Every time I cross the threshold, I feel welcomed like family, thanks to the attention and courtesy of the owners, always available and with exquisite manners. The staff is highly trained and professional, attentive to every detail and ready to satisfy any request with a smile. The quality of the dishes is excellent: you can perceive the great attention paid to the choice of raw materials and, above all, the ability to make the most of them with careful preparations and authentic flavours. If you are looking for a restaurant where you can eat well and feel at home, this is the right place. Highly recommended!

25/03/2025: That fantastic Thursday is over the years and in all seasons a confirmation of excellent catering and quality. The menu is always adequate, varied enough and is renewed from time to time. The staff is very kind, respectful and worthy. The environment is elegant and refined, but also very hospitable and welcoming. In short, a mix of refinement, luxury and humility...very rare and effective. Very honest prices, considering that for many imitations you pay even 20/30% more in the city.

24/03/2025: We had lunch with the family taking advantage of our visit to Ferrara. As usual, for the choice of restaurants we rely on the Michelin guide, but this time with this restaurant I don't think it has reached the standard of a restaurant in the Michelin guide that we usually find in the places we go. The girl who caught and served us is really good and kind, while the same is not true for the older lady who I assume is either the owner or in any case in charge of the room. In fact, apart from the joke about having ordered a few dishes (unfortunately my mother has undergone stomach surgery so she can't eat too much and for this reason, even though there were 4 of us, we ordered for 3, but in any case I'm a paying customer so the reason for my choices shouldn't matter), at a certain point during the change of tables of two couples I noticed with regret that to bring the dishes he placed everything on the sofa at the entrance to the restaurant, where people constantly pass by and you can also sit there, so not much hygienic considering that the diners will then carry those cutlery into their mouths. Furthermore, one of these couples was told to bring their jacket into the closet, which we are not here either, firstly because it is a service that you as manager of the place should do and secondly because on the other hand in that closet there are everyone's overcoats, and it is not certain that the lady who was given authorization to wander around inside the closet was an honest person or could rummage through other people's jackets and bags. Moving on to the food, if they focused more on tradition they could even get to the Michelin star, everything we ordered, including desserts, traditional was really excellent, while the passatelli asciutti were really bland and above all they had exceeded the cooking time by a long time, while the passatello must maintain a certain consistency otherwise the yield of such a simple and peasant dish but also delicious at the same time would be ruined. Another point to bring to attention is the selection of focaccias and breads to be consumed while waiting or together with the dishes, usually in restaurants a much more refined selection is offered and above all the breads and gnocchi are not so reheated but always have the consistency and flavor of freshly baked bread or in any case made that same morning. For the choice of wines, well, what can I say, isn't there a sommelier in the room? Because the girl, as cute as she was, wasn't able to tell us exactly what to pair with the dishes, but I don't think it was her fault, someone should take care of the drinking part and accompany the customer in learning about the wine he's pairing with the dish. In short, after various experiences in Michelin guide restaurants I wonder why this place appears, it is truly excellent as a tavern but not enough to deserve the attention of such a selection.

09/03/2025: Locale alla buona senza fronzoli ma con un ottima cucina. Uno spaghetto allo scoglio favoloso, una grigliata mista di pesce altrettanto, antipasto di mare splendido, vino bianco della casa buono e una signora a servizio in sala cortese e gentile. Cosa chiedere di più non so. Prezzi onestissimi. Ritorneremo sicuramente.

24/02/2025: Ristorante elegante e sobrio. Piatti buonissimi con prodotti del territorio che sono una vera scoperta come le ostriche di Goro e dell’Adriatico una vera leccornia. Tutto è buonissimo dagli antipasti al dolce ed il personale è preparato ed accogliente. Se volete assaggiare la più buona zuppa inglese in assoluto (dolce tipico di Ferrara) la potete trovare qui. Ottima la carta dei vini.

A very pleasant surprise, a round of 6 hot and cold appetizers, each one better than the other, we will definitely return to try the wonderful first and second courses that we saw passing by at other tables. 11/03/2025: I went on Saturday 8/03/2025 With friends, I had a great time, apart from the fact that I really like the village, it's a little Venice... we ate at the Cantinon restaurant, very good fresh fish, I ate seafood salad as a starter, which wasn't just seafood salad, it was a nice starter dish, then I tasted the moeche, a type of crab, fabulous, and finally grilled calamari, delicious and very light. I ate very well, I will return and I highly recommend it.....

30/03/2025: I went to the restaurant on the evening of Wednesday 26 March, average food quality, outrageous price, we went for a simple dinner, the waitress offered us a boiled fish (telling us that it had been ordered by others who could not come) the boiled fish would have been thrown away if it had not been taken by us. In conclusion when I showed up for the bill, I was left speechless, 300 euros for three people for: a boiled fish, a portion of rice with prawns, water, wine and three desserts, honestly I would have expected a discount on a dish that if not consumed would have been thrown away, I certainly doubt that I will return to this restaurant

09/03/2025: A refined restaurant, where the cuisine meets particular tastes and combinations that can surprise, or can still leave a positive experience. The scallops are excellent, as are the sea bass, the au gratin and the anchovy cutlets. The risotto with burrata and lime is excellent. The dessert was good but I would have expected something more special, including the plating. Staff always friendly and courteous.

16/03/2025: Menu balanced between tradition and innovation. Fried gnocco was clearly raw, the cappelletti were excellent and the desserts were very good and reflected the tradition well. Fairly attentive service; I am very disappointed by the wine.. after choosing an interesting ancestral method Lambrusco from the wine list (as I am passionate about natural wines and owner of a wine restaurant specializing in these) we are served a very classic Charmat rosé Lambrusco.. Maybe they thought that given our young age we were inexperienced... this thing disappointed us a lot.

21/02/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante altre volte nel fine settimana e tutto sommato era accettabile, l’ultima volta purtroppo è capitato durante la settimana, arrivati ci consegnano il menù fisso disponibile a pranzo, chiediamo se possibile avere il menù alla carta , la titolare scocciata ce lo consegna dicendo che le tempistiche sono lunghe, riferiamo che non è un problema e cerchiamo di accordarci per prendere li stessi piatti così da creare meno disagio possibile alla cucina, giunto il momento dell’ordine (dopo una discreta quantità di attesa) la titolare ad ogni richiesta riferisce che la cucina non riesce a preparare nessun piatto presente nel menu alla carta in quanto sono organizzati solo per il menù fisso (sarebbe stato sufficiente dirlo subito invece di parlare di tempistiche), accettiamo quindi il menù fisso del pranzo, anche qui in attesa infinita ed un errore in quanto ci aveva riportato i menu alla carta… dopo più di un’ora riceviamo i piatti ordinati con tanto di commento “se aveste ordinato subito dal menù fisso avreste già finito di mangiare” Insomma oltre all’organizzazione scadente, i piatti abbastanza insignificanti come sapori anche una bella dose di maleducazione.

28/09/2024: Ciao da oltre un anno dovevo venire a tornare il mio amico Luigi qui a Migliarino Finalmente a settembre 2024 siamo riusciti a combinare e così abbiamo organizzato vari giri tra cui un pranzo all’angolo del fritto a porto Garibaldi La vera sorpresa è stata l’anguilla ai ferri che è di una delicatezza inarrivabile mentre il fritto misto di pesce è veramente delizioso e leggero Come bis ho scelto un cibo della memoria che sono le acciughe fritte Tutto il cibo è stato di una bontà unica insieme al bere un Pignoletto dei colli bolognesi fresco che si accompagnava benissimo al fritto Tutto questo unito alla cordialità e alla simpatia della proprietaria signora Rita mi ha fatto passare una bellissima giornata e sicuramente ci sarà un bis prossimamente

13/03/2025: Frequento da tempo questo locale. Angelo e Federica, i titolari, sono ormai praticamente amici ; Giacomo, Valentina, Ricky e tutti i ragazzi dello staff sono di una efficienza e cordialità non comuni. Io, la mia famiglia, i miei amici abbiamo avuto modo di provare praticamente l' intero menu : chi viene da fuori Ferrara deve assolutamente provare i cappellacci di zucca col ragù... Le pizze sono speciali, i primi piatti ottimi ed abbondanti. Se oltre al palato ci si vuole deliziare pure gli occhi allora è da provare la paella : nel periodo del covid ce la facevamo consegnare a casa, per alleggerire la pressione del periodo. Una Tantum abbiamo anche provato il menu con le specialità sarde. A proposito, se ci si intrattiene nel locale fino a tardi capita non di rado di trovare nel tavolo vicino quei personaggi dello spettacolo che si sono appena esibiti nel vicino Teatro Nuovo.
