11/12/2024: Highly recommended if you want to live a 100% Palermo experience. Homemade food and family recipes. Very abundant dishes and at a very reasonable price. But the best thing without a doubt was the attention of the kids who served us: charming and very helpful. When you sit down, they warn you about what is not on the menu for that day and what other dishes they can prepare as a variation of those that are there. Like at home, let's go. During our stay in Palermo we were in other finer and very good places, but I prefer this type, where you don't feel like just another tourist.

08/01/2025: Ambiente elegante e sobrio. Servizio distinto con personale attento al cliente ma non invadente. Estetica delle portate cool ma la bontà dei piatti supera tutto. Risotto Acquerello è l'apoteosi dei sensi . Proprietario affabile e gentile. Lo consiglio!

05/01/2025: A very nice restaurant, with friendly waiters. The sommelier is also friendly and helpful, he recommends excellent wines and also a restaurant in Budapest, which is his Sicilian friend. We ate à la carte, everything was perfect. We have also been to a starred restaurant in Sicily, but for me Cortile Pepe was the best dining experience, surpassing all other restaurants. If you are in Cefalù, it is absolutely not to be missed!

02/11/2024: The restruant had great atmosphere, service was exemplary and the food was excellent. A cut above the usual pasta and pizza on offer at a very reasonable price. I thoroughly enjoyed my rare cooked tuna and my partner his beef.

08/01/2025: What we like most about the Giada Bar Restaurant is Franco and his son's passion for good and well-made things. From the various delights found at breakfast, to the restaurant where there is always fresh food, especially fish. Very good wine cellar assorted. I would like to point out the Tiramisu which is a real delight and the fried Calzone, awarded as the best in Palermo (and it's the truth). The 5 Stars are not only well deserved but I would say mandatory. Well done

28/11/2024: Fuimos allí todas las mañanas para el desayuno, ya que nos alojamos en Palazzo Planeta que está al lado. El propietario y el personal eran muy amables proporcionando un servicio excelente y personal. Siempre estaban abiertos a charlas y bromas agradables. Tuvimos un gran tiempo con ellos. Sirven una variedad de pasteles dulces, panini y otros no dulces. Por supuesto, el café era excelente, así como la comida. Esperamos volver.

02/01/2025: Ottimo ristorante per chi vuole cenare con piatti a base di pesce.. Offre una varietà di antipasti di diversa tipologia ma tutti preparati accuratamente , ottima la caponata di pesce spada e la fritturina mista.. Il proprietario molto cordiale ci ha elencato i diversi primi , buonissime le fettuccine con gambero, ricciola e pomodorini . Lo consiglio per chi non vuole allontanarsi dalla città ma vuol mangiare degli ottimi piatti a base di pesce.

22/11/2024: Arredamento del locale antiquato. Ho scelto la tempura come antipasto, ma era una banale frittura in pastella. Ci propongono e presentano una spigola x 2. Il pesce torna nei nostri 2 piatti in pezzetti in ordine sparso. In un ristorante con un minimo di pretese il maitre torna col pesce cotto, lo pulisce davanti i commensali e depone i filetti INTERI nei piatti. Dessert insignifante.

The arancinette (offered) are a pleasant surprise First course with cheese and pepper (I felt like I was in a bad mood) second course with grilled meat, well cooked and very tender... 15/01/2025: Excellent selection of pizzas, sandwiches and much more. The special pizzas are delicious, they alone are enough to fill you up in abundance, I have been to this pizzeria twice and both are good experiences. The burgers are also good and huge. Excellent service. Prices more than fair.

15/01/2025: nice place, organized even if very crowded they manage to serve you quickly and for every request you are immediately served delicious pizzas even the excellent gluten-free ones served with all the attention required by AIC dishes of different colors flags indicating that they are gluten free cutlery separately, a huge choice of sweet pizzas then the chips with pistachio cream for us too, it seems obvious but most of the time they don't even offer you normal chips, what can I say Thank you on behalf of all celiacs thank you very much

06/01/2025: We had dinner in this restaurant on the evening of December 31st. Upon booking, the owner very kindly let us choose the table. It was busy when we arrived (be patient). After 20 minutes of waiting we asked to order, the third time we did it. 2 seafood appetizers with invisible shrimp, my pasta fusilli, shrimp and courgettes thrown in with cooking water. The second courses are sea bass fillet and swordfish rolls ok. We weren't asked if a dessert was huge, we were expecting a toast with sparkling wine offered as mentioned at the time of booking..... Nothing, we left at 11.50pm very disappointed without even a happy new year.

13/12/2024: Excellent trattoria, very fresh fish, a note of merit goes to the fried foods which are all truly excellent. Friendly staff and nice location. Would I go back? Absolutely yes.

18/11/2024: We asked a local person to recommend a restaurant and he recommended IL VECCHIO MAFONE, we were very lucky because in this restaurant you eat very well, very fresh fish and cooked very well, spending the right amount. The staff very friendly and nice. Highly recommended!
