21/06/2025: Very good food, attentive, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Seafood salad with octopus, calamari and shrimp with a strong taste. Scialatielli Regno delle due Sicilie are nothing short of amazing. When the fish is fresh and of excellent quality you can taste it right away. Highly recommended!

20/06/2025: Like every year, we come to Praia a Mare for the holidays.. And it is a ritual to stop by to eat in this magnificent place.. Exceptional food with a beautiful welcome from all the staff.. What can I say, the best restaurant in the area

01/05/2025: Today is a holiday and most restaurants are closed. We were just passing by and wanted to eat! This restaurant has low ratings, but it was open. And we are happy!, this is the best restaurant during these three days of our stay in Italy (Naples, Matera..). Excellent service, high quality products and expertly prepared. The price is absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to take a photo.. The food was served in a high-class restaurant. Thank you and prosperity to you!

23/04/2025: We ate on Easter Monday, the dishes were poor and not of high quality, the wine was paid for separately from the menu, except that the waiter at the beginning only asked us if we preferred red or white wine, so do you think they will have included it in the menu? Instead, in the end we paid €24 for the bottle without being asked to make a choice, and then we asked for an orange soda and they didn't have any. All in all, very disappointing, you sum it up.

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.

26/04/2025: Posto finora perfetto stasera tanta delusione. 2 paccheri all astice 70€ ove in questi non c era nessun connubio. Non è una questione economica ma solamente pura mancanza di combinazione culinaria/soporifera. Non so se tornerò x dare un ulteriore chance. Saluti e buona vita

26/08/2024: If you want to eat something good and fresh and above all fried at the moment, this is the right place. Exceptional fried prawns and calamari, fried anchovies the best!!!! Octopus with potatoes, swordfish and aubergines.... I've tasted everything, there isn't a dish that isn't a masterpiece. Super friendly and competent staff. 👍👍👍

25/08/2024: A fish shop that, at lunchtime, transforms into a small restaurant. The products are very fresh and cooked on the spot, as can easily be verified given that the kitchen is open to view.

09/05/2025: On the way along the sea to the train station, I smelled a wonderful smell of grilled fish. I had to follow this and was able to indulge my appetite here. The mixed fried platter was very good and just right for a small appetite. The price was very reasonable. The service quick. I can recommend the restaurant.

28/04/2025: We stayed here on April 25th. There was the fixed menu option: 45 euros per person excluding drinks: starter, first course, second course, coffee and dessert. I must say everything was plentiful and delicious. The pasta with aubergines and swordfish is excellent, as is the fried food. The location is beautiful, a few steps from some rocks on the beach. Service was a little slow but there were a lot of people and all in all it was pleasant.

04/05/2025: Oltre alla professionalità e delicatezza del personale (che ho sempre riscontrato ogni qual volta ho fatto loro visita), sono rimasta veramente soddisfatta, per la prima volta, del mio pranzo da persona vegana. Il cibo, oltre a essere super squisito, era abbondante e al pari delle persone onnivore che erano con me. Sono rimasta così contenta che ho deciso, di mia spontanea volontà, di scrivere questa recensione (cosa che non faccio mai). Continuate così. 🥰🌱

26/04/2025: Porzioni molto scarse rispetto al prezzo pagato. Rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente insoddisfacente. Non lo consiglio e non tornerò.

11/05/2025: We ended up in this little place to have lunch, we sat down and after 20 minutes they came to take the order given that they don't have a menu and the waitress lists the dishes of the day with the surprise prices...... And in any case we order a drink and after having asked for the glasses three times seeing as they were missing on the table I took them from a nearby table in all this 40 minutes pass to bring the first courses and let's say that within 1 hour we managed to start eating given that only they were there very few people, another 15 minutes for the second course but I must say that the dishes were really good, nothing to say about the quality of the food, in fact the frying was very light, this only takes the compliments I gave but for the rest........ leaves something to be desired for a place with so much potential

17/06/2025: Delicious fish dinner... delicate but tasty dishes, raw materials enhanced to the maximum, simple but elegant dishes. Service never intrusive but still attentive and always pleasant. Compliments!

15/06/2025: So there were good people but we had to run away because of the hygiene of the place if you are tourists who are not very interested in hygiene, it is a perfect place

03/05/2025: Buon ristorante di pesce con piatti curati e servizio di garbo. La tartare è sicuramente da provare. È un posto in cui piace fermarmi per un rilassante break quando passo da Trebisacce.

10/03/2025: Location senza particolarità ma il personale è gentile e accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza che è risultata mediocre( è presente anche il menù ristorante), un impasto base, senza alveolature, bassa e con poco cornicione. Positivo il prezzo perchè è contenuto

11/05/2025: Breathtaking view of the famous Paola Ts. 90s style location that still looks great. The first courses are good, especially the "Maria Teresa" trofie and the grill is good (26 euros). The starter seemed a little lackluster to me. Everything else ok!

04/05/2025: Consigliatoci dalla titolare del b&b in cui abbiamo alloggiato è stato perfetto ! Certamente anche senza alcuna raccomandazione sia le portate che il servizio sono stati eccellenti.....Complimenti! l'accoglienza calabrese è quanto di meglio si possa elogiare da queste parti..

07/04/2025: Locale molto buono, con interessante menù di carne e di pesce. Siamo stati molto bene e, malgrado fosse affollato, il servizio è stato efficiente e veloce.
