29/05/2026: A really lovely Italian family run restaurant. The good was delicious. The seasonal artichoke was particularly good. And the tiramisu coffee is a must! They could do better with vegetarian or vegan choices but there was enough on offer to suit most tastes.

02/06/2026: Giggetto is undoubtedly one of the most famous restaurants in the area, well-known and consistently well-reviewed. I tried it for the first time and was not disappointed. The location needs no introduction: it's fortunate to be on the lake in a breathtaking setting! Eating al fresco among the trees in the garden overlooking the lake is priceless. The menu is classic, with simple dishes for all tastes (both meat and fish). Everything is well-cooked and the ingredients are top-quality (the sea bream was truly excellent). The service could be improved. We had the fried lake fish, perfect in quantity (in fact, I'd say abundant) and quality! The purgatory beans, baked sea bream with potatoes, and sliced ​​tuna. It definitely deserves its name!!

28/07/2026: A restaurant within the walls of Tuscania, a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, with carefully prepared and delicious dishes, fresh fish and garden vegetables. There's no set menu, but about eight courses, consisting of various appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert. The surprise lies in the apparent simplicity and the delicious flavors created from excellent ingredients. We finished everything, including a bottle of white wine. Liquors and coffee to finish.

24/07/2026: The restaurant offers a fixed menu featuring several courses, all fish-based, including wine, water, coffee, liqueurs, and dessert. Last night we ate a total of eight dishes; one is missing from the photos because I didn't take one, not because it wasn't good, but because I forgot. The unique thing is that you sit down and when they bring your dishes, they describe them to you on the spot, without knowing what you're getting; each dish is a taste discovery. At the end of the dinner, they set up a table with all the liqueurs and a giant moka pot, which everyone serves themselves. A wonderful experience, I'll definitely be back.

04/07/2026: Found it by chance, attracted by some tables in the shade of the willow trees. A warm welcome right away. Tables just steps from the water with a splendid view of the lake. Seafood appetizer, fried calamari and baked potatoes (excellent). Local sour cherry mousse was top-notch. Professional and friendly staff. We loved it.

29/06/2026: Judging a restaurant after just one visit, including two main courses and side dishes, isn't very convincing, but our experience was still quite disappointing. Two grilled fish dishes, one seafood and one lake fish, were very poor in both composition and preparation. The side dishes were average and acceptable. Again, it could just be a case of bad luck, but that's the way it is. Courteous service. No receipt.

09/08/2026: Starting with the welcome bruschetta, the evening promises to be a good one. The wait staff are clearly learning their craft, but they're committed and friendly. The appetizers at Picchio Rosso are excellent, especially the exquisite seafood salad and fried shrimp. The base for everything is excellent olive oil from nearby Canino. The first courses, featuring high-quality fish, are exquisite. Courtesy and smiles complete the picture. Being so early, we ate at a very normal time. We'll wait until the second episode to evaluate the second courses. I confirm what I said with a splendid cod with fennel and roasted potatoes. 2026 CONFIRMATION: 5 STARS
