Here in Gargnano, at this trattoria, the food is better than the average restaurant around Lake Garda. Meticulously prepared and fresh, with carefully selected toppings, a short but seasonal menu, and everything served in a comfortable setting. Highlights include the off-menu pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and the tender, melt-in-the-mouth, flavorful beef fillet with a side of sautéed zucchini. The desserts are all homemade, delicate and flavorful: the chocolate tart with a warm chocolate center, crème brûlée, and the nougat parfait are top-notch. The Franciacorta wine list is noteworthy, and all at average prices with superior overall quality. A hearty, mostly light meal prepared with passion.

Great food with very friendly service! That's top-notch. The only downside is that the portions are very, very small. I'm not a big eater, but after exercising, it was too little for me. The price seemed reasonable, but considering the portion sizes, it's rather disappointing.

Everything was perfect – especially the steak tartare and the gnocchi. The ingredients are fresh and prepared with great care. The portions are intentionally a bit smaller, in true Italian style – so you can enjoy primi, secondi, and maybe even dessert without stuffing yourself with the homemade gnocchi. 😉 The reviews about the small portions initially put us off a little – luckily, we went anyway! The service is also exceptionally friendly and attentive – there's a good reason we've been back several times!

Very friendly, attentive service. The food is a bit more expensive than in other restaurants, but also more exquisite. Homemade and special. The seating is lovely on a beautifully lit terrace in a small alley. Even inside is very comfortable in bad weather.

06/05/2026: It's impossible to stroll around the city center and not be struck by the charm of this place. We decide to stop. After sitting us down, they bring us the menu. From there on, it's a total debacle. Not because of the food, which is truly excellent, but because of the management, which I would describe as "not particularly organized." After a half-hour wait, they finally take our order and apologize for the wait. After another 30 minutes, they bring us the wine we ordered, saying they'd bring the ice bucket right away. They return after 15 minutes... Finally, the food begins to arrive: Everything is excellent! Naturally, we forgo dessert and liqueur to avoid another hour of waiting and head straight to the cash register, where we find a girl asking for the menu. They reply, "We'll bring it to you," and the girl replies, "We're in a hurry, we can't wait another hour." Therefore, this restaurant is highly recommended only to those who aren't in the slightest hurry and who know how to avoid getting "tangled up" over some "poor service."

29/04/2026: We went there for lunch. €15 for a three-course meal including water, wine, and an espresso. And it tasted great, too. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.
26/04/2026: The pizza was delicious, but also the fish appetizer, which was a one-course meal, highly recommended, excellent service.
