02/01/2025: Simple restaurant on the beach with tables outside with a great view of the sea. Helpful and friendly managers.
The first courses can be eaten but the quality is quite low for a restaurant. The pasta was overcooked, the condiments were not very tasty and there was little fish inside.
The price is quite honest.
Overall the experience was pleasant due to the setting by the sea but the food was not particularly good.
14/12/2024: Pasta with tomato sauce: the sauce seems like from a tomato concentrate ima can bought in the supermarket. The spaghetti, don’t know where they found this poor quality pasta. Ok, 8 eur is a good price but it’s worth 1 EUR

10/03/2025: Hi, I ate at Dick Turpin and I ate well, the service was sufficient, it was a shame about the plastic bottle of water. An advice if you give water, bring it in a glass bottle and an advice for the rest. I ate very well. The paccheri were very good. The guys on the staff were very very kind and professional. I hope to return.

21/12/2024: We have been to Diego many times in all his places because it is a certainty.
Unrivaled value for money, an excellent selection of wines and an intimate atmosphere that is not easily replicated: an absolute must try!!!
21/12/2024: Modern restaurant in the center of Bordighera Alta. Varied and variable menu in case of intolerances, very good and prepared with good quality ingredients. Friendly and helpful table staff and owner. Clean and well heated rooms. Ample parking about 200m from the venue.

Patate al forno immangiabili)
Mia moglie strangolapreti panna prosciutto e funghi(pasta al dentista ossia dura cubi di prosciutto 3 cm di lato in un lago di panna con champignon in scatola)
Tutto sommato non ritornerò
31/03/2025: Grazie a questo posto ho potuto avere a che fare col cameriere più fuori luogo della mia vita e aver assaggiato le rostelle più mal cucinate ( bruciate ) e piene di grasso che abbia mai mangiato

20/10/2024: A cena con amici siamo andati in questo ristorante,la pioggia ci ha impedito di mangiare fuori,abbiamo ordinato piatti a base di pesce che ci hanno soddisfatto.Servizio rapido,personale disponibile e cordiale,prezzi buoni.AOttimo anche per pizze.

03/09/2024: The food was good. But nothing special. The waitress was charming and very friendly. Unfortunately, the Padrone reacted rudely when ordering, when 6 or 4 of us ordered food at 2 p.m. when the restaurant was almost empty. He thought we didn't understand him. Afterwards we ordered some parmesan to go with gnocchi al pesto, which is never a problem in Italian restaurants. After asking three times, the waitress apologized, it was clear that she wasn't allowed to bring anyone!! We wanted 6 more loungers and 3 parasols, but unfortunately not anymore. And we won't set foot in it for the next two weeks! I then tried to communicate with the boss, but she didn't want to see anything. She even allowed herself to be denied in advance as boss.
Coperto was of course billed for 6! What a shame!☹️
01/09/2024: Dimanche en famille avant la rentrée la plage est belle et le matériel propre, par contre nous avons dû retourner tous nos plats de poisssos les frito misto ainsi qu une assiette de mélange de poisson car tout était simplement pas frais.
J’ai bien sentie une odeur bizarre qui m’a un peu inquiété comme un genre de marée pas propre ou de toilettes sales vous voyez le genre !
Du coup appréhension, mais l’instinct ne trompe jamais c’était immangeable !
On fini par faire goûter au serveur mais lui trouve cela normal ce goût de pas frais mélangé à du parfum…
Bref on a fini avec des spaghettis à la tomate histoire de ne pas être malade 🤢
Conclusion ça nous a bien gâché la journée c’est la fin de la saison et ils veulent peut être vider leurs frigos et cette mauvaise foi c’est pas possible, bien sur ils ne nous ont pas facturé.

23/02/2025: Attratto dal nome Napul'e' ho scelto di andare in questo posto dove di Napoli e della cucina napoletana ha veramente niente iniziando dal personale, e proseguendo dall'ambiente e infine ahimè dalla cucina .
Polpo alla griglia(non grigliato) immangiabile, calamari congelati e cotti male, penne all'arrabbiata slavati e non parliamo del conto, meglio non parlarne.
Mi dispiace dirlo, ma da rivedere praticamente tutto.
20/02/2025: Les pizzas sont sans intérêt et presque aucune ne contient de la viande au autre protéines. Les services est vraiment expéditif et tout sauf souriant. Le spritz est tout petit mais la table à côté en a eu un deux fois plus grand !!! Heureusement qu’il y avait le soleil en terrasse.

26/02/2025: Very unwelcoming, refusing to serve us bread a second time.
We can run to get a jug of water which we receive at the end of the meal.
Anything but pleasant.
If you want to eat parmesan you will be entitled to 3 small plastic bags with 3g inside.
Avoid seafood that is not even opened and therefore surely bad.
If you think about eating arrabiatta sauce, expect to burn your mouth.

21/12/2024: We ordered pizzas with my boyfriend. It's nice not to find yourself in a tourist trap for once. The menu was large, the prices very reasonable, more than satisfactory value for money given that the pizzas were made in a wood oven! Also, the welcome was very warm and I was able to eat inside with my dog at my feet. Fast and very polite service. I highly recommend this bistro! I will return there often when I am passing through.

03/11/2024: Siamo stati a mangiare cena con amici sabato 2 novembre.
Il cibo era davvero ottimo, tanto pesce e porzioni molto abbondanti. I primi vengono serviti in grosse padelle. Il servizio è stato molto rapido nonostante il locale fosse completamente pieno. Anche il vino della casa non era male.
Il prezzo confrontato alla qualità e quantità del cibo è molto onesto.
Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
28/09/2024: Attesa di 1 ora perché hanno sia tavoli fuori che dentro. Andrebbe diminuito il numero di tavoli o aumentato il numero del personale. Cibo abbondante e buono.

27/06/2024: The restaurant is permanently closed and will be sold to probably compensate the two women who were in the kitchen and the suppliers.
Testimony collected on 06/25/24 from the two women met in “Sanrémo” in sign language because I do not speak Italian (I assure you it was sad to see them)
The gentleman who served left with the "cash" and other common property (after 35 years for one of them), leaving these two women without work and therefore without resources and having seen him with many tears
The affair caused a scandal in the city and the courts are handling the case
This gentleman would have gone to London?, which I do not believe because he was no longer very young to travel
The beautiful story of this restaurant is over, and the two women pointed me to another restaurant "L'Airone" where the cuisine is homemade, but it is not worth "L'Equipe Gabry"
To get there from the restaurant, you have to go down the street, turn right then left, pass under the vault to the left of the church and you will arrive directly at the pizzeria restaurant

12/05/2024: Always a pleasure to have lunch there. Service by the old owners. Beware as you are served lots of antipasti, and pasta and then the main dishes so do not order too much… and be patient as this place is usually packed. Better book in advance.
