29/08/2025: Being lovers of good food, upon our arrival in Palermo we set out to find a place where we could eat well and possibly one that was most in keeping with the simple traditions and free from concoctions that nowadays abound, especially in areas frequented by tourists. By intuition or by instinct, we decided to try Cambusone, located in Piazza San Andrea and near Corso Vittorio Emanuele. We arrived without a reservation, but Tony (one of the two owners together with Alex) took steps to find us a table since they had everything booked and placed us in a quiet corner since the same table was reserved for 9 pm. The terrace location is nice and quiet, being away from both car and pedestrian traffic, all the staff are welcoming and helpful. Salvo, the boy who handles us for the service, together with Tony and Alex, is very helpful and kind. We decided to try some fish-based dishes and I assure you that they prepare real delicacies with raw materials at the 🔝, the preparation of the dishes offered is very well prepared and presented. The service is 10+. And so we decided not to look for alternatives since a winning team never changes🤣 and during our stay in Palermo Il Cambusone was our reference for our dinners. During the various visits we tried several dishes offered on the menu and never a flaw to complain about as well as the excellent service of all the staff. 01/08/2025: I was in Ustica the first week of July with my boyfriend! We ate at this restaurant on two evenings. Excellent service, a nice Sicilian wine list with excellent wine pairing recommendations. The fresh grouper tartare was excellent, as were the fried Ustica shrimp, and why not, their special menu item created especially for us (🫣). The sea-view terrace is perfect for a romantic dinner... 14/08/2025: Seven of us had lunch, adults and children, and we were served excellently. The staff is professional and knowledgeable, and we saw a true Sicilian passion for traditional products and fine local wine. I recommend it if you're looking for a good, traditional yet sophisticated meal.

15/08/2025: It's a pizzeria restaurant offering a menu with several options, including appetizers, first courses, second courses, pizzas, and desserts. It has a fairly spacious outdoor area. Upon entering, you're greeted by a welcoming indoor dining room, which leads to an outdoor dining area during the summer. We ordered two appetizers, two pizzas, water, cola, orange juice, and two coffees, and to our surprise, they even offered us lemon sorbet! The place is beautiful and elegant, perfect for an evening dinner with friends or family in a truly refined atmosphere. The staff is well-trained and all serve tables quickly, polite, and smiling, making guests feel at ease. The owners are also truly affable and friendly. Overall, we had a great time and will gladly return.

25/05/2025: This is one of those restaurants where you wonder why they dont have a higher rating. They accommodated our group of 9 with very short notice on a Friday evening. The owner/host (Jessica) and all the staff were very friendly and the service was top class. Every dish we had was truly excellent. When ordering desserts, we asked if it would be possible to have candles for 2 of our group who's birthday's we were celebrating. Not only did they have candles but they had numbers for the specific year of the birthday's. The only disappointment was that we only tried this restaurant on the final evening before we left Palermo so couldn't go back again.
