15/08/2025: Passing through Varese for an appointment we found the restaurant to be a beautiful location with praiseworthy service and dishes.

10/06/2025: Very good experience in this restaurant with friendly and smiling servers! The food is excellent, the portions are adequate. We ate on the terrace where the atmosphere is really intimate. I recommend without hesitation 👍

11/10/2025: The food was absolutely fine, but as usual, no bread with olive oil was served beforehand. The service was completely unfriendly; you felt like you were supposed to leave immediately, which was also evident in the reactions of other guests. We weren't even thanked for our generous tip. We always go to the pizzeria when we visit Maccagno, but the service and friendliness have never been this bad. We're guests, whether it's peak or off-season, so you can still behave differently. What a shame 🤷‍♂️

13/09/2025: The place is very beautiful and welcoming, with tables in a small central square and very close to the lakefront. The service was impeccable and fast. I recommend the fried gnocco with Parma ham and a parmesan cream. The pizzas were delicious and the ingredients were top-quality. I recommend it and will definitely be back. September 2025 We returned with friends and they also loved the pizzas. This time we had the Grano Arso dough and I must admit it's light, digestible, and delicious. The chocolate cake is a must-try.

29/07/2025: Always one of the best places to eat a digestible pizza, and the fried fish is also very good. It's difficult to find a table without a reservation. Salvatore and his parents run it with the kindness of the Campanians.

08/10/2025: Elegant and well detailed restaurant , specialised in seafood within lobster batch at the center of dining area. Great crude seafood platter and goof wk e list .I would say a bit expensive especially for lunch time but overall very positive experience . I have tried the linguine with gambero a d nduja and they were excellent .

09/10/2025: Beautiful place! I've been to this restaurant several times, both in summer and fall. In summer, eating in the garden is a real pleasure, while in fall, the interior is elegant and welcoming. The kitchen always surprises with some unique dish!! The staff is kind and attentive, always making you feel at home ❤️ Congratulations!

21/09/2025: Stayed here one night before flying back home out of Milan airport. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room for no extra charge. Room did the trick for the one night and good proximity to the airport. We ate dinner that night at the restaurant and food was very good. The only issue was I ordered a ribeye off the menu for dinner and was served a Tbone and pretty thin at that and the filet part of the Tbone was pretty much non-existent. I didn't think much of it as I started eating but by the time the waiter came back over I was already finished. I asked him if there was a mistake or if I ordered incorrectly but he assured me this was the ribeye. I disagreed with him and pointed out the obvious T shaped bone and he said it's the same as a ribeye. I also disagreed to that statement and finally he agreed it was similar and took the plate away. It's not the end of the world but if all they had that night or week was TBone that's fine but don't try and tell me it's same as a ribeye when paying for ribeye. I wanted to give 3.5 stars but everything else was truely great with the hotel so I don't want to be too hard on them but if you're ordering off the menu keep an eye on what you're actually getting served.

08/10/2025: Good food at a reasonable price. Service a bit slow but probably because we ordered a lot of dishes so it took a while. Steak well done. Great pizzas. Excellent spaghetti bolognese.

03/09/2025: A simply perfect lunch. A Sicilian restaurant whose undisputed star is seafood; five of us went for a birthday party and had a wonderful time. The wait was pleasantly shortened by a kindly offered entree. Both the first and second courses we ordered were excellent; the availability of off-menu dishes depending on the availability of the day's catch was also appreciated. To round things off, the typical Sicilian desserts were amazing. The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful, thanks in part to the restaurant's limited seating capacity. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Not a single glitch occurred during our entire stay. We'll definitely be back!

21/09/2025: It appears upscale but is still intimate and charming. Great view, very attentive staff. A very, very large selection. The menu is also available in German. The pizza was delicious. The price is reasonable for the location and the quality. Thanks for a lovely evening!

03/08/2025: My husband and I often come here for dinner. The food is truly excellent, with a varied and often changing menu. The ingredients are top-quality, and the dishes are not predictable. Very friendly staff, and the summer (outdoor) and winter (indoor) areas are beautiful and welcoming! Highly recommended!

21/09/2025: My husband had meat and really enjoyed it, I had the fried mixed fish, which I found rather bland and don't like the head still attached...but that's just my thing. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and right on the water.

19/09/2025: The pizzas and Caprese salad were very good. Excellent value for money. I would eat there again in a heartbeat. It's wonderful to stroll along the lake. What annoyed me personally was the constant lurking around, clearing away everything that was no longer needed or empty, but I was still eating. One star less for that.

02/09/2025: I had spaghetti with clams and perch... Delicious spaghetti, good perch, but poorly presented on the plate. The service was too fast, like being in a cafeteria. One dish after another. We reached the cafeteria in an hour before we even noticed.

04/10/2025: It was 7:30 on a Saturday evening, and the town streets were deserted. But when I opened the restaurant door, wow! Every seat was packed, with a dozen people still waiting. In Italy, the culinary kingdom, if the locals are lining up for a restaurant, it has to be good. I ordered the Agaricus blazei (agaricus) pizza, and it was bursting with flavor. The cheese must be the secret to its deliciousness. I've been to many cities, and this is undoubtedly the best pizza I've ever had!
