01/01/2025: Cena veglione di Capodanno La cena si è svolta in due sale: il primo disservizio si è evidenziato da subito, gli ospiti venivano mandati da una sala all’altra quando sarebbe bastato assegnare i posti al momento della prenotazione e del pagamento della caparra. Dopo aver finalmente trovato la nostra collocazione inizia la grande fila per saldare il conto Ci sediamo finalmente al nostro tavolo e attendiamo l’aperitivo di benvenuto: trattasi di due dita di prosecco e niente per accompagnarlo. Dopo più di mezz’ora iniziano ad arrivare le portate degli antipasti: voto presentazione del piatto 0; voto sapore 1, l’unico antipasto buono era il tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Primi piatti: fuselloni con crema(o meglio aroma) dí carciofi e sugo di orata pessimo: pasta scotta Secondo primo: trofie al ragù di cinghiale con petali di formaggio: pasta poco cotta e sugo che sapeva di bruciato Secondi piatti: trancio di dentice (surgelato) adagiato su un letto di polenta che galleggiava in un brodo con sapore incerto Seconda portata: nodini di vitello al cannonau: bruciato e del cannonau non si sentiva l’aroma,anzi sembrava essere stato cotto con il dado Contorno: patate arrosto, buone Frutta secca e fresca : buona Mezzanotte:spumante e pandoro panettone porzione a persona circa 60 gr Animazione: pessima, sembrava di essere in una casa per anziani a giocare a tombola 😩 Personale di sala: attento alle esigenze degli ospiti,quando riportavano via i piatti pieni non avevano più il coraggio di chiedere cosa non andava Il tutto per la modica cifra di 95€ a persona. 01/01/2025: Cenone del 31/12/2024 pessima cucina , cibo scadente mal cucinato, 95 euro a persona!!!, nella mense si mangia meglio, a livello da chiedere rimborso, animazione dopo il cenone deludente play list inadeguata, occasione persa per farsi pubblicità ad inizio nuova gestione.

28/09/2024: Ottimi primi piatti di pesce, gli spaghetti alla bottarga degni di nota. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile (mi hanno subito offerto una soluzione per un ottimo piatto di ravioli per il mio bimbo di un anno e mezzo senza dover scegliere dal menù "adulti"). Pesce di altissima qualità, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

10/12/2024: Value for money absolutely out of line. 22 euros a microscopic tuna tartar, full of fat and cartilage that I had to discard, on top of a tasteless burrata. The seafood carbonaras arrived at the table all very salty even if cooked at different times (this implies a mistake upstream of the line) with incorrect creaming (curdled). I didn't like the fried food, with the fish being of little quality and quite greasy and heavy (waited for almost 40 minutes after the others had already finished eating). The trio of tuna samples were absolutely too expensive (30 euros) for three pieces of tuna as good as many other tuna dishes I've tasted around. I hope not to read the usual tale of raw materials and processing as a justification answer because in Carloforte we all know how much good tuna and Ventresca and fish in general cost; and if you want you can create dishes with excellent raw materials without applying these prices. In my opinion, for these prices the restaurateur must be able to offer a very high level both in the kitchen and in the dining room, something that has absolutely failed here. Those who frequent high-level restaurants assiduously will agree with me on what I say, at that point I prefer to spend double or triple, but for it to be truly an experience. Last point which is not clear to me, first Nicola came to illustrate the wine, then he was the chef in the kitchen and then to do the math, I didn't appreciate this aspect.

11/12/2024: Well… a guarantee. Not going is a real shame. Super friendly staff. In life you can freely make your own choices, God forbid; but not stopping here to eat for lunch or dinner is truly an unforgivable mistake. Sorry but we didn't have time to publish the "healthy" photo of the grilled fish... it was too good, my wife couldn't resist and devoured it 😅 I went for a sublime wild boar hunter... very tender and spicy with earthy flavours, the wild fennel is fabulous

21/10/2024: Tanto tempo che non mangiavo in questo locale.. ma tutto.. a parte la mancanza del caro Basilio è rimasto uguale. Quattro antipasti misti mare e un dolce. Due bottiglie di vino. Prezzo onesto.. Ritornerò presto

04/11/2024: Arrivato senza prenotazione chiedo un tavolo, e probabilmente, anzi sicuramente data la bassa stagione, mi viene risposto di accomodarmi dove preferivo. Conseguentemente anche il servizio è stato più che eccellente. Massima disponibilità, cortesia, simpatia, dovizia nella descrizione dei piatti e nella spiegazione della carta dei vini. Le portate, tutte freschissime e di ottima manifattura. Anche il prezzo è stato assolutamente in linea con il periodo e la media dei ristoranti in zona. Nulla da ecceppire su tutto, complimenti!!!

16/10/2024: The restaurant was a real discovery, the innkeeper won us over with his kind manner, absolutely worth trying with the Carlofortina pasticcio, the salad with the typical Carloforte tiger cucumbers, tomato biscuits and the inevitable tuna as well as the Carloforte pasta which was truly balanced and tasty!!

23/03/2025: Sconsigliato! Una frittura di pesce pessima: cruda, molliccia, surgelata, inzuppata di olio, senza sapore. Esperienza da non ripetere!!

02/01/2025: Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante, ci siamo andati svariate volte durante la nostra permanenza a Sant’Antioco e abbiamo riscoperto i sapori autentici del nostro mare. Il pesce è cotto alla perfezione e il personale è molto gentile. Pulizia e professionalità sempre al primo posto 🥇 Consiglio inoltre di provare i ravioli fritti, sono buonissimi!!!

All very professional and excellent cuisine. The rooms were spacious and clean. We will definitely be happy to return and I recommend it to anyone who goes to Porto Pino.

30/09/2024: can't understand the negative reviews as this was the best restaurant we found in the area and went there every night ! there is a small menu but offers a choice of seafood and meat meals to suit most people. the service is not rushed (it's Italy - it's about enjoying and relaxing at the meal !) the service was wonderful and they were busy every night and this was late September .....the food is obviously freshly made and reasonably priced too...cant wait to go back next year ! thank you

Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e simpatia dal personale e la nostra esperienza positiva è continuata assaporarando un delizioso piatto di spaghetti con tonno, bottarga e pinoli e un'ottima pizza! abbiamo concluso con uno squisito dolce della casa! non possiamo che stra consigliare questo ristorante pizzeria, per gli amanti del pesce fresco e dell'ottima pizza! se siete a Calasetta non potete non provarlo!!
