28/03/2024: Typical place, with fresh seafood. The owner Giancarlo, son Filipo, daughter Simone and cousin Frederica, serve the tables and are extremely kind! The experience is really worth it. Excellent house wine!

08/05/2024: It was a beautiful dinner and experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and very kind, they treated us like two pashas!! The quality of the food is very high, very fresh fish and cutting-edge recipes. You can see the chef's passion. Compliments! It was a wonderful discovery to have dinner here. If I ever return to Catania I will definitely stay here again!! (Unless I decide to come back to eat before leaving again Ihihih)

05/05/2024: We went to Anime and Core, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to our expectations. The main problem was the waiting time: between the starter and the first course we waited more than 45 minutes. We don't know if there were any problems in the kitchen that evening, but the service was decidedly slow. We had asked for information on the rustic appetizer and the explanation we were given was rather vague: "it contains various typical things and then cured meats and cheeses". In the end we were served a plate with eight mini portions, which at 15 euros seemed excessive for the quantity and variety offered. The only dish that really impressed us was the roasted octopus on potato cream, which at 18 euros was perhaps a little expensive but of good quality (at least this one, recommended). As for the first courses, the portions were generous, but the flavor didn't impress us. The overall price seemed high compared to the quality/quantity of the food and the service received. We reported our disappointment regarding the starter and the response we got was unprofessional: "well, what do you want, it's a dish". We did not persist with further disappointments precisely to avoid other obvious answers. We probably weren't lucky, but our experience was disappointing. Let's hope it was just a "bad day" for the restaurant, but for the moment I don't feel like recommending it.

23/10/2023: Genialna obsługa!!! Mega pyszne jedzenie!!! Byliśmy tu 3 razy na pysznej kolacji z mega dobrym winem. Wszystko świeże i pyszne. Lobster pierwsza klasa, mule zapiekane, pizza, roladki z lokalnych ryb i owoce morza rewelacja. Desery przepyszne. Gorąco polecam!!!

21/02/2024: My boyfriend and I were eating a four course here. The food was delicious, everything tasted very unique. I love Sicilian food, yet often it's a bit too greasy and hard to digest. Here I didn't had this "heavy feeling" after. The waiter was very kind and asking us about allergies and intolerances, which I think is amazing. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere with lots of pretty artwork. It's located in the beautiful old town of Caltagirone, very near to the big scales. I highly recommend it!

20/01/2024: We went to this restaurant for lunch today.... They welcomed us very well and also welcomed our 2 slightly bulky dogs.... Excellent and particular food, impeccable service, the waiter was very kind and very knowledgeable. .. Thank you

07/04/2024: The sushi full of rice vinegar, we returned home with strong stomach acid. Knowing how to make sushi is an important step before bombarding Catania with gigantic billboards.

11/03/2024: Apart from the food and the location which I like... I would always go to this place for the very polite staff and the girls who are of an unparalleled sweetness and helpfulness. They know how to advise and are very friendly in doing so. Dealing with customers is not easy, especially if it is done with a smile.

21/03/2024: The pizza was the best we’ve had throughout our trip in Sicily! The dough was delicious and the portions were so generous (even the pasta as well)! Staff was very friendly as well.

06/04/2024: The food was great. A real insider tip. A bit hidden, so not so crowded. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The grilled fish platter and the Etnea white wine were a dream. The bruschetta is delicious. Gladly again.
