30/09/2025: I'm sharing my very positive experience! We were four of us at this restaurant on July 11, 2025. The welcome was typically touristy, but the restaurant actually offered impeccable service, good food, and excellent value. It's a shame about the portions, which were really small.

14/09/2025: A successful evening in this quiet restaurant, cozy and romantic atmosphere on the terrace, a beautiful large table with a good wine, we particularly appreciated the nicely decorated and flavorful antipasti, as well as the generous and gourmet first courses of pasta with seafood. A treat!

12/09/2025: We had dinner with our two children at this charming restaurant, to say the least. Everything was meticulously designed, and it felt like we'd stepped back in time. Excellent service; the owner was able to advise us without ever being intrusive. The food was quality and portions were excellent. An explosion of unexpected flavors: the mussels with nduja sauce were amazing, not to mention the baby octopus, a tuna tartare so delicious and so well-accompanied that I've never had in my life. Delicious pistachio and scampi risotto, and last but not least, the double-cooked octopus with sweet and sour pepper sauce. The wine selection was also excellent. I can only say it was an experience I'll never forget because everything was perfect: the location, the service, the quality, and the flavor. See you soon.

05/10/2025: Charming place located in the narrow streets of the historic center, good food, fast and friendly service

04/10/2025: We had already eaten at this restaurant three years ago and loved it. We went back today and it's still the same. Top notch from start to finish! Beautiful ambiance both inside and out, very friendly staff, and the dishes coming out of the kitchen are perfect! And the prices for this delicious food are very fair! Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: We ordered an Insalata Tropeana, but there seemed to be some confusion: at first a simple tomato and onion salad was brought, and then another bowl, closer to what the menu described. On the bill it appeared as two salads, although only one had been ordered, which was a bit awkward to clarify. Everything else was tasty and enjoyable, so hopefully in the future such situations can be double-checked more carefully — especially when serving guests in English.

23/09/2025: Very nice, quiet and welcoming restaurant. I ate a very good and light pizza. I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back.

22/09/2025: We had dinner at this splendid restaurant, with private parking and very convenient access. The quality of the food, the pleasant atmosphere, and the knowledgeable and kind staff convinced us to return again. The entrees were superb, but the pizza reached levels we've only experienced in Naples. If you're in Tropea, you can't miss the experience of trying every dish on the menu.

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.

23/08/2025: Excellent quality food, fresh ingredients, and excellent seafood spaghetti. I should point out that I tried to book by phone and was told there was no room until three days later. When I walked by and asked, just to be sure, they gave me a table at 7:30 PM. We shared some courses, which were served separately. Great customer service, perhaps even too much. I was pleasantly surprised that in an AIC-certified restaurant, which is dedicated to gluten-free dining, there was a €3 surcharge for each gluten-free dish served, in addition to a €3 cover charge per person. This didn't happen in other restaurants that were kind enough to prepare gluten-free meals for a celiac, despite not being AIC-certified. Overall, a pleasant dinner.

05/10/2025: My husband and I went for dinner a few weeks ago. The place is nice, but we ordered ravioli and only got gnocchi. I ordered slow-cooked black pig medallions, so the meat should have been incredibly tender, but it was actually tough and grilled. Furthermore, I found a toothpick in the medallion that wasn't part of the dish, and they didn't even know why it was there. The prices aren't in line with the quality of the dishes. Nothing special.

05/10/2025: A very good choice in Tropea. We ate very well, especially the salt-baked sea bass, which was spectacular. Friendly service. Exceptional dining room with sea views. Very good!

21/09/2025: ❌ Terrible experience. The place is dirty, the glasses are visibly stained, and we found bugs and hair in the salad bowl. The food was poor quality, and hygiene leaves much to be desired. I won't return, and I don't recommend it. They have two kitchens, and the food in one is probably poor, given the price.

19/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant. The location is very nice, but the table we were assigned wasn't up to par: a small, makeshift table with no tablecloth and paper placemats, definitely less well-kept than the others. We chose not to immediately point out the inconvenience so as not to ruin the evening, and we mentioned it to the cashier, who was understanding, but we were surprised that no one thought to find a better solution throughout the dinner. The food was decent, the pasta a bit overcooked, and the presentation of the dishes left a bit to be desired. The service seemed disorganized: despite having radios to communicate with each other, the staff continued to shout among the tables, giving the impression that they were more concerned with clearing out seats than ensuring a pleasant experience for customers. In short, a place with interesting potential, but one that could significantly improve its service organization and attention to detail. Regarding the restaurant's response, I'd like to point out that the wait was never a problem: we were in no rush to be seated. Contrary to what was stated, we were never offered the choice between waiting or sitting elsewhere. A few minutes later, two women who arrived after us were immediately seated at a newly available table. It's not a matter of waiting, but of lack of transparency in management. Being treated this way is disappointing, and your response is equally so.
