28/08/2025: We would also like to publicly thank the "Da Osvaldo" restaurant in Portese, San Felice del Benaco. We've known this special place for two years, both for its hospitality and its fortunate geographical location. Frequenting the lakeside promenade in Portese has led us to indulge in this exceptional cuisine. The diverse dishes prepared with age-old expertise are combined with discreet elegance and impeccable service. Especially in the garden directly on the shores of Lake Garda, overlooking Salò and Gardone, you're immersed in the rejuvenating nature of the place. An experience worth trying and repeating. Congratulations to the owners and all the staff.

30/07/2025: In the heart of Rivoltella, there's a small "Ristorantino" perfect for any occasion, "Trattoria dall'Abate." The restaurant is well-maintained, the wait staff is very friendly, and the food is perfectly balanced...EXCELLENT! Inviting, plentiful dishes, short wait times... just make a reservation to avoid being left empty-handed. The menu reflects the owner, Paolo, who is in love with the sea and the lake. The fish arrives fresh every day from his own fishmonger, and the company's philosophy is healthy, traditional cuisine and quality ingredients. By reservation, you can find your favorite dish, as I did this evening, and enjoy it with an excellent glass of wine, perhaps local. I think I've said it all... Oops! The price?!? Average, no strange surprises. Now all you have to do is try it!!!

05/09/2025: We had the pleasure of visiting Izé Restaurant on two special occasions: the first to celebrate a birthday, the second for our wedding anniversary. On both occasions, what we experienced went far beyond a simple dinner: a perfect combination of hospitality, cuisine, and elegance. The service deserves special mention: attentive, punctual, and never intrusive. Every gesture is carefully crafted and professional, always accompanied by sincere cordiality. During our first visit, the chef introduced himself by remembering the dishes we had chosen, a rare detail that demonstrates a truly extraordinary dedication and sensitivity. The cuisine is extraordinary: each dish tells a story of research, balance, and creativity. It's not just a meal, but a gastronomic experience crafted with skill and passion, capable of surprising and engaging all the senses. The quality is undoubtedly high, even in terms of price, but every aspect—from the quality of the ingredients to the presentation of the dishes, from the attentive service to the refined ambience—fully justifies the investment. The staff, without exception, stands out for their professionalism, expertise, and genuine kindness, making guests the center of a memorable experience. 08/09/2025: Very friendly staff who do their best to offer the best possible experience. We were seated at a table overlooking the kitchen, as we requested, and they offered half portions so we could try more of the à la carte dishes. The sbernia is delicious. Unfortunately, the pasta cooked in bladders had cooking issues; one part was cooked al dente while the other was still raw. Having seen the cooking technique firsthand—that is, all the bladders cook together without any distinguishing marks—it only takes a lapse in attention to get the cooking time wrong. We visited Lido 84 a few years ago; this problem may have been resolved by now.

04/09/2025: The new management has opted for a new pizza dough, which in my opinion has made them less fragrant and, again in my opinion, slightly less filling. As for service, they've maintained the same attitude as the previous management: a sort of pressure on those who don't eat, to leave as quickly as possible. This is quite hostile considering it's a very large establishment. Despite all this, in addition to fast service, they're currently "competitive" on prices, with the exception, for example, of a small bottle of house wine, which costs €6, considering the quality, is exaggerated.

29/08/2025: It was a great experience! I was lucky enough to be assigned a table by the lake. The view was amazing and the night was beautiful. The lovely woman at the door greeted me warmly, though I didn't get her name. I'm so grateful to her! The waiters, Newm and Mudy, were also very friendly and attentive. The tiramisu was delicious, the Aperol Spritz was also tasty, and the gnocchi were also delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try!

19/07/2025: Everythimg was good: relaxed yet stylish atmosphere, good music (not too loud), nice people, cool renewed osteria. And the food? Excellent, some classic dishes with super nice presentations, nice cooking/crafts, and wonderful tastes. Very nice wine list too. Skip the touristy water-front places, and get something entirely different here, at better prices.

19/07/2025: Great restaurant slightly further back from the promenade but with a charismatic head chef who is hands on and engaging with his diners. The food is excellent with a smart and relaxed feel to the restaurant. When the place gets busy, it feels like the staff get a little flustered so hopefully in peak season there is more support. Otherwise I can’t fault their help and insight to local wine and food recommendations.
