26/06/2025: Marenuesciu is a restaurant with history and passion, excellent food and attention to detail. We had an exquisite seafood appetizer of 8 small courses, a mix of flavor and traditions. The cavatelli with chickpea cream, clams and shrimps a treat for the palate. Fresh oysters and spaghetti alla chitarra with lobster. All accompanied with a fresh house rosé. Warm and welcoming environment, owners and staff really kind, attentive and helpful. See you next time!

09/06/2025: Wir haben ein hervorragendes Nachtessen im Restaurant Matisse genosssen. Unser Tisch im idyllischen Garten war top, das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam und das Essen war Weltklasse. Wir haben einen feinen Fisch, hergerichtet in Salzkruste, gegessen und dazu einen herrlichen lokalen Weisswein getrunken. Alles war sehr sehr gut und wir werden bestimmt dieses Lokal bei unseren nächsten Süditalien-Ferien wieder besuchen.

15/06/2025: Cenamos en Il Diavolocchio Goloso y nos fuimos realmente impresionados. El restaurante tiene un ambiente hermoso, refinado pero acogedor, con un ambiente sharm y chic que equilibra perfectamente el carácter local y el estilo elegante. Los mariscos son increíblemente frescos, en realidad lo llevan a su mesa antes de cocinarlo, lo que es un gran toque y muestra una verdadera atención a la calidad. Los platos están muy bien plateados, visualmente impresionantes y aún mejor para comer: sabores auténticos preparados con habilidad y respeto por los ingredientes. El servicio es atento y cálido, exactamente lo que cabría esperar de un restaurante de este nivel. El camarero era profesional, servicial y discreto, siempre presente sin ser intrusivo. Un lugar que ofrece sabor, presentación y hospitalidad. Muy recomendable para cualquier persona que busque disfrutar de mariscos de alta calidad en un entorno elegante pero lleno de alma.

04/06/2025: Ottimo consiglio datoci dalla Sig.ra Claudia dell’Azienda vitivinicola “Cantele”, ottimo il servizio, ottima la materia prima e la cucina. Il prezzo è congruo con il livello espresso. Da consigliare a chi vuole mangiare del pesce fresco ben lavorato accompagnato degli ottimi vini.

Mention spéciale à Marco, qui nous a servis avec un grand professionnalisme : attentionné, souriant, à l’écoute, et de très bons conseils pour le choix des plats. 08/06/2025: Day 7 in Italy, the food I ate in Italy was the most delicious!! The pasta wasn't salty at all and was very well seasoned. The mussels were fresh and there were a lot of them. The waiters and the owner were all very kind, so I had a great meal. I recommend it!!

13/06/2025: Abbiamo provato questo ristorante per non incappare nei soliti del lungomare e ne siamo rimasti delusi. Prezzi decisamente alti e non proporzionati nè alla qualità nè alla quantità delle pietanze. I secondi potevano essere degli antipasti. La seppia dello spiedino, dura. Il roast beef, duro. Buono il dolce fatto in casa cn crema e marmellata di fichi. Servizio veloce attento e simpatico

Efficient staff that puts you at ease to enjoy a pleasant evening with friends dedicated to good food. We stayed outside for after dinner to continue drinking in company and in the tranquility, a really nice place.

31/05/2025: It’s been a really long time since I had a culinary experience of this level. I admit that it’s a bit difficult to surprise me with food. The last time was in a starred restaurant and I have to admit that the dinner at I Rocci surpassed even that. The research in the dishes is visible, it’s felt, but it’s totally devoid of that self-assurance that is often called “experimentation”. At I Rocci the chef places himself without protagonism, it seems that he places himself after the ingredient, after the palate of the guest to whom the kitchen reserves a little surprise before ordering and at the end of the meal, after dessert. In the dining room, the atmosphere is informal and cheerful but without a lack of attention. I have no idea how much was spent, I was my son’s guest, but whatever the bill, it was well deserved. The joy and happiness of the dinner continues even today. Thanks again.

27/06/2025: Tasty dishes (mostly seafood), fresh ingredients (fish was from the catch of the day), nice atmosphere and personnel. We had dinner here both days while in Gallipoli. Definitely not a tourist trap.

26/06/2025: A completely overrated place, in my opinion! We ordered the tasting menu, and it left us somewhat indifferent. The service was a bit unfriendly, and they brought our dishes practically at the same time, which meant we didn't enjoy the meal because we had to eat as quickly as possible so the dishes wouldn't get cold. Quite disappointing because we had high expectations. Still, the place is beautiful and the wine was delicious, which is why I'm giving it three stars.

Very kind staff and neat location ... so far so good but with the arrival of the dishes, the story changed .. fish not fresh and first courses completely tasteless .. I was afraid I might feel sick! To make matters worse was the bill .. exorbitant for the quality. Not to be returned.

16/06/2025: I don't know from where all these good reviews are coming or how a restaurant with food like this is coming to an 2024 tripadvisor winner. Everything was over salted and without any taste - the sea food salad had the feel and taste of a supermarket production. It's sad to have food like this in puglia.
