06/09/2025: Disastrous experience We arrived at 7:00 PM and asked for grilled sea bass for my wife and spaghetti for myself. After an hour, nothing had arrived, so we got up to leave. The restaurant owner, not only didn't apologize, but also charged us for water, wine, and a cover charge. Rude waiters, terrible service. Absolutely not recommended!!!

06/09/2025: The food was good; the tiramisu was the best we've ever eaten. The staff was very uninterested and at times unfriendly. The restaurant is too touristy and quite expensive.

26/04/2025: Locale direttamente sul lago, peccato però che dall'interno non tutti i tavoli hanno la possibilità di godersi del panorama..piatti ben cucinato con l'utilizzo di una buona materia prima..servizio super attento al cliente..rapporto qualità prezzo leggermente sbilanciato verso l'alto....consigliato.

02/06/2025: Spinti dalle recensioni positive abbiamo scelto questo ristorante per un pranzo domenicale in visita dalle parti del lago di Garda. Tutto decisamente ottimo, dagli antipasti (abbiamo preso un tris di tartare di pesce) al primo consigliato dallo chef, rigorosamente a base di pesce. Nota di merito anche per il dolce, fresco e fatto in casa. Servizio preciso, consigli accurati sulla scelta del vino e dei piatti. Qualità-prezzo molto buona avendo mangiato pesce fresco: un antipasto, due primi, due dolci e una bottiglia di vino per 55€ a testa.

15/05/2025: Pranzo di lavoro a 18€ con a scelta anche piatti di pesce; bello e accogliente il locale, personale gentile, tovagliato di tessuto, ottimi i paninetti di vari gusti serviti tiepidi.

08/09/2025: What more could you want? Sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view over Lake Iseo and the evening with a truly delicious meal and wine. The service was attentive and good. This restaurant and hotel are on my list of favorites for when we're in the area again.

23/08/2025: I chose this place from the photos, by chance, while looking for a restaurant in the center of Desenzano for lunch on a rainy day. We entered this magical space, which is covered but feels like an outdoor dining area. It's meticulously designed, with a rustic yet refined feel. We ordered gnocchi alla sorrentina and a seafood first course with fresh pasta. The rating was...fair. The gnocchi were good, bathed in a very flavorful sauce, but with very little mozzarella, not blending in with the rest, as the recipe calls for. However, with the delicious bread they offer and all that delicious sauce, I made endless mopping up the sauce. The seafood first course was apparently good, perhaps a little too oily. Then I ordered grilled vegetables, but—probably my mistake—I expected them to be already seasoned. Instead, they arrive freshly grilled (grilled vegetables disgust me when they're hot) and with salt and oil on the side. Oh well... I was dreaming of those delicious side dishes with garlic and parsley, cold and flavorful (I think they could be made both ways and let the customer choose how they like them, but hot and plain absolutely not; freshly seasoned hot vegetables are truly awful). Then I had a crème caramel that seemed homemade, and I really enjoyed it. The service was efficient and very friendly. The bill was a bit steep, in my opinion, compared to the food. The ambiance, in my opinion, is the restaurant's strong point.

17/08/2025: We dined at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The outdoor seating is located in a charming courtyard. The dishes are generous and of excellent quality. I recommend the tagliolini with pesto ragù; they are truly excellent.

12/09/2025: We stayed there for a week. Balcony room with a lake view. The room was very nice and clean. A bit lacking storage space in the bathroom, but otherwise excellent. Breakfast was okay, but we didn't like the scrambled eggs. You could have breakfast on the terrace right on Lake Garda, which was great. Location was fantastic. The pool was small and narrow, but comfortable. Very friendly service. Highly recommended

09/09/2025: Fabulous location. Great room on same floor as pool. Bonus! Only quibble being a twin was requested and we had a double. Didnt ask for a change, just put up with sharing with my mate. Not first time. No lift, though wasn't an issue for me. Lakeside so wonderful views. Didn't use restaurant but breakfast was great, changed it up daily to keep it interesting. Options of fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, bacon, eggs, hams, cheeses etc etc. Ferry stop right outside which is convenient but also causes huge queues. I would stay again in a heart beat.

25/03/2025: Siamo capitati in questo ristorante di lunedì sera un po’ per caso ed è stata una piacevole scoperta! Il ristorante ha una piccola ma bella terrazza vista lago ed è molto familiare. Dopo poco ci siamo subito resi conto di aver fatto una buona scelta perché era frequentato da gente del posto, per niente turistico. Abbiamo ordinato Risotto all’Amarone (x2), branzino spadellato alla mediterranea, ma il piatto che più ci è piaciuto è il Luccio alla gardesana. Era davvero ottimo!! I secondi accompagnati da un buon calice di Lugana. Consigliamo questo ristorante per una buona cena dai sapori locali. Prezzo medio a persona 50-60€

17/03/2025: Wir waren mit acht Personen hier, um meinen Geburtstag nachzufeiern. Wir haben uns voll und ganz auf den Chef verlassen und uns auf seinen Menuvorschlag eingelassen. Eine fantastische Entscheidung. Ein gelungener Abend mit Antipasti, Risotto, Kürbisravioli, Fiorentina-Steak sowie verschiedenen Desserts. Toller Service der zu 100% gepasst hat. Alle Freunde waren begeistert, der Preis mehr als fair und wir werden wiederkommen. Lieben Dank noch einmal. Eine echte Empfehlung.

14/06/2025: We went there for dinner with another family. The staff was friendly, the food was okay, but the portions were rather small. It wasn't good value for money. It was our most expensive dinner of the week, so unfortunately it wasn't good enough, but it was still okay.

29/05/2025: We had an Aperol Spritz and a Cannoncini, both very reasonably priced. They also offered free snacks like chips, nachos, dip, and olives. I got a very positive impression 👍🏻

26/08/2025: Excellent lunch in the company of old friends, a spectacular lake view, welcomed and looked after by a manager named Graziano, a friendly Neapolitan boy, excellent quality fish dishes, accompanied by an exquisite focaccia made with Neapolitan-style dough ... you must try the pizza...

But now, unfortunately, the criticism: The homemade lasagna consisted of cheese with lasagna sheets and even more cheese. Unfortunately, it was inedible. The pizza was edible, but unfortunately, nothing more. The crust looked promising, but it was very soggy. The topping was also very mozzarella-heavy. Overall, the taste and texture weren't for us. You pay inside at the checkout, which is okay, but we were ultimately glad to leave the restaurant. It was our last time here.

24/06/2025: Before entering I ask some customers who were leaving how the food was and they tell me GOOD Work lunch break I order a very low quality carbonara, overcooked pasta with very thin spaghetti probably size 3, bacon if you could call it that and an egg half scrambled like an omelette and half raw very disturbing on the table there is no bread or condiments but you already find still and sparkling hot water and a bottle of sealed red wine of very low quality like tavernello When it is time to pay the bill I am asked for €14 as if I had consumed a full menu but I have not consumed the second course or the side dish or even the dessert which is usually all included in the fixed menu I point this out to the cashier but he does not want to listen to reason the price is €14 whether you eat it all or not after having contested the price I am asked for €12 without a receipt and here we have to talk about it at which point I say that I would have paid the fixed price of €14 because I wanted to pay by credit card and I wanted the my receipt as it should be In the end, with much annoyance, the gentleman who takes care of the cash register makes me pay my €12, very annoyed A piece of heartfelt advice: Think carefully before stopping to eat at this OSTERIA!!!!

12/06/2025: Recommended by a friend of mine about a year ago, and since I would be in the area the next day, I booked a table. I ordered a fish menu (40€), and a business lunch. For those who want to eat a lot and fill their stomachs with low-quality food, this place is ideal. The only good things were the shrimp from the fish grill, a good sparkling white house wine, strawberries with cream and lemon sorbet. For the other foods, let's forget about it. The business lunch included a dessert buffet. I took the first dessert. I got to the table, sat down, looked at it and saw that there were about ten ants circling around it. The waitress apologized and then I went to get another dessert from the buffet counter. Before taking the dessert I looked at it and saw no ants. I got to the table, sat down, cut the dessert and tried to lift the first bite with my fork, and again saw two more ants. Once again the waitress apologized and told me that she would bring me the cut dessert directly from the kitchen. I ate it, but like almost all the dishes they brought us before, the dessert was also of poor quality.
