04/05/2026: Review for the restaurant only. We're talking about excellence here. The location and atmosphere were stunning, and all the dishes were exquisite and superbly presented. We opted for the duo of lake trout and culatta as appetizers, calamarata for the first course, and duck breast and char for the second course; crème brûlée and tiramisu to finish. Prices commensurate with the quality and location. Highly recommended.

26/04/2026: Beautiful location with very good service. The view and atmosphere are excellent. Also, surprisingly, the Acqua Panna was €4 cheaper than in an average restaurant in Bulgaria, such as Mr. Pizza. A very pleasant experience overall.

02/05/2026: As luck would have it, after visiting Villa Fogazzaro we called the Crotto to ask if there was room for four 😽 ...it was after 1:00 PM, so we weren't expecting much, but fate would have it that, due to a last-minute cancellation, we ended up here. Congratulations on the food, the service, and the bucolic location. You deserve a 5⭐ and we'll definitely be back to enjoy a few kilos of meat 😸

03/05/2026: Comfortable place, excellent service, kind and helpful staff, they have lactose-free milk, it's a rare thing to find this, great price, in the parking lot they have 2 spaces for charging electric cars, you can pay in several ways, they don't touch the money with your hands because they have a machine that sucks up the notes and throws out the change, excellent solution, the only flaw is at 8 in the morning only three types of croissants, otherwise I recommend it.

The dough is light and easy to digest, with high-quality ingredients that you can taste in every bite. The variety of options ranges from classic flavors to more sophisticated combinations. • The Service: One of our strong points. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and fast, without ever being intrusive. They make you feel right at home. • The Atmosphere: The restaurant is well-kept and the atmosphere is pleasant, ideal for both a family dinner and an evening with friends. The quality/price ratio is very fair for the quality offered. I will definitely be back, highly recommended!

28/04/2026: I'm sorry it didn't live up to my expectations... my husband and I had been wanting to go there for 10 years. We ordered pizza and fish soup. My husband's pizza arrived, and 15 minutes later my soup. I was there watching him eat and vice versa afterwards... they apologized. The fish soup lacked kick. Excellent dessert.

We've been coming to Lake Lugano for many years and have spent countless wonderful evenings at Taverna. The team does outstanding work with impressive consistency.

23/01/2026: Got into this place unexpectedly, so we didn't have a reservation. However the staff has found a nice place for us. The dinner was fabulous: fresh products, excellent blend of tastes. The dishes were served quickly. This restaurant is an exceptional combination of delicious food, service, fantastic venue with a lake view and overall good atmosphere. We didn't try their wine selection though, but I believe it will be worth your attention 😉

03/05/2026: Really good food, excellent restaurant, the only flaw in my opinion is that animals shouldn't be allowed in a restaurant, then it's not up to me to decide anyway, everything is really very exceptional, even the beer which in some places is terrible but at Lucky everything is perfect ♥️

Right by the side of the lake, great service and food that will not be the most amazing in your life, but that is correct. 09/04/2026: We visited this restaurant and were left with mixed feelings. On the one hand, the pizza was truly delicious—exactly the kind you'd expect to try when visiting as a tourist. Initially, we were served the restaurant's main menu, but knowing from reviews that they had Italian pizza, we inquired—and only then were we given a separate pizza menu. Unfortunately, the service left a bad taste. We noticed that guests ordering dishes from the main menu received much more attention: the waitress and the chef himself visited regularly—they asked about their impressions, chatted, and created a caring atmosphere. In our case, things were different. After we placed our order, almost no one approached us again. No one asked if we were satisfied or offered anything extra. After we finished our meal, we had to wait about 15 minutes to pay the bill, but no one came. In the end, we had to find a waitress ourselves. In conclusion, the cuisine is top-notch, and the pizza is truly worthy of attention. However, the service, unfortunately, is significantly inferior, leaving the impression that guests are treated differently depending on their order.
