01/11/2024: A great discovery when visiting the Puglia region. This restaurant nestled in a small village offered us a menu with extremely well prepared local products. The wine from the regions of Italy are excellent, especially a Sauvignon blanc. The service is perfect and friendly. We feel that they love what they do. There were 6 of us and we went there twice during our stay. Around €35/person with starter/main course/dessert and wine. And a nice appetizer and sweet treats to finish. I recommend 1000 times.

09/01/2025: Ho festeggiato il compleanno presso MARENUESCIU. Devo complimentarmi intanto dell’educazione e delle buona maniera di tutti, dal titolare, alla chef, e per finire al personale, discreto ma sempre presente. Cibo veramente buono e ben cucinato. Gamberi viola assolutamente freschi e di buona qualità. Tutto il pesce mangiato compreso quello che guarniva i primi, assolutamente di primissima scelta. Frittura di calamari ben cucinata ed in olio ottimo. Comunque merita il massimo della valutazione, anche con due piccole considerazioni. Locale un po freddo ( controllare pompe di calore) e, secondo il mio modesto parere, si sarebbero dovuti lavare meglio i calamari della frittura . Comunque veramente bravi. A presto.

28/12/2024: All very good, perfect food. However, heavy battering on fried fish takes a lot away from the fish. The molecular cuisine part takes away almost everything from the typical products of that area, which are particularly tasty and fragrant, but the classic cuisine is excellent

21/01/2025: I had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant on a Saturday. I have to say it was a truly memorable experience. The restaurant is located in an enchanting position, a stone's throw from the sea, with a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind and professional, offering impeccable service. The menu is full of delicious options, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried almost all the starters together with my girlfriend: a riot of truly succulent flavors and the quality of the fish was excellent. As a first course we had a seafood carbonara and ravioli filled with purple potatoes with fish sauce, a culinary surprise in every bite, all accompanied by two glasses of white and rosé wine recommended by the house. We concluded lunch with a tiramisu and an almond paste tart filled with chocolate: the first (served inside a meringue), which personally didn't make me crazy, I would have simply added one as an accompaniment. The second course was served on a coulis of wild berries and was simply delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and with attention to the smallest details, with a Lecce stone ceiling that adds a touch of authenticity. It is the ideal place for a special dinner or to celebrate an important occasion, but also just to indulge in a quiet and elegant meal. In summary, the Underground Fish Restaurant is a great choice for those looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to go back!

13/01/2025: Castro is wonderful, both the town and the sea. This restaurant was a surprise. Very nice inside, with outdoor seating. We stayed on January 3rd. We only ate a seafood salad which was served as an appetizer with 1 glass of wine. A little expensive €25 out of season, but the location is worth it. I can't imagine the prices in season 😊

02/01/2025: Thanks to a gift, we took advantage of the Masseria Bandino Spa... What can I say, everything was perfect and enchanting! From the kind welcome to the obsessive cleanliness of the spaces... we took a two-hour journey through saunas, hydromassage and relaxation on the sunbeds, served with drinks and herbal teas, and a plate of fresh fruit, all accompanied by relaxing music and the right amount of privacy ! An environment with attention to the smallest details, where it leaves no room for the smells of mold or stagnant water that we have always smelled in other wellness centres, but rather the scents of lime and clean smells! Both the lady at the reception and the lady at the Spa were kind, welcoming, smiling and not intrusive! An excellent solution as a gift idea so as not to make a bad impression, but for us, a right motivation to return!

25/09/2024: Nonostante siano tanti anni che veniamo a Pescoluse non conoscevamo questo ristorante. Si trova un po’ all’interno ma dispone di una bella terrazza. Abbiamo cenato in due e devo dire che materia prima, impiattamento e sapori erano al top. Conto commisurato alla qualità del cibo. Complimenti

22/09/2024: Scrivo questa recensione anche se il ristorante Le Scalelle non ne avrebbe alcun bisogno. È stata una serata perfetta. In una spaziosa veranda abbiamo mangiato molto molto bene. Pesce fresco e soprattutto cucinato con esperienza. Uno dei pochi posti in cui è finalmente buono anche il vino della casa. Rapporto qualità/prezzo correttissimo. Fosse più vicino sarei uno dei più assidui abbonati.

Accoglienza molto cordiale e garbata , tovagliato raffinato , eccellente il servizio in tavola , da personale discreto ma impeccabile . Abbiamo degustato ottimi antipasti di pesce( salmone , polpo e patate , insalata di mare) seguiti da paccheri conditi con un sughetto di rara semplicità , accompagnato da cernia . Per secondo abbiamo optato per un piatto di fritto misto di pesce , profumato e leggero . Per chiudere , sorbetto al limone , cremoso e per nulla acido . 26/12/2024: For my sister-in-law's birthday we met for lunch at this hotel in Torre Pali. A warm, clean and welcoming environment. In the large room with a spacious and expertly laid table we dined with excellent fish and good wine. The dishes are very well looked after, the atmosphere is almost family-like, the staff are dutiful and professional, the owners are kind and attentive to satisfying our every request. My experience is more than positive
