We relied on the owner's advice, who guided us with great professionalism and passion throughout the dinner, offering us a truly exceptional appetizer tasting. Each course was meticulously prepared, featuring the freshest ingredients, authentic flavors, and refined pairings. Exquisite and delicious dishes allowed us to savor the best of seafood. Special praise also goes to the attention given to our child, who made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the evening. To conclude, carefully selected and truly delicious desserts. Impeccable service, a pleasant atmosphere, and great hospitality. An experience we will fondly remember and highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy excellent seafood in Trani.

14/06/2026: A tavern with refined dishes. In addition to the dining room, they have several tables in an internal courtyard. Attentive service. We each had an appetizer and a first course. The bill for two people was €67, and everything was delicious.

22/06/2026: Excellent dishes served with care. Attentive and courteous waiters. The atmosphere—we ate on the terrace—was well-kept, but for a hot lunch, there were no fans. Although the view definitely deserves a 5-star rating, I'm not giving it just because of the heat.

14/06/2026: Honestly, the worst experience in Italy. Highly NOT recommended. The rating is clearly fake for a place with this kind of food and service. It is just unacceptably rude to speak to customers like that. And judging by the fact that the owners don’t reply to any negative reviews, they just don’t care at all.

23/07/2026: This restaurant is amazing- it would deserve a Michelin Star and you get this with a fraction of the cost. If you are a good connaisseur this place is a must try, especially their tasting menu (which in preparation, creativity and execution is sits a level higher than their amazing a la carte items). Everything is extremely well made while keeping a traditional feel. Also the service was above par. They offered for us to taste a couple of different wines they suggested (from a wide list)as they saw us undecided and they did this very happly and accommodatingly I would have give it 6 stars if I could have.

23/07/2026: My wife and I returned to Barletta after almost two years and stopped at my favorite restaurant. At Antica Cucina, I found the same atmosphere, the same excellent products, and the wonderful welcome that, every time, made me feel at home. What more can I say? A well-kept restaurant, always clean, exquisitely prepared dishes, discreet and attentive wait staff, and simply exceptional hosts! I recommend it to everyone for a business lunch or dinner, with family, for special occasions, or even, as I often did in the past, alone. Also because, in this restaurant, you're never alone; you feel welcomed like family. I thank everyone again for making us feel at home while enjoying local delicacies. See you soon!

26/06/2026: I was recommended this restaurant by friends from Basel. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I was offered a table on the spot even though the restaurant was fully booked. Raw seafood to start, followed by a pasta with sea urchin that was simply outstanding, accompanied by a Riesling from the Moselle. A fantastic meal, a truly wonderful experience! Gastronomy as it should be, absolutely professional. Thank you for a wonderful evening. I wholeheartedly recommend it! 😘

04/07/2026: The food is really good, but beware of the owner who brings you dishes you didn't order, claiming they were a taster for us to try, but then he still added them to our bill. He sold us a tasting menu we didn't ask for. Maybe I would have chosen à la carte, knowing I was eating and paying accordingly. We spent way too much, and honestly, I wouldn't go back.

18/06/2026: I just finished dinner at this wonderful place. The staff was friendly, attentive to detail, and very helpful... the fish was excellent... I don't know how else to recommend it, but if you don't come, you'd be missing out on the best. Mr. Sergio is truly a wonderful person.

07/01/2026: Aside from the price (€80 per person), the negative thing that most influenced this review was the waiter's response to the request for a discount. He said, "The discount at the supermarket." There are many ways to respond, and in a crowded place, a loud response like that wouldn't even be given in a dive... the food was good, but for that price, I'd prefer something else. P.S. After the review, I was contacted by the owner who made some strange allusions to our status. I hope he doesn't do that to everyone who goes and has a bad experience... I'm reposting the previously flagged and obscured review.
