20/10/2025: The food is absolutely delicious, the best that we had in Sicily. Waiters are very helpful, polite. We are traveling with 20 month old toddler, the stuff helped us to arrange the food for the kid. Pizzas are outstanding, second dishes very very tasty. The waiter Joseppe was absolutely the best, very friendly, polite, and helpful!

01/03/2026: We spent a pleasant evening at Enoteca Butticè, in the heart of Palermo. The restaurant offers impeccably prepared traditional Sicilian dishes, with a modern twist that still preserves the flavors of yesteryear. Each course strikes the perfect balance between innovation and respect for traditional cuisine, offering an authentic yet contemporary experience. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes are truly remarkable. You can sense the desire to enhance historic recipes while preserving their soul, but with contemporary technique and sensibility. The real strength is undoubtedly the extensive selection of wines and spirits, including international ones: a wide and refined menu, capable of satisfying both enthusiasts and those simply looking for the perfect accompaniment to dinner. The only downside is the noise: at a certain point during the evening, it became too crowded. Sitting inside near the register, we were a bit overwhelmed by the constant bustle of waiters coming out of the kitchen and people arriving and leaving. Overall, however, an address worth a visit, especially for those who love Sicilian tradition accompanied by an excellent selection of wines.

Unparalleled local products, wines, oils, and manna, along with the presence and words of Giulio Gelardi, warmed the hearts and souls of all of us. 09/03/2026: A disappointment: the appetizer consisted of rubbery seafood salad and a tough swordfish caponata with no sweet and sour sauce, the swordfish meatballs were all soft and tasteless, and the marinara risotto lacked fish stock and garlic, and was completely flavorless. When we complained, the manager replied, "We can do it again, we'll give you a double portion of ravioli." We all asked for an alternative, but they remained firm. The mimosa dessert was also frozen, and they didn't even offer a discount at the register. In fact, they insisted, saying no one had complained about the risotto. Clearly, no one in the dining room was a gourmet. I'm sorry, you screwed up today; you lost eight customers in one fell swoop.

18/02/2026: I visited this restaurant intrigued by its participation in the "4 Ristoranti" program. The atmosphere is welcoming, but unfortunately, the dining experience didn't live up to expectations. ​I ordered seafood salad and mixed fried fish, which I found subdued: the flavors weren't well-balanced and lacked the "zing" you'd expect from fresh fish. The first course, "Lo Special," also didn't convince me: the pasta wasn't quite right, and the sauce wasn't very strong. ​I'm disappointed because there's potential, but in my opinion, the cuisine needs more attention to live up to the restaurant's reputation. Friendly service.
