È il nostro posto preferito dove si coniuga ottimo cibo in un’atmosfera magica, Luca il proprietario e tutto lo staff sono attenti e gentili con tutti i clienti ti coccolano con la loro squisita cucina e con la massima dedizione.
Consiglio tutti questa esperienza unica !!!
07/06/2025: The octopus salad with potatoes was boring. The potatoes were overcooked, the salad within was from the supermarket, the octopus fresh but the entire meal was unambiguous prepared and not tasteful.
The mixed salad was so boring too. It looked and tasted like something from a bad school kitchen.
It came without vinaigrette, the fennels were cut out in big chunks, tomatoes without taste and again the salad within was from the supermarket.
The vinegar at the table was too sweet and within a plastic bottle - guess from where.
We weren’t served bread - and not even to the salad - only when I asked for it. One slide was even dry.

20/06/2025: I stop to evaluate the menu and ask, since it is a pizza restaurant, if they do make pizzas. After another tour to evaluate other places we decide, since there are 2 of us, to stop. I ask for the pizza menu and initially they tell me that it takes a while to bring the wood-fired oven up to temperature and immediately after they tell me that it is still off. It is 7:30 pm and the place is already open. We eat a first course, a second course and some vegetables anyway. On the way out, I tell the person who had invited me in that the oven was off. He replies that he had forgotten. In short, we were ripped off, but the dishonesty of these people was total. If I ever return to Ischia I will definitely not go there
02/06/2025: Fake reviews! We sat down at 10 and ate at 11:30. A bruschetta came out an hour after ordering. The dishes, despite the wait, were all tasteless and contained old products. I have never seen a worse restaurant in Ischia. (Prices not in line with the quality)

21/05/2025: Unfortunately the service has gotten worse.
Once I went with a friend and I had the discounts on the app but they told me they were out of service but first made me activate the promo and consequently then lost it.
Tonight instead I went with my son.. as a surprise there were supposed to be Pokemon cards (also advertised by them in their exhibition space) but in the happy meal we found something else. The answer was that they had run out. Obviously my son was upset.
Sincere advice, when the surprises run out it is better to report it. . At least the customer thinks about whether to consume or not. 😉

12/06/2025: My mum, sister and I have just enjoyed a few days in Vico Equense. We found this restaurant to be one of our favorites. My mum was in a wheelchair which can be awkward but they were so helpful. The food was gorgeous, very traditional Italian. They were always so busy and the staff work so hard, nothing was ever a problem. I would definitely recommend you book to avoid disappointment.
23/05/2025: Poche parole: sono stato molte volte in questo ristorante vecchia scuola, piatti tipici della cucina mediterranea e una grande qualità e selezione di pesce, riesce sempre a mantenere lo stesso livello nelle sue preparazioni. In sostanza se volete tradizione e qualità è la scelta giusta!

14/06/2025: Worst Beachclub I have ever been to! The prices are unreasonably high and the service is bad. Additionally to our two sunbeds for 280 euro!! (from what you can consume 120 euros in the beach club) we paid 40 euros for the boat to the beach club, which is 5 minutes boat ride and 14 euros to even sit in the restaurant! In general the voucher of 120 euros are gone really fast as the prices for the food & drinks are insane. I will never go again.
10/06/2025: The hostess was very rude. It started that she yelled after other guests and walked after them while we waited for her, even though they didn’t say a word and were not rude. To us she was rude as well she snarled and made comments. seemed like no one wanted to work or made any effort and we pay good money to be there. The food on the other hand was amazing. I won’t recommend coming by foot the hill is too much.

La Terrazza dell'Excelsior
18/03/2025: This was a special night. We ordered the chef’s gastronomical menu after some input (do you have allergies, do you eat fish, etc.) Each course came with a wine accompaniment. Every course was delicious and it was fun to trust the chef to prepare specialties. The view is breathtaking and the service was attentive. This was the first day that we arrived and was nice to stay in the hotel and have a nice meal after so much travel.

15/06/2025: Comida para llevar como parte de un tour en grupo que habitualmente patrocina este restaurante. Gastó $ 38 para tener comida disponible después del tour. Recogí la comida y tenía 15 minutos para comer, así que se sentó en el asiento al aire libre para comer rápidamente. Un empleado nos señaló a mí y a mi hija de 14 años y nos dijo que teníamos que irnos porque habíamos “sacado comida”. Ningún otro cliente estaba siendo invitado a irse; aunque al menos otras 5 mesas tenían personas de nuestro grupo de turismo sentados, bebiendo agua o comiendo pizza para llevar. Habíamos comprado pasta, fruta y refrescos. (No había clientes que no fueran de grupos turísticos comiendo excepto tal vez una mesa. ) Preguntamos por todos los demás y el empleado comenzó a acercarse silenciosamente a otras mesas. Hicimos las maletas y terminamos comiendo en la entrada de enfrente. Una vez terminado, intenté colocar nuestros contenedores en una mesa sucia en la zona de estar exterior. El empleado se me acercó rápidamente y me devolvió mis dos pequeños contenedores de papel de aluminio y dijo que tenía que desecharlo en otro lugar. Pregunté por qué no iban a desechar mi basura ya que había patrocinado el restaurante y no había otro lugar conveniente para tirarla. Se negó a ayudarme, insistió en devolverme los contenedores y después de discutir conmigo se alejó. Nunca en mi vida he tenido una pelea de gritos con un empleado en un restaurante; ni nunca me han tratado tan mal después de gastar dinero en un establecimiento. Pasé muchos años de mi vida en la industria de servicios de alimentos y estoy completamente sin palabras en cuanto a cómo esta persona trató a un cliente que paga.
11/06/2025: Mira las críticas! estafa absoluta de un lugar. El personal es mentiroso, no hay menú de precios en el acto. Intentaré intimidarte. Si usted come aquí, sea firme y pida un menú y precios o mejor aún... simplemente no coma aquí. El lugar es un sucio y el personal un grosero cuando llamas a sus mentirosos y estafas.
Lástima que le den tan mal nombre a los italianos: no todos los italianos son como estos criminales para conseguir turistas.

31/05/2025: Terrible place, terrible service, rudeness and dirt, defrosted and poor quality food, 35 euros for an appetizer of two defrosted cacatelle. 3 hours to be served. Place to close
04/05/2025: We went on Saturday evening (decently served) and on Sunday for lunch (the service left something to be desired)... probably because we guests have vouchers... Boo?
I can add that if everything was good on Saturday evening, on Sunday lunch the frying was "heavy"...
For the service?!...: I have asked many times for a spare napkin and cutlery for the child who, having fallen to the floor, is still waiting...
They gave us the impression of being "too much", bored when they saw us there the second time... and we (family of 4) were even more bored by the long waits between the first course and the second course (the dessert NEVER ARRIVED was also included even though we were supposed to have it as marked on the voucher)... other people were served before us while we had already been waiting for a long time having been seated before.
There won't be any next times

21/05/2025: Encantadora ubicación en el paseo marítimo en el puerto deportivo, tuvimos ensaladas, no particularmente memorable, pero perfectamente decente, buen pan. Hubiera tomado café / postre, pero estaban dispuestos a cerrar. Disfrutamos de nuestra visita, ya que era una zona agradable y lejos de la locura que es Nápoles!

21/08/2024: SUPER, excellent aperitif on a superlative and relaxing seafront in Scario. Finally a cocktail list with native proposals. My partner and I tried two cocktails with local ingredients, excellent! They accompany the drinks with peanuts, chips and basic taralli. We have chosen 2 aperitif formulas as shown in the photo. Local anchovies, fried cod, calamari skewers, local cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fish etc. Basically we had dinner, we woke up satisfied (of course, it's not a dinner with first courses etc. More than enough for an aperitif).
Courteous and present staff. Fully recommended.
P.S. suggest AT THE BAR NEXT to play music more suited to the context. Here came Techno coming out of a disgusting cinema box. In fact it was empty.
