10/03/2026: We dined at Hosteria Croce d'Oro in Desenzano del Garda with six of us and had a wonderful time. We ordered a variety of first and second courses, all meat-based. The venison stew and braised beef were truly excellent, very flavorful and well-cooked. You can taste the quality of the cuisine and the attention to tradition. We accompanied our dinner with wine, water, and dessert at the end. The total bill was around €200 for six of us, so it was a truly good value for what we ate. A special mention also goes to the wait staff: knowledgeable, attentive, and very friendly throughout the evening. If you're looking for a trattoria where you can eat well in Desenzano del Garda, Hosteria Croce d'Oro is definitely an excellent choice. We'll gladly return.

13/10/2025: An unforgettable fairytale wedding 💫 We got married on October 4th in this splendid location, and thanks to the more than favorable weather, we were able to use the speedboat, have an aperitif, and cut the cake in the outdoor garden, and everything was perfect! At the table, everything was in the right place, everything was as we'd agreed upon. I must say we have no negatives to report. We even slept on the premises with some of our guests, and waking up was beautiful too!! Massimo and Ottavio are truly two professionals in the field, and it shows in their proposals that they know how to do it—well done! One thing that left us very happy and satisfied was the fact that all 100 guests, without exception, had a wonderful time and ate quality food. Considering that we brought together two families with different cultures, it was truly an immense joy to make all our guests happy and spend our special day with them there. Thank you, Sara and Stefano ❤️ We will definitely celebrate our future celebrations there!

12/10/2025: We chose this restaurant for our wedding and couldn't have made a better choice! The food was exceptional, enjoyed by all the guests, and the staff was always kind, friendly, and attentive. Despite the somewhat unpredictable weather, with alternating sun and rain, they were impeccable in adapting to the situation, managing everything quickly and professionally. The location, right on the lake, made it all even more magical. Highly recommended!

14/03/2026: We were in the area and went in after reading the many positive reviews. I hope mine can help others choose this restaurant. I was really pleased. The atmosphere is elegant, with pleasant background music. The service was attentive and friendly. The highlight is the food. Truly delicious. We tried the house carbonara, and I absolutely recommend it; it was delicious. For the kids, we had the cutlet. They ate it all, so I'd say that's a good one too. I'd gladly return. Recommended.

27/01/2026: Every time, a great surprise! The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, the staff is always kind and courteous, and they know how to put you at ease. The food…what can I say…superlative! This time we were tempted by the "classics" tasting menu…six fantastic courses! In addition to the menu, they bring a small appetizer to start and a small pastry dessert to finish. Our dessert menu didn't include the mushroom pictured, but I wanted to try it, so I changed my plans!! Recommended wine based on the menu, which was also perfect! It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience! Congratulations!!!

Ristorante Pizzeria La Bussola is the perfect location for an unforgettable lunch or dinner, especially thanks to the splendid lake view that creates a magical and relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent (a well-deserved five stars), with carefully prepared dishes and fresh, quality ingredients. We greatly appreciated the speed and courtesy of the service: the staff is exceptional, always attentive to our needs without being intrusive. Special praise goes to the friendliness and hospitality of the entire management team, who make you feel at home from the first moment. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for high quality in an enchanting setting!

23/10/2025: We stopped for a light lunch during our trip around Lake Garda. We were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking, but I especially loved the service. Michele, the waiter, is empathetic and charming. I highly recommend this place.

29/12/2025: A charming hotel with every comfort and meticulous attention to detail. The rooms are spacious (we stayed in a triple room with my family), spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff is professional, efficient, and incredibly friendly (special thanks to Raffaele, who welcomed us and answered some of our questions). Attached to the hotel is an excellent restaurant offering both delicious fish and meat dishes (we even had lunch there on Christmas Day, with a very extensive special menu at a reasonable price). Highly recommended.

17/12/2025: Baia del Vento is fantastic! Dining al fresco with a lake view in the evening is breathtaking and incredibly relaxing—a true vacation atmosphere. The fish is incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked, and the pizza is excellent. The service is friendly and fast, and the outdoor tables are top notch. A perfect place to enjoy a relaxing evening. Definitely worth a visit again, highly recommended!

07/03/2026: A truly terrible experience from every perspective. The four of us ordered two tasting menus for €45 per person, one fish and one meat, expecting a menu consistent with what was listed on the menu. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. The fish tasting platter for two (€90) arrived as a huge, showy plate filled almost exclusively with raw fruit and vegetables (even raw cauliflower), evidently used for bulk. The fish was practically nonexistent: two shrimp, half a lobster, a small piece of octopus, and a few mussels each. Essentially, €90 for a nearly empty plate, with more raw side dishes than fish. The meat tasting menu was also disappointing. The menu clearly indicated a selection of cured meats and gnocco fritto as an appetizer, and about 1 kg of Florentine steak per person. In the end, we only received one Florentine steak, weighing about 1.1 kg in total, to be shared between the two of us, exactly half of what was listed. When offering tasting menus at these prices, you at least expect consistency between what's described and what's served. Between the small portions, the plates filled with unreasonable side dishes, and the obvious discrepancies with the menu, the impression was simply that we were paying a lot for very little. Honestly, one of the worst value-for-money experiences we've ever had.

15/02/2026: We visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day. The food and atmosphere were excellent, the prices were in line with a seafood restaurant and not excessively high, and there was a wide variety of both meat and seafood options! The atmosphere was magical, with the saxophonist playing in the background... I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner if you're in the area!

21/02/2026: We stumbled upon this splendid restaurant by chance, slightly tucked away from the main street. We were immediately captivated by the aroma wafting from the alleyway. A welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. The small number of tables is a testament to the attention to detail and customer service. The food was delicious; we tried the trio of first courses, with sophisticated, original, and well-balanced combinations. The real highlight was the dessert that truly impressed us: exceptional tiramisu and semifreddo. We highly recommend stopping by; you won't regret it; we'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

21/02/2026: I took my daughter out for pizza for a friend's birthday. There were six of us, thinking we were on the safe side. We've been getting pizza there for years, both dine-in and takeout. But all six of us had a stomach ache all night, and our takeout order was truly awful, both in terms of ingredients and dough. I hate to write this review, but the pizza has been going downhill for a while. As for the first and second courses, I can't comment because I haven't had them. Except for Christmas Eve dinner on December 31st, but I won't comment because it doesn't even deserve a single star. Guys, do something to improve, and we'll definitely be back.

16/02/2026: Typical cuisine, with a modern and elegant twist, generous portions, from Montisola sardines with polenta, to risotto with quail, beef in oil, cod on squid ink puree.... desserts... a delicious and enjoyable dinner. Also interesting is the occasional menu change, which unfortunately few restaurants do. Beautiful entrance (restaurant hidden in a lovely courtyard). Simple, essential room, no frills, but very interesting cuisine.
