful time.
The first and second courses were incredibly fresh fish. The tuna and pistachio steak was fantastic.
The house wine was excellent.
The price was reasonable for the dishes.
Recommended!

The Caponata Siciliana as a starter was especially delicious!
