05/11/2025: Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review for this restaurant I'll start off by saying that my food was decent, the carbonara was authentic, creamy & there was a generous amount of guanciale; the portion size was okay too We were here as part of a tour group to Amalfi booked through GetYourGuide We were recommended this restaurant by our guide & decided we'd give it a go, he told us that it was decently priced & that the food was good so we decided we'd try it We can only assume that this was some sort of deal between the establishment & the tour guide, and that he receives commission for every person he convinces to dine there The drinks menu did not have prices, but we ordered a beer each anyway, only to find out that we were charged €12 per beer 😱 I understand that the prices everywhere in Amalfi are likely inflated, but it seems like a sneaky practice by the restaurant to avoid people being discouraged from ordering drinks; it was a bit of a shock when the bill came This leads me onto my next gripe... The service here was pretty abysmal, the restaurant wasn't busy at all with there only being a few other customers in there... yet our food took a long time to be brought out. We asked for the bill & probably waited atleast 15-20mins for it as well, which was annoying because we only had a limited amount of time to explore Amalfi The staff were also unfriendly & didn't smile or seem hospitable towards us at all, a different experience from most of the other restaurants we had tried in Italy, where the staff were friendly & welcoming My friend found a bug in his beer which we weren't very impresed about, but we politely mentioned it to the staff who did bring him a replacement Despite my food being decent, my friends' meals were laughably small in terms of portion size & they left the restaurant still hungry even though they had finished their food 😡 They paid €20-30 each for meals that were literally the size of a starter My friend's girlfriend also ordered a pizza & was disappointed; she said that it was a basic pizza comparable to one you'd buy frozen in a supermarket to cook at home All in all, our overall experience was negative, & we'd all recommend looking elsewhere if you are looking for a place to eat at in Amalfi

29/10/2025: I visited this small restaurant in the historic center of Amalfi with my daughters. Besides the kindness and professionalism of the staff, we felt at home. We enjoyed seafood scialatiello and baked fish with potatoes, olives, and lemon, caught that day and cooked to perfection; we even made the famous "scarpetta" (mop up the bread). Excellent value for money. Wifi access with excellent coverage throughout the room. We will definitely be back.

10/09/2025: This pizzeria and restaurant isn't easy to get to, but it's definitely worth it! Generous, no-frills home-style cooking, delicious pizzas, a rustic atmosphere, and friendly, efficient staff. And finally, the prices are incredibly fair. Bravo!

29/12/2025: Ristorante Nettuno hosted our wedding reception last July, offering our 70 guests an excellent seafood menu, a spectacular location for photos that we had exclusive use of, and attentive and meticulous service, accommodating our every request. The staff pampered us from the first site inspection to the final DJ tune. Special thanks to Pina for being the guardian angel of this wedding. It was the first venue we saw, we fell in love with it instantly, and it far exceeded our expectations. Irene and Domenico

02/11/2025: A very well-maintained establishment, excellent service, and good food. And with the view of the excavations, a visit is highly recommended.

12/03/2026: Good quality food, slightly sluggish service. Prices for individual dishes weren't displayed, only the fixed prices. We didn't eat the fixed menu; there were six of us, and five of us ate. He charged us for seven people. We pointed this out to him, and he only refunded us half of what he owed us. Very clever. We definitely won't be back, and we don't recommend it.

24/02/2026: Small place, but you always feel at home. Impeccable service on weekdays, but it's best to avoid it on weekends as there are long lines and staff are unfortunately scarce, so you have to make do with it somehow. There are no reservations, so you have to wait your turn. Parking is a bit difficult given the area around the restaurant, but a 5-minute walk is easily possible. Abundant and delicious food. The staff is very friendly.

03/01/2026: Despite the excellent reviews, the restaurant was very disappointing. Most of the items on the menu were unavailable, replaced by other dishes we hadn't requested. The long waits, however, were made up for by the owner's kindness, who offered focaccia and mozzarella to fill the gaps. We hope we have a chance to change our minds!

22/10/2025: We’ve been in Italy almost 7 days and this place by far has been the most tasteful restaurant, we had the gnocchi with clams , linguine margarita pizza and calamari and they all were amazing!! I recommend this place to everyone.

21/03/2026: Despite the reservation, they let us in very late, and when we paid they added extra drinks

17/03/2026: We were here on a school trip, and we found this neighborhood gem for lunch. There were 17 of us, and they were super quick, helpful, and fun (which is part of the Neapolitan charm). I must also say that the pizza was delicious, which was a given.

03/01/2026: We called for home delivery of pizzas and waited two hours, we called back and they said they were making them when in reality that wasn't true.

07/03/2026: I ate reasonably well, but I don't think I ate the catch of the day, and yet I paid as if it were. The staff should be more informative and clear about the dishes.

01/03/2026: We were shocked. We ordered spaghetti with lupini beans and clams, which to call "unusual" is an understatement: the dish had a very strong buttery smell and was completely dry, devoid of any trace of oil. When we pointed this out, the staff denied it rather than apologize. Being told it wasn't true despite the obvious was the final straw. We paid without continuing.

12/02/2026: very good food, both in terms of cooking and pizza, very friendly service even if sometimes rushed, as regards the environment I strongly recommend installing more efficient air conditioning for the summer period

29/01/2026: Informal and comfortable atmosphere, attentive and caring staff. Pettole, beans, and mussels are hard to forget! Recommended for those who want to use food as both nourishment and a memory! Super!!
