22/02/2026: Best Discovery during Winter olimpics games in Milan! It happened to me to get there quite often and it's been a blast! Everyday a different menu but God it's Always good! Great food, great service and the best vibes. Thanks to luca and Martina, Always smiling and welcoming people. I Wish i had more spots like this in Paris! 21/02/2026: I went to this restaurant for a business lunch with a colleague. I chose it myself, intrigued by the numerous social media posts from friends raving about it. The atmosphere is certainly pleasant and refined, although I found it a bit too dark for lunch. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by the service. The welcome was cold and unfriendly; the waitress literally dropped (I'd almost say threw) the menus on the table, saying there were only two portions of gnocchi available. After about thirty seconds, she returned, rather hastily asking what we had chosen. Even when I asked for the wine list, the tone remained unprofessional and hasty, with a decidedly impolite "So, have you chosen?" For a place that presents itself as refined and exclusive on social media, I would have expected a very different level of customer service. We chose two fairly standard dishes: nothing particularly memorable. I was particularly disappointed with the cutlet, which in the Instagram photos looks much more inviting and refined than the one served at the table. Overall, the restaurant conveys an image of exclusivity and sophistication on social media, but the actual experience was more like that of a touristy trattoria, with sluggish service. A real shame, because my expectations were definitely high.

25/02/2026: I tried Pescetto on Via Alessandro Volta in Milan, intrigued by the market-style format that is undoubtedly the restaurant's distinctive feature. Here, the experience begins at the fish counter: you stop, browse the catch of the day, and choose what to buy. Once you've decided, the fish is cooked on the spot. The idea is simple and works: it's reminiscent of a seafood market rather than a traditional restaurant, creating an informal, direct, almost playful atmosphere. It starts with the raw ingredients and builds the meal around what catches the eye. The fish is good, fresh, and well-prepared. This is the main reason it's worth coming here: when the ingredients are good, it doesn't take much to leave satisfied. The cooking methods are generally correct and respectful of the product, without over-elaboration. The food is good and has a sense of authenticity. The fried food is less convincing, not reaching the same level as the rest. It's not bad, but it lacks that dry, light crunchiness that would make it stand out. It's still acceptable, but it's probably the dish with room for improvement. The counter selection system has a positive aspect—you can see and select what you'll eat—but it also has a small flaw: it's not exactly easy to understand the portions. More than once, I've ordered too much, caught up in the excitement of the moment. It's probably also a personal issue, but a little more guidance on quantities would help avoid excesses and better manage the final cost. The value for money, overall, is good. It's not cheap in the absolute sense, but given the type of product and the freshness offered, it's within a reasonable range. You pay for what you choose, which makes everything fairly transparent. The wine list is the least interesting aspect: a rather limited selection and no truly memorable labels. You'll find the necessary to accompany the meal, but those who enjoy fine wines will be hard-pressed to find any exciting wines. It's a functional accompaniment, not a strong point. In summary: good seafood, a fun and informal market-style format, and a fair value for money. Some limitations on the fried food and a wine selection that could be improved prevent full enthusiasm, but it remains a good place for simple, straightforward seafood. Recommended. Good for satisfying a fish craving, although the overall experience doesn't leave a lasting impression.

21/02/2026: We have visited multiple times over the last two weeks while here in Milan for the Winter Olympic Games. It became our number one go too place for food due to the creative flavours, diversity of available food including gluten free and the lovely staff. Everyone was very welcoming and even if they didn’t speak much English very enthusiastic about service. It was lovely seeing them interact with their regulars. We will miss the comfy cafe restaurant vibe that even when busy and on the noisy side is still a calm atmosphere. Many thanks for having my sister dad and I during this time, for all the delicious food, funny conversations and always being inviting even when rushed off your feet. See below some food snaps.

22/12/2025: A good and pleasant experience at La Scaletta. Elegant location, excellent, attentive, and friendly service. The menu isn't extensive, but it has a few select dishes. The squid appetizer was excellent. The calamari was tasty (the pasta was slightly al dente).

12/12/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by the service, the friendliness, the quiet atmosphere despite the size, they should pay more attention to not blacken the pizza crusts, good value for money, I will return.

23/02/2026: I'm sorry to have to write this review, especially since I've always appreciated the quality of the pizza, which I consider truly excellent and which has led me to frequent the restaurant on several occasions. Unfortunately, however, I cannot ignore what I personally witnessed regarding hygiene and food safety management. In particular, I witnessed with my own eyes a scene that I consider extremely serious: a bitter liqueur served at the table, half drunk by the customer, was not thrown away but returned, and the remaining portion was returned to the bitter liqueur freezer, presumably to be reused for another customer. Such behavior, besides being ethically unacceptable, violates the most basic food safety standards and seriously calls into question the respect for customer health. Added to this are other incidents, such as hair on plates, which unfortunately reinforce the perception of poor hygiene. I'm truly sorry to write this, because the pizza deserves it, but the quality of the product cannot compensate for such serious shortcomings in food safety management. I sincerely hope that management will carry out the necessary checks and intervene concretely.

08/03/2026: Sunday lunch on Women's Day. The place was packed, with short wait times and delicious food. We ate excellent first and second courses, but I repeat, without any wait despite the crowds. Excellent value for money. Compliments to the Tradizionale.

14/03/2026: Excellent restaurant serving dishes made with high-quality ingredients. The fish dishes and risottos are delicious, and the homemade desserts are also excellent! An Italian restaurant worth a visit! Perfect service and fair prices. Well done!

19/02/2026: Terrible service and food. We asked twice if it's OK to dine in (it was Saturday night around 10'o clock) and they reassured us that we can stay. The restaurant closed at 12'o clock. They forced us to eat our dishes in 10 minutes and they started mocking us because we were tourists and they thought we were idiots and simultaneously they were cleaning the restaurant, turning off the lights and the TV. The food was also terrible. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Lack of kindness and professionalism.

21/01/2026: We tried both the meat dishes and the pizza, both excellent. Generous portions, quick and attentive service. Friendly staff, and the takeout service is also very convenient. More than fair prices. Recommended!

02/01/2026: Il Faro Restaurant outdid itself on the evening of December 31st. We celebrated the end of the year with excellent food and impeccable service. The music kept us entertained all evening, and the price was well-deserved at €75. Highly recommended.

25/01/2026: A location surrounded by greenery, on the banks of the Ticino River, a refined and elegant atmosphere... a table in front of the fireplace... Excellent food! Delicious creamed cod!! Excellent risotto and a "special" millefeuille dessert!! We'll be back; I think the landscape will definitely add an extra touch to this beautiful place, which is already truly welcoming! Thank you

17/02/2026: Delicious. Service was attentive. We were seated without a reservation (at 9 p.m., in the middle of the Winter Olympics), and the restaurant was packed—we were lucky. We had risotto, spaghetti with shells, and tuna tartare—every dish was mouthwatering. For two, with a bottle of Sauvingon Blanc, the bill came to 110 euros. But it was very, very delicious!!!
