09/01/2025: We waited a long time at the table for 2 pizzas, because they served the takeaway ones first. In the meantime we ordered 2 small plates of broccoli which we were charged 16 euros for! In Milan we would have paid a maximum of 8/9 euros

04/01/2025: What a wonderful experience in this hidden neighborhood gem mostly frequented by locals. The octopus special was amazing, and the ricotta pasta with pork sauce hot the spot.

El personal es muy amable y atento de la manera más genuina y crear un ambiente maravilloso junto con todos los lugareños habituales que llenan el restaurante cada noche. Disfrutamos tanto de Al Casareccio que fuimos allí para dos cenas y un almuerzo durante nuestra estancia en Ragusa.

06/02/2025: In a place right in the center of Modica, I found this beautiful characteristic place. Excellent welcome, excellent choice of wines. The food is a balm for the soul, not even in Rome where I live do you eat so well. Congratulations indeed!!

05/02/2025: We returned to visit chef Luciano in his restaurant. It is a staple every time we visit Baroque Sicily. This time too we had a divine meal in this restaurant in a characteristic alley of Modica which has rooms and lounges, all carefully furnished, suitable for all occasions, both in groups and for couples. Raw and cooked fish of the highest quality cooked and presented with skill that satisfies both the taste and the sight. Large and well-stocked cellar.

28/12/2024: Sono tornata in questo ristorante dopo anni, su consiglio di mio marito che vi era stato per una cena di lavoro. Ho ritrovato la stessa qualità, cortesia e attenzione verso le materie prime e i piatti che ricordavo, ma con più estro, sia nella presentazione, che negli accostamenti di sapori e ingredienti. Ritornerò di sicuro.

29/12/2024: Dishes with attention to the smallest details. The steamed cod and crispy octopus with caramelized onion are highly recommended. Super courteous and kind waitress. Before the arrival of the dishes we requested, we were served local breadsticks with local bread and an entrée of panelle with octopus and herb mayonnaise. Less positive was the fact that I paid 8 euros for a cover charge for 2 people and that I paid 12 euros for 2 bitters. In the vast majority of restaurants I found myself in, the bitters are always offered on the house and the fact that they were not offered is more than fair, but paying 12 euros for them seems a bit excessive to me. It is still a place that I highly recommend and to which I would gladly return.
