08/05/2026: Calling themselves half a meter pizzas made to measure, and then having pizzas delivered to your home that dance inside a takeout box with the words "this box contains happiness" written on it, is truly ironic! Let it be clear that a pizza was ordered, NOT A QUARTZ OF A LOAF (as was evidently used). Ever since the time of Pope Sixtus V in 1588, some have been playing tricks on the size of loaves and other things. Next time IN PERSON, I'll pay you with a quarter of a banknote that I'll cut before your eyes. I invite everyone to observe the new trend among some pizza makers of cutting a quarter of the original loaf to make pizza. Well done, congratulations from Zelig!

29/04/2026: I enter the pizzeria with my Maltese dogs, who, upon seeing my friends, who had already arrived, let out a few friendly barks to say hello... 30 seconds, no more. I sit down and a waiter resembling a tattooed ogre appears and begins a sort of lecture, hoping the dogs stop barking because the children are already crying, that we hadn't warned them about the dogs, and that anyone with allergies would be in trouble. He puts the cute teddy bear back in his place with a few well-placed remarks, and hands us over to a younger but above all kind colleague. We order three half-meter pizzas, all good quality in terms of dough and ingredients, but very burnt and quite expensive when it comes to the bill. It's a shame how one person's arrogance and presumption can lower the quality of a place and, yes, create a kind of allergy.

17/11/2025: It's a beautiful location, and that's the only good thing about this place. But the windows were full of flies (November). Sorry, but it's a place where you eat! The person serving us was indifferent and didn't even know which desserts were sold out. The dishes were simple; we definitely made the mistake of stopping there. We won't be returning.

20/03/2026: The place itself is nothing special. I ordered a platter and then tagliolini with scampi. The portions were generous and very good. Recommended.

05/03/2026: I went to dinner on Tuesday with a friend, and we had spaghetti with clams. It was delicious. Plenty, tasty, and the clams were spotless, not a grain of sand in them.

16/05/2026: We've been frequenting "Ragno" for several years now, every time we travel to San Benedetto from Milan... and what can I say... courtesy, politeness, and quality distinguish Simona and her family. It's home now. Roberta

12/04/2026: A small trattoria near the port, typical of San Benedetto del Tronto. The place is very cute, welcoming, and clean. We had a really good seafood risotto, cooked to perfection. The grill was delicious. For dessert, I had the berry cheesecake, and I can assure you, I've never had a dessert this good! The prices are really, really good!

11/05/2026: It's true, it's very basic, but the fish is fresh, well-prepared, and plentiful. Basically, you order at the counter, set your own table, then they call you to come and pick up your ready-made dishes, and you clear away when you're finished. It's actually a chip shop with tables for dine-in. I arrived around 7:30 PM and it filled up quickly. For two, we ordered a plate of gnocchi with shrimp, a mixed fried fish consisting of: 1 sea bass, 1 sea bass, 1 sea bream (all three small), 1 prawn, 1 scallop and fries, a large beer, and a small bottle of water. I paid the modest sum of €32. The dishes were generous, and I was surprised by the mixed fried fish, as every fish was served whole, even the small ones. They offer a wide variety of fish. For those who don't have great expectations of comfort and want to eat fresh and good, this is the place to go.

21/05/2026: I don't feel like dropping below 3 stars because the place is objectively very nice, down-to-earth, original, and traditional. However, a reality check on the prices is needed. > The appearance of the establishment and the welcoming atmosphere—informal and with a very basic explanation of the dishes—lead to the assumption that the bill will be reasonable, never exceeding €25. Instead, you'll find yourself with prices that are decidedly out of line and not appropriate for the type of place. > The food is undeniably good, but there's one drawback: the amount of gratin is truly excessive, almost as if it were trying to compensate for the portions. > A place with potential, but definitely too expensive for what it offers. >

20/05/2026: We asked for grilled scampi, and they brought us defrosted Argentine shrimp. They passed off Spanish mussels as local mussels, which was impossible because of the fishing ban. Never again.

11/04/2026: ...not a very happy experience...paid a considerable amount for an entree that consisted of a mini dish with a breaded anchovy inside...a seared tuna, a paltry grill, with company-cafeteria-style baked potatoes...service needs reviewing. Disappointed.
