26/08/2025: This place is highly underrated at 4.1 stars in my opinion. Amazing value for good portions of quality seafood in a gorgeous setting, especially once the sun starts setting. We brought out daughter Emilia here and even purchased a bowl with the restaurant name on it as a souvenir because we loved the trattoria so much. Just go and order the fried sardines as an appetizer and insist the picky eaters try it, so good!!!

08/09/2025: We had dinner the three nights we were in Naples, and everything was spectacular. The staff was very friendly. The pizzas were incredible, the dough melted in your mouth. Very good, highly recommended.

08/09/2025: We ordered a red wine, and then a sparkling red wine arrived, which was undrinkable. We returned the wine and also informed them that it was undrinkable and ordered a new one. The sparkling wine was still on the bill. We spoke to the manager and explained that this wasn't okay. He wasn't interested and insisted on the total amount. He got loud. I don't recommend this restaurant!

08/09/2025: A wonderful experience! For starters, we had the bruschetta selection – fresh, aromatic, and simply delicious. This was followed by gnocchi and spaghettoni, both perfectly prepared, with great flavor and attention to detail. The service was attentive and warm, and the ambiance very inviting. We felt completely at home and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

18/08/2025: The place is nice, I expected well-cooked food. The appetizer was decent, the pasta was really disappointing. I don't recommend it, also because the price is too high for the appetizer and first course: €40 plus €2 water, cover charge, and €2 service charge.

20/07/2025: For Japanese people. The taste is really amazing. It may not be suitable for those who expect good service. I would recommend this to those who want to eat something delicious at a reasonable price. I didn't eat much of the frites because I was tired or felt heavy, but the octopus and pomodoro here were the best dishes I ate during my stay in Italy. Above all, the prices are cheap. It's not cheap by Japanese standards, but I couldn't find anything cheaper there. As for alcohol, a large bottle of beer is 3 euros, which is definitely cheap. However, in order to offer cheap food, you always have to accept cost cutting somewhere. In this case, the service and facilities are not good at all. The lady is impatient to take orders, and when I was looking at the menu, she came to take my order three times. (Don't be discouraged, don't rush to order, take a good look at the menu and decide, everything is delicious.) The restaurant is located in a corner outside the city center, on a terrace with plastic chairs and tables, so don't expect anything elegant. Here, you have to pretend to be a local and order as much as you can, without expecting friendly, Japanese-style service. Just like in the Kansai region. However, at the end, the lady, who didn't even shy away from a smile, seemed a little pleased when I told her I was Buono, and the pomodoro was really delicious, no exaggeration. *Afterwards, when I checked travel blogs and the like, it seems that there are many Japanese people who are impressed by the pomodoro here. I felt like I had seen the true essence of Naples.

08/07/2025: A real local atmosphere, very non-touristy. They don't speak English, but it's worth stopping by because the food is amazing. We got really big portions, at a good price. They only give you plastic cups. If you really insist, you can pay by card, but they prefer cash.

27/02/2025: Without praise and without infamy I will give him a second chance....his response speaks for itself, it denotes his lack of professionalism..I am unable to accept criticism, if he weren't so ignorant he would understand that it is needed to improve. Maybe he read someone else's reviews or maybe he doesn't know how to read at all. I am a demanding person, I am not satisfied with mediocrity, I savor it, not swallow it. If you don't like it, it's your problem, not mine. I treat myself well and if the place is mediocre I say so. That I don't have experience is your opinion. I understand that it's not nice to have a low-medium review, but in short, be a little more objective, and if your place has in fact been closed permanently today, perhaps I wasn't entirely wrong!! Hahaha he says I have no experience but he also says he has read all my reviews... think about it a bit and decide which answer suits you best. It's not a palace that does the cooking... and if you took my criticisms to heart and improved, I can only be happy for you. Here we are in Rome and here your restaurant wasn't doing so well!

25/07/2025: Oggi al matrimonio di nostro nipote abbiamo vissuto una favola tutto magnifico dalla location che è da sogno sembra uscito dal libro di una favola abbiamo gustato piatto unici nella loro bontà e qualità tutto poi grazie ad uno staff eccellente e attento... 26/07/2025: Disappointing experience and outrageous bill We asked the owner for recommendations, and he said he'd take care of it, offering appetizers and a selection of first courses. Nothing was agreed upon in detail; we just trusted him. In the end, we ended up with a bill of €470 for five people, including a few appetizers, two simple pasta dishes, and a round of Spritz. The most absurd detail? €200 for just two first courses. This was absolutely out of this world, especially considering we'd visited other restaurants in the area with much more reasonable prices and similar, if not superior, quality. We felt like we'd been ripped off just because we were tourists. We're sure locals would never have been given such a low bill. Be careful: always ask for pricing details before accepting verbal offers, and check the receipt carefully before paying. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and we won't be returning.

15/08/2025: My cousin, mom and I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was fantastic so much so I had to order a second dish of the linguine pasta that was with muscles. I would 10000% recommend this restaurant to anyone that will be coming to this area.

07/09/2025: We went there on Sunday for lunch. After waiting an hour for an appetizer, it arrived incomplete. They charged us for everything in full, and on top of that, they even charged a cover charge for an 18-month-old child. A truly terrible experience. NEVER AGAIN!

19/08/2025: I was there today, August 15th, the food was decent. There was an endless wait; we waited 45 minutes just to take our order, the same amount of time for each course, absurd. Some tables that arrived after us were served first. There was a lack of staff to supervise the dining room. Terrible value for money. We had scialatielli (overcooked, to boot), and the seafood basically had three mussels and lots of empty clam shells. I've never seen anything like it. Terrible service. I don't recommend it. And I forgot, no receipt for almost everyone.

19/08/2025: I always hate being critical and try not to leave negative reviews; I'd rather refrain, but I can't give this place 4 stars. The only positive is the view of the fish counter, but little else. The limited menu, another positive, doesn't quite live up to the expectations of the food. Among the dishes I ate, there was a sautéed dish with mussels that weren't cleaned properly; I ate because I was hungry. The flavor was more or less absent. The service wasn't fantastic, but it wasn't terrible either, and at least there were a few smiles. The main problem is the smell of fried food, which reminds me of a cheap Chinese restaurant. Maybe you'll have better luck with the fish, which seems to be the specialty. This criticism is also strong because I asked for advice on the quality of the products (since I'm annoying), and if they had suggested something else, I would certainly have changed my mind. In my opinion, it was a negative experience, and one to avoid.

17/08/2025: If I had to find just one word to describe this review, I'd say "Go!" The place is located in a square, and if you go during the day, there are umbrellas so you can eat in the shade. It's a family-run restaurant, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The food is simple in ingredients, but exquisite in flavor. The price, as you can see from the photo, is very reasonable for the quality of the fish and the food. There's even free parking just a few steps from the restaurant, among the many nearby streets. I highly recommend going, and I'll definitely be back as soon as I can. I also recommend the tuna and mint pasta, because it's a combination you're unlikely to find elsewhere. If you're still deciding, call and book—don't worry.

13/08/2025: We had dinner that evening with appetizers of octopus, fried fish, and mixed fried local pasta with tomato sauce. Unfortunately, the octopus wasn't fresh... The fish were acceptable but definitely not the freshest. The pasta was mediocre. Prices were average. We definitely won't be returning.
