13/04/2025: A meal at this restaurant is special. The composition of the dishes and the spices used are actually on the level of a star cuisine. In keeping with the house's motto, "Gourmet for everyone", the food is served to guests in a very unpretentious manner. We had three courses plus dessert, some to share, namely Vitellone Tonnato, then Ravioli Plin Galina and Risotto Milanese, then Kakiage, finally Sorbetto and Cioccolato Fondente. An exceptional taste in every dish on the menu. The service and atmosphere were calm and pleasant.

10/04/2025: Ristorante su via Nizza, vicino a fermata Metro Marconi. Ha un gradevole dehors tutto vetri, aperto nelle stagioni più calde. Interno con tavoli spaziosi, bianche tovaglie, stile marinaro. Menù di pesce,anche crudo, sempre fresco. Ottime materie prime, pane di loro produzione con farina di Buratto, servito ancora caldo. Prezzi onesti per la qualità. Servizio rapido e cortese. Ottimo sconto con The Fork. Noi torniamo spesso.

Sono attenti alle allergie e intolleranze e pronti a offrire consigli sul menù. La scelta è limitata al pesce fresco disponibile quindi ottima materia prima e cura nella preparazione. Ci torneremo di sicuro!

18/03/2025: Great Piedmontese cuisine from times gone by. Tidy and quiet rooms. The food is delicious and well presented on the table. The dining room staff is very kind and professional. South Tyrolean wines are fantastic. Finally, the desserts are surprising in terms of taste and originality of implementation. The bathrooms are spotless and fragrant. Very interesting final price. To return as soon as possible.

15/03/2025: A beautiful discovery! From the outside you wouldn't think so... but once you walk through the door the restaurant is very elegant, with round and spacious tables. The menu is worthy of a starred restaurant! All dishes are highly refined and particularly well structured for an exceptional culinary experience!!! A big thumbs up to Chef Giuseppe!!!

08/04/2025: I modified the return journey after a holiday, specifically to stay at La Stella (well-kept and contemporary rooms with a personal touch) and to enjoy the wonders of chef Allegranza. Excellent dinner: very high quality fish, incredible product quality, surprising preparations and combinations. Among the many things tasted: cod in divine tempura, fabulous sardines in saor, sea bass tartare, Catalan lobster, meringue with cream and wonderful beetroot sauce... and it doesn't end here! It's absolutely worth it! The room is masterfully managed by Marika and the attentive and discreet staff. I had dinner on the terrace with a beautiful view of the city and the mountains. Also highly recommended in terms of quality/price ratio. I'll be back soon.

13/04/2025: And to think that I have this restaurant a few meters from home and I have never been there in the 10 years I have been in Turin. Luckily, some friends saw fit to organize a dinner here so that I could have the opportunity to taste the fish-based delicacies that are on offer. Excellent frying, octopus turret and potatoes as well as everything else. I recommend it to everyone

13/03/2025: Intimate family dinner for a graduation. Let me start by saying that it wasn't the first time I came to eat at the Osteria del Frate. In this case we requested a variation with raw meat and, like every dish, everything was delicious. Excellent raw materials, super helpful service and exceptional quality/price. We will be back as soon as possible!

18/04/2025: Il ristorante è molto bello sia nella struttura che nelle mise en place, ineccepibile. Splendida la cantina attigua alla sala, una grande idea. Il personale è molto gentile ed attento. Purtroppo la bellezza del ristorante non viene rispecchiata nei piatti. In particolare: un panbioche tostato con le acciughe, in cui la tostatura non si sentiva per nulla e risultava molle (quando tosto il pane a casa mi viene CROCCANTE...) e una frittura troppo cotta in cui i pesci erano secchi e i calamari gommosi. Vorrei fare una considerazione sul menu. Purtroppo non abbiamo trovato molti dei piatti che sono stati immortalati nelle foto di Tripadvisor. Il menu è composto da una serie di proposte che, secondo me, cercano di emulare le cosiddette innovazioni che si possono trovare nei ristoranti milanesi. Spesso mi sono trovato a Milano a interrogarmi su come sia possibile che la cucina italiana sia diventata una delle più apprezzate al mondo, senza gli inquinamenti di ingredienti giapponesi, ormai immancabili, che gli chef di recente introducono a forza in troppi piatti. Non viene il dubbio che la cucina italiana piace perché creata con le eccellenze italiane? Posso quasi capire queste contaminazioni ed esperimenti discutibili a Milano, che è una città piena di stranieri che vi si recano per lavoro, e dove ormai è prassi che ti presentino uno spaghetto con le vongole con sopra il katsuobushi al posto della bottarga. Ma AD AZEGLIO, nel cuore della campagna piemontese, che senso ha? Consiglierei di lasciare gli ingredienti giapponesi ai Giapponesi per concentrarsi a realizzare una buona cucina italiana con piatti TRADIZIONALI fatti bene e non stracotti come la frittura che ci è stata servita.
