28/01/2025: We took the tasting menu (4 courses €48 per person): the courses were plentiful for a tasting menu but above all everything was delicious. I particularly recommend the tortelli with octopus amatriciana (spectacular!), the stuffed quail and the "babamisù". Even the wines that the chef proposed to us as pairings were perfect for the dishes. The chef is a wonderful person, available to explain the dishes and also to entertain the guests in conversation. Fantastic experience, we will definitely be back!

07/01/2025: I don't usually do reviews, but this time I can only give my super compliments to Debora for the beautiful dinner we had during the little holiday in Montefiascone with my partner... Everything was perfect, the food, the wine, the service and the cuddles received during the evening because those who cook with love transmit it onto the plate ❣️... thank you for everything!!

08/02/2025: La location è accogliente, il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è stato cordiale, attento e pronto a consigliare piatti deliziosi in base ai nostri gusti. Il menu offre una vasta selezione di piatti a base di pesce freschissimo ma anche portate di terra, con un’ampia scelta di antipasti, primi e secondi che vanno dalle preparazioni più tradizionali a quelle innovative. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo considerando la qualità del pesce e l’esperienza complessiva. Se siete alla ricerca di un ristorante che offra pesce freschissimo e preparazioni raffinate, “da Rita” è sicuramente il posto giusto. Consigliatissimo!

Excellent food, very fresh fish and served divinely... we highly recommend... we ate fish but there was also a wide choice of meat We will definitely be back... try it then tell us

13/01/2025: ...preoccupati dal titolo? Ma no..., è solo che è davvero difficile trovare qualcosa di negativo al ristorante "Il Toscano" di Bolsena. Ottima cucina, personale decisamente gentile e premuroso. Non è la prima volta che ci veniamo e dispiace solo che Bolsena non sia più vicina a Roma. Degli ottimi piatti ho già accennato (consiglio spaghettoni cacio e pepe, ma anche i tortelloni con i gamberetti) e può sembrare strano che mi soffermi sul pane ma, credetemi, è una vera delizia: è fatto in casa (come molta della pasta del resto) e viene offerto caldo... un antico piacere oggi raramente godibile. In conclusione, se siete in zona non perdetevi un pranzo, o una cena, da "il Toscano". Dimenticavo, anche il prezzo è adeguato!

14/01/2025: We completely trusted us for our daughter's baptism and we couldn't have made a better choice. Family management is the strong point of this restaurant! Wendy took care of our event down to the smallest details, accommodating us with every request. Everyone was satisfied with the quality of the food and the impeccable service. To conclude…wonderful view of the lake!

11/01/2025: The best fish restaurant on Lake Bolsena. I've been going there for three years and every time it's a confirmation, lake fish cooked very well in the various ways that tradition requires, I recommend trying the tagliolini with goregone and the roasted eel skewers. Excellent choice of wines and desserts. Special note for the paccheri with shellfish and the truly excellent house starter.

12/01/2025: I celebrated my graduation here. We were about 20 people and the waiters were super efficient for any menu changes. The food was top notch, the quantities were perfect and the value for money was excellent. In general all the staff were very kind and always helpful. A guarantee.

15/12/2024: Domenica a pranzo,sala piena di bella gente, siamo rimasti semplicemente stupefatti dalla qualità del cibo e dalla tecnica dello chef. Ripeto è stata un esperienza sublime anche grazie al valido contributo del Signore Augusto il "patron" della sala, con garbata simpatia e professionalità ha contribuito a far sì che fosse una bella esperienza per noi, ma anche a tutti i commensali presenti. Ci tornerò il prima possibile, lo consiglio vivamente a tutti.

17/11/2024: I only ate a pizza, huge, thin and well cooked and finished with an excellent panna cotta. Pizza like this, although good, is not my type (I prefer Neapolitan) but I know how to recognize quality products and those from the tavern are.

18/01/2025: The quality of the ingredients is decent and worth it. the cuisine is not bad, although the dishes are very conservative. But pay attention to the cooking times which are not questionable for fish.
