09/06/2025: Nos alojamos en el Hotel Excelsior que está cerca y pasamos por este restaurante una noche. Dijimos que lo intentaríamos y estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. La comida es tan buena que comimos aquí en 2 noches mientras nos alojamos en Nápoles durante una semana. Recomiendo encarecidamente tanto la costilla - filete de ojos y el solomillo (sí, somos comedores de carne! ). Todavía estamos tomando el equilibrio de sabores. ¡Las patatas fritas también son deliciosas y abundantes! El tipo que nos sirvió en ambas noches era tan encantador y atento. Recomendó un vino muy bueno que golpeó el lugar muy bien. No pases por este restaurante, asegúrate de entrar y no te arrepentirás. Esperamos volver de nuevo.

03/06/2025: What a great restaurant. We came for the beautiful sunset because this is a suitable place for that. A table in the middle of the Oude Haven. The food was more than tasty. Fresh and exactly as it should be in Italian. The local wine that was recommended to us was a perfect match and had a unique taste. But what charmed us most was a lovely conversation with the owner and his son. Go eat here!

31/05/2025: Un’esperienza davvero indimenticabile! Questo ristorante affacciato sul mare offre una vista mozzafiato che da sola vale la visita, ma il vero incanto è nel piatto. Abbiamo gustato pesce freschissimo, preparato con semplicità e maestria, esaltando i sapori autentici del mare. Ogni portata è stata una scoperta: dagli antipasti delicati ai primi saporiti, fino al pescato del giorno che sembrava appena uscito dall’acqua. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino bianco consigliato dal personale, sempre attento, gentile e mai invadente. Cenare qui al tramonto, con i colori del cielo che si riflettono sull’acqua e il suono delle onde di sottofondo, è stato un vero regalo. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca buona cucina di pesce, atmosfera rilassata e una location che lascia senza parole. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

03/06/2025: We came here on a honeymoon, having never been at a Michelin restaurant, looking forward to the experience. We left quite disappointed. The restaurant is pretty, and views from the villa are spectacular, but once we entered we got ushered into the restaurant through a back alley so we didn't get to see the gardens. We didn't know what to expect, but the first impression was - air of pretentiousness. Most waiters were smug, but maybe it's what it's supposed to be. We ordered a 6-course meal for two persons and honestly, it was nothing special. Appetisers were bread sticks coated with "special" oil, bread, butter and a tiny dish I only remember as being ok. I've had much better in 10x cheaper restaurants. First meal, that we liked the most was amberjack, which was interesting and delicious, albeit tiny. It tasted like herring which I don't normally like, but it was coated in sweet sauce and melted in my mouth. Next we got "tender asparagus" flower, but it was very chewy, and tasted... like asparagus. The nice sauce it was coated in couldn't save the meal. Third meal was risotto. It was ok. The rice was too hard for my liking and oversalted. It wasn't even that interesting and I've had tastier risotto in supermarket restaurants. Fourth meal was seafood spaghettini, presented in a form of a ball. Interesting, and tasted good, even if too salty. On our trip we ate mostly in Italian food in local restaurants, and I've had seafood pasta 3 times. All of those times it was heavenly. This one was decent, but way worse than any of the ones I had. Next up was sea bass. The presentation wasn't that interesting, just a tiny piece of fish with some sweet sauce. It tasted good, though not mind blowing. Veal fillet was tasty but nothing special. It was presented in an interesting way, with greens stacked on top of the tiny bit of fillet. Last meal was a desert delivered in a half-spiral plate. It looked like a deconstruction of a lemon cake, with different ingredients stacked in different places you then combine in your mouth. Interesting. I've seen this idea before, and that one tasted much better. We had better-tasting deserts in cheaper restaurants. In total we paid just short of 700 euros. I expected to pay 500. It's extremely overpriced, in my opinion, considering the price-value ratio and the wait times between meals were around 20-40 minutes - very long. In the end, we even got charged for things we haven't ordered. For instance, we ordered 2 non-alcoholic cocktails for 14 euros each. After finishing them, the waiter asked if wanted a refill, which we DECLINED. The bill said 4 cocktails, so we got charged for them to ask us if we wanted a cocktail, not actually receiving one. As soon as we sat down at the table, the waiter brought a bottle of champaign to us, showed it and poured 1/3 of the glass each without asking or saying anything. We tasted it, and he asked if we'd like wine or cocktails, and we said we don't want alcoholic drinks. In the end, each of the 1/3 glasses cost 55 euros, or we inadvertently bought the whole bottle for 110 euros we didn't even want or drink for the most part. Maybe it's just my ignorance and I should've done something differently, but it felt borderline scammy. But what irked me the most was that the waiter asking if we wanted water, to which we replied yes. He went on a tangent of how pretentious their water was and we asked for a bottle. It cost 14 euros. For bottled water. That you can get in a supermarket. Why? They added no extra value... Did they pour it from some pretentious pitcher containing lemons or rosemary or any some nonsense? No. Just regular bottled water, poured in a regular glass. All in all, I do not recommend this experience. The meals overall taste fine, but much much worse than what you can get in ANY of the surrounding cheaper restaurants. Just choose one of those, save 600 euros, and have a nice evening with similar views, better-tasting meals and unpretentious service with honest pricing. Try Vittoria restaurant in Ravello, just 300 meters from the villa.

28/05/2025: We were really looking forward to a dinner experience at Il Flauto di Pan and I even reached out months before reservations were open. Unfortunately, we had a medical emergency the day prior and both of us were very ill, so we could not make it. We could not give more than 12 hour notice and were expecting to get hit with the hefty cancellation fees (100 euro per person), but both the man who answered the phone and Violetta were very understanding and, upon verifying the medical emergency, waived the fees and canceled our reservation. We unfortunately never recovered intime to attempt to attend on a different day, but we hope to have another opportunity in the future.

13/05/2025: La vue est magnifique. Par contre un risotto servi tiède avec UNE crevette à 20 euros c'est clairement exagéré ! Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

06/06/2025: The service was fantastic! The staff was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. Went out of their way to assist us with the food and other questions we had. Highly recommend!

05/06/2025: TOURIST TRAP. Extremely Not Recommended. The prices displayed on the blackboard outside are not fair because then when you sit at the table in the menu the prices increase significantly. Mediocre food, nothing special. And the owner initially seems friendly and nice then when you are at the table he ignores you all the time and insults his waiters during working hours.

19/05/2025: Great food, friendly and professional staff. The seafood appetizer is very varied and I could taste the sea in every bite. The grilled prawns are really delicious. I recommend it to everyone !!!!

19/06/2025: We were seated by a lovely waitress however, after reviewing the menu we found it to be overpriced and to be honest no dishes that really stood out to us. I went over to explain to the waiter we were going to just leave it. Before I even for the chance to make my apologies for us changing our minds he went crazy, hissing at me, shooing me out the restaurant like I was some kind of vermin, highly embarrassing and unprofessional. So pleased we didn't spend our evening/money here now, do not recommend.

18/06/2025: I came in here hoping to have a nice dinner with my mother and sisters, but it was quite the opposite. First we waited a long time for them to come and take our order and when we told the waiter our order which was 2 gnocchi’s, A side of french fries, and our drinks, he then proceeded to assume and say with such unnecessary attitude that we were going to share. I told him that wasn’t the intention because the girls were simply not that hungry even though one of them ordered the fries and the other one just ordered a drink. I then talked to another girl and she said that we can’t share. Once again I told her we aren’t sharing, but I guess the only capacity they have in that restaurant is to listen to respond, not listen to understand.

20/05/2025: Accueil à revoir et aucun effort pour comprendre. Les plats arrivent avec 10 min d'intervalle donc pour manger ensemble cela est un peu compliqué. De plus, pas beaucoup de saveur, les langoustines a peine cuite, le thon fade et les plats relativement gras. Sans parler du café servi dans un gobelet en plastique, que dire de plus. Et au moment de partir très difficile de dire au revoir. A fuir, vraiment déçu

17/06/2025: Tutto perfetto, pietanze abbondanti, buonissime. Giusti i tempi di attesa. Unica pecca il servizio. Venendo da Genova ( a detta di tutti molto poco accoglienti) abbiamo trovato poca cordialità.

30/05/2025: Ate here out of necessity before going back to our ship, should have walked on. Struggled with communication, thought we asked for pasta with fungi, got seaford risotto. Food was okay, price was outrageous, cash only and no change offered, couldn't be stuffed arguing to get change. Staff friendly enough.

28/05/2025: The food isn't bad, but the service is terrible, and the customer service representative charged me for an extra dish I didn't eat. Clearly, I ended up paying for it.

01/06/2025: Place to renovate, terrible service we ordered 4 first courses and they all arrived divided we could not eat together, in addition not only did we order 4 before at 9:00 pm, at 10:00 pm we were told by the waiter after a reminder made before that some first courses were not available therefore after a very long wait the hoped dishes arrived. Practically everyone ate alone. The service needs to be reviewed, certainly more presence in the room. It must be said however that the food is quality.

01/06/2025: Disappointed! Total confusion and dishes arrived at different times.....we basically each had dinner on our own!!!! Unfortunately we will not return.

13/04/2025: *¡Ten mucho cuidado si tienes alergias! *Vine aquí hace 2 años y pedí una pizza sin gluten - libre, lactosa - libre que estaba genial y volví hoy y pedí lo mismo. Le pedí al camarero, * 3 veces *, en italiano, que por favor se asegurara de que no había lactosa o queso, ya que soy alérgico (no intolerante) . Él trajo la pizza y yo volví a comprobar que no había queso ni lactosa. Me aseguró que no había ninguno. Tomé dos bocados y me di cuenta de que había queso. ¡Eek! Esto es muy aterrador para mí mientras mi garganta se tensa. Cuando le pregunté si había queso, me dijo: 'no, pero hay Mozzarella'. Cuando señalé que Mozzarella *es* queso, dijo que no lo era. Y así continuó la conversación... El lema: ¡TEN MUCHO, MUCHO CUIDADO CON ESTE RESTAURANTE si tienes alergias!
