Refined, tasty dishes, top quality ingredients; very courteous, attentive and impeccable service; the owner always has a kind manner and the girls in the room are impeccable in everything. The location is warm and welcoming and it is a real pleasure to enter this Cloud of goodness, beauty and kindness every time.

12/12/2024: Il giorno della specializzazione di mio figlio, causa una serie di contrattempi siamo entrati al ristorante alle 14.20 e sono riusciti a farci pranzare ( tutto veramente squisito) in un'ora. Alle 17.10 avevamo il volo di rientro da Bologna. Fortemente dispiaciuti e preoccupati per noi si sono impegnati riuscendo a rendere la "mission " possibile. Un sentito ringraziamento

We spent a wonderful evening, the place is not large and is perfect for intimate dinners with your partner, we opted for the tasting menu and I must say that we were surprised and fascinated. The chef's work is incredible in using very simple ingredients, but which overall manage to convey emotions as it did for me. The staff was excellent in their service, they took care of every detail, they made you feel pampered and appreciated, we really enjoyed every single moment of the evening. I really congratulate you, the customer should not only consume good food at the table but should be treated as we were treated during dinner, you are fantastic! I recommend booking in advance!

25/12/2024: Really everything was fantastic! From the truly refined and pleasant environment, to the impeccable courtesy and professionalism of the waiters, up to the… photonic dishes! Such a good risotto I have never eaten in my life! Highly recommended and truly congratulations to all the staff for the fantastic work! The only flaw is perhaps the desserts. But still absolutely worth coming back!🤩

29/12/2024: Sometimes perfection is accidental, not for this place which, for the third time, did nothing wrong. Excellent quality food, in taste, preparation and presentation. I will return again and recommend it as the best in Ferrara.

02/09/2024: In my opinion and that of my partner who has been coming to Porto Garibaldi since she was little, this is among the best fry shops we have ever tried. They are very kind and the food is really excellent even for a person like me who is very "difficult" with tastes. In addition to the quality of the fish, you can also feel that of the oil. All digestible. The only shortcoming in my opinion is the absence of separate waste collection except for glass, but I think this derives from incorrect pseudo policies in the area.

30/12/2024: It's impossible to speak badly of Il Pirata, the atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, the staff is available and present for every request. The fresh products, and despite not being a fish lover, I left very satisfied. The dishes are plentiful and very good, the wine selection is also well looked after. The excellent grilled food, the first courses, despite having condiments, enhance the flavor of the fish. The prices are average, but the final bill is well spent. The place is on the ground floor.

12/01/2025: Very nice place. Typical cuisine (good). The courtesy in serving at the table by the staff needs to be improved. I noticed excessive courtesy (perhaps not natural) on the part of the foreign waitress. In any case recommended.

18/11/2024: Wonderful experience with the very large tasting menu with 8 servings. After agreement with the very competent Sommelier, we were given a specially composed wine menu based on Italy and adapted to our desired taste nuances. Time flew by and during the more than four hours we were spoiled with delicious servings, artistically arranged and thought out, and particularly tasty and balanced. The accompanying wines were great experiences each. All accompanied by incredibly friendly and professional waiters and Sommelier. According to our experiences, worthy of a star. Can definitely be recommended. A great gastronomic experience and value for money.

18/10/2024: What a stylish restaurant this is! Every detail, from the linens and glassware to the wall decorations is elegant! The food was wonderful as well. The nice wine steward Isaac Giuliani was so informative and helpful. He recommended that we visit the Abbazia di Pomposa, which we did the next day. That turned out to be a great experience, combined with the Lido di Volano. I highly recommend this restaurant -- it's worth every Euro.

It is a family-run place and both Mrs. Concetta, who runs the place, and the staff immediately put you at ease and make you feel at home. They are really very good, kind and fast even when the place is full of customers. Excellent value for money, welcoming and romantic place. For parties I recommend always booking well in advance because everything is always busy. Restaurant accessible to disabled people. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL THE STAFF, IT'S ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE YOU!

03/01/2025: Se uno a Capodanno, poco prima dello spettacolo pirotecnico al Castello di Ferrara, ordina per cena una Pizza Messicana, che in sé è estremamente impegnativa essendo guarnita con cipolla, fagioli messicani, salamino piccante, pancetta e patate al forno, e oltre a riscontrare un'ottima qualità di tutti gli ingredienti nonché dell'impasto stesso con cui detta pizza è stata preparata, la digerisce come se non l'avesse manco sfiorata e poi, non contento, si divora pure un Profiterole nero come se non ci fosse un domani, cosa vuoi dare al locale se non 5 stelle??? Al netto del fatto che, oltretutto, si tratti di un posto estremamente carino; centrale e comodo da raggiungere; ampio e curato al proprio interno; con prezzi ragionevoli; ben frequentato e con alcune cameriere gentili e carucce a loro volta, il che non guasta mai in entrambi i sensi... Grazie!

24/12/2024: Pizza molto buona ..... si sente proprio che è la pizza del ciclone.... consiglio anche i piatti a base di pesce...... inoltre sono sempre veloci e gentili ...... anche a casa la pizza del Ciclone è sempre ottima !
