01/08/2024: It was really tasty again, we ate here several times last year. And last night we had the "TAGLIATA DI POLLO" twice and the "TAGLIATA HYBLEA" once. The “Patate Bastarde” potato wedges with Ragusano cream are highly recommended. Prices are also good and the Coperto is not excessive, something we have already experienced elsewhere this year. Keep it up and my wife will come for the pistachio cheesecake 😉

03/05/2024: Trattoria in name and in fact, let's say rustic environment, the tables are with paper tablecloths and the menu is written on a blackboard. There is a ladder to reach the venue, therefore it is not suitable for wheelchairs. After the explanation of the dishes by the young chef, explanations that I very much appreciated, I had a linguine with tomatoes and prawns, a mixed fry and a glass of wine. Good quality, portions perhaps below average, all in my opinion a good quality/price ratio. Service could be improved but it is a young staff and should be encouraged, well done.

29/04/2024: Excellent fish cooked without too many frills but to enhance the taste, the chef is really good and kind. The grouper ravioli are among the best fish ravioli I have eaten, tasty and balanced, bravo! Nice and charming place but a little too much cellar perhaps for sunny days.

14/08/2024: lovely trattoria, really good dishes, nothing to say, good and plentiful, perhaps even a little too much. the only flaw? as it is really good, it is also really expensive, a plate of spaghetti with sea urchins paid €25, ok the goodness, but it's a bit too much for everyone.

12/08/2024: Everything perfect! We returned here, from Catania, after a year just to eat the grouper ravioli... something amazing! Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff We will definitely be back

07/08/2024: Very nice place located in the countryside of Modica and Fricintini and Cava d`ispica very kind and knowledgeable staff, the only flaw is that you must have a navigator otherwise it is a little difficult to find

Ho preso una grigliata di pesce, arrivata dopo quasi un'ora d'attesa e assolutamente mediocre. Pesce spada colloso, totano crudo...insomma, non ci siamo proprio. Peccato veramente

22/07/2024: Very good Sicilian meal at a modest price, the staff is welcoming and very kind. The boss explains to us at the table the dishes available, typically Sicilian recipes. The octopus caponata is delicious, the veal is tender and well prepared. Very generous portions.

16/07/2024: Amazing!!! Wonderfully cool (in all senses) dining room - with almost all locals. And why wouldn’t they! Very reasonable priced, fabulous food - and IMHO - the best cream Catalan I’ve had ever. Delicious cheap local wine, friendly multilingual staff - and wonderful pasta - so elegant yet hearty. Great atmosphere, great food, great wine - small bill. Highly recommended

14/07/2024: An excellent experience. The structure is very well looked after, the rooms well organised, the breakfasts excellent, the attention of the owners the further positive note. Excellent starting point for visiting baroque Sicily far and wide and the many magnificent beaches in the surrounding area.

08/08/2024: Beautiful closed courtyard old country house, with arch entry and fountain in the court. The food was good but not amazing (maybe the chefs were under stress for an event), the atmosphere is top notch.

19/08/2024: Unexpected! Very nice owner and very willing to help us with the choice. We chose to eat fish... The best choice. Abundant portions (like a good Roman fork) and really high quality (try the freshly seared swordfish or the mega fried fish). All in a family atmosphere.

06/08/2024: The owner is friendly and very good at managing reservations between dining room, takeaway and home delivery. The pizza was surprisingly good. Good value for money, a small discordant note is that sometimes you find Grana (or perhaps Valgrana) instead of Ragusano, or normal onion instead of roasted

18/08/2024: We arrived a little late because we got lost and we made many turns to park. The meter was very inflexible, not very empathetic and did not give us any other option. A disappointment. Luckily we found another restaurant that offered us a table if we waited 30m and we had a fantastic dinner.

14/08/2024: We moved to Scicli a month ago and all of our new friends recommended Noka Bistro and they were correct, it's amazing. We walked by on our way to another bar and stopped to look at the menu and the owner/chef came and welcomed us, wonderful person. He offered for us to have a beverage even though they were not officially open. I ordered a G&T and he asked dry or botanical (1st time anyone asked:)). Friends, saw us and joined us, which was nice the owner served them drinks too. We were sat at a beautiful table with candles nearby. The Server/owner (amazing) took my wife to the menu board and explained in detail all the seafood offerings. The food presentation is excellent and love the beautiful plates used. The food had a perfect balance of flavors and looked amazing. The service team were exceptional, always scanning to assist patrons and remove empty plates. They do not use paper menus because everything is made fresh to order and at times some ingredients are not always available, use Google Translate app to translate the menu and know all staff are fluent in English. The location and atmosphere are heavenly and tranquil. It's a culinary Scicli gem. Highly recommend and we will frequent often, so much more delicious food to try. We arrived at 1900hrs and they do get busy, recommend making reservations.
