02/04/2024: È sempre un esperienza unica. Vado abbastanza spesso al Riva e spero sempre di trovare qualcosa che non va ma trovo invece una macchina perfetta. Sorrisi, simpatia, cordialità, professionalità, Un menù di pesce che lascia l'imbarazzo della scelta, una carta dei vini che accontenta tutti i gusti. Materia prima di ottima qualità, il tutto cucinato a regola d'arte. I camerieri sono cordiali e pongono attenzione al tavolo senza essere invadenti. Musica da piano bar bellissima e al giusto volume che non copre la conversione al tavolo. Il locale è pulito. Questa orchestra è diretta dal sig. Gallo, persona simpaticissima, che vigila su tutto e superbo padrone di casa. . Finiti con il caffè, non finisce l’offerta del Riva. Sulla spiaggia di fronte al mare, inizia la musica per ballare, sedersi sulle poltrone e conversare amabilmente guardando il tramonto. In conclusione si trascorre un intera giornata coccolati.
02/04/2024: Tutto perfetto, location cibo e personale. Al tramonto tutto diventa magico. Spendida l'animazione che offre varietà di generi musicali. Ci ritornerò.

30/08/2023: La qualità e non la quantità e’ di base. Abbiamo iniziato con antipasto di mare, porzione n.3 per ogni cosa, tutto fresco e buono. A seguire tartane di tonno semplice buona e fresca. ottimi tutti i primi vedi foto. Il cameriere chiamato Capitano. Ottimo locale padrone brava persona, cordiale e disponibile nello spiegare i menu del giorno. Consigliato pesce fresco e crudi da provare.

ordered a plate of mixed raw appetizer, I must say excellent
very fresh prawns as well as the scampi which were truly excellent in all the tastings.
Then I had some delicious seared tuna with drops of balsamic vinegar.
Excellent national wine cellar
I think it is one of the best quality fresh fish restaurants for those who love fish in Reggio.
I don't know the price as I was hosted by some local people.
Highly recommended

22/10/2023: Kann nicht nachvollziehen was dem Bewerter vor mir widerfahren ist, ich kann nichts davon bestätigen.
Service sehr freundlich, flott und gut organisiert. Das Essen- Fisch, Salat, Nudeln, Foccacia-war ausgezeichnet.
Die Atmosphäre dazu ist als Krönung zu sehen.

02/11/2023: Amazing vibe with delicious food. Outside seating area is magical. I recommend to try gnocchi and grilled octopus with mashed potatoes. So tasty!

20/01/2024: Cena di lavoro infrasettimanale con colleghi e clienti. Nel locale c’eravamo solo noi. Posto molto semplice, che da molto l’idea di cucina locale. Sono specializzati in pesce con alcune proposte anche di terra. Ho mangiato antipasti misti, un trancio di pesce spada ed un tortino caldo al cioccolato fondente. Buona qualità, gli ospiti sono rimasti contenti

03/10/2023: I had dinner at this location on Saturday 30 September 2023.
We booked (for 4 people) in the afternoon.
Upon our arrival the waiter immediately seated us at the assigned table outside (rather small).
We ordered a total of 2 pizzas, a seafood risotto, a tuna Tropeana, a grilled fish and 2 bottles of water.
I ate my deviled pizza and honestly it was a disappointment: soulless dough (pressed, thin and leathery); the filling was very poor and without personality (it looked like a frozen margherita).
I tasted the tuna alla Tropeana: the dish looked like a small pile of homogeneous tomato sauce, well hidden by a small slice of tuna with a non-uniform thickness of 1 to 0.5 cm.
Assuming that the tuna was fresh, drowning it in that amount of tomato sauce certainly didn't enhance it. A few black olives and capers didn't give any character to the dish (16 euros).
Grilled fish: 1 prawn;
small thin slice of sword; a thin slice of tuna and 5 pieces of squid (18 euros). The seafood risotto was decent.
I show up at the checkout: total 85 euros. I was asked if I would like to pay in cash.
I asked, “What changes?”
The lady replies: "I would give you a little discount" I ask: "How much?"
"I'd give her 80"
I reply: "It would be better if we all paid taxes: I pay with a debit card."
This last thing infuriated me even more than the miserable dinner.
Subsequently I expressed my complaints about the quality and quantity in the dishes.
They replied that they didn't realize when they were plating that the tuna was so scarce.
Making fun of tourists is not good.
I am writing this review because I would like certain incorrect behaviors to no longer occur.
I won't be going back anyway.
02/10/2023: Abbiamo prenotato (per 4 persone) nel pomeriggio.
Al nostro arrivo il cameriere ci ha fatto immediatamente accomodare al tavolo assegnato all'esterno (piuttosto piccolo).
Abbiamo ordinato complessivamente 2 pizze, un risotto marinaro, un tonno alla tropeana, una grigliata di pesce e 2 bottiglie di acqua.
Io ho mangiato la mia pizza alla diavola e sinceramente è stata una delusione: impasto senza anima ( pressato, sottile e coriaceo); la farcitura molto scarsa e senza personalità (sembrava una margherita surgelata).
Ho assaggiato il tonno alla Tropeana: il piatto si presentava come un mucchietto di salsa di pomodoro omogenea, ben nascosta una piccola fetta di tonno con spessore non uniforme da cm 1 a 0,5.
Dando per scontato che il tonno fosse fresco, sicuramente annegandolo in quel quantitativo di passata di pomodoro non si è valorizzato. Qualche oliva nera e cappero non hanno dato nessun carattere al piatto (16 euro).
La grigliata di pesce: 1 gamberone;
piccola fetta sottile di spada; una sottiletta di tonno e 5 pezzetti di calamaro (18 euro). Il risotto marinaro era discreto.
Mi presento alla cassa: totale 85 euro. Mi viene chiesto se avrei voluto pagare in contanti.
Ho chiesto: "cosa cambia?"
La signora mi risponde: "le farei un po' di sconto" Chiedo:"Quanto?"
"Le farei 80"
Rispondo: "Le tasse sarebbe meglio che le pagassimo tutti: pago col bancomat".
Questa ultima cosa mi ha fatto infuriare ancora di più della cena penosa.
Successivamente ho esternato le mie lamentele per la qualità e quantità nei piatti.
Mi hanno risposto che non si erano accorti all'impiattamento che il tonno fosse così scarso.
Prendere in giro i turisti non porta bene.
Scrivo questa recensione perché vorrei che certi comportamenti scorretti non si verificassero più.
Io comunque non ci tornerò.

17/03/2024: I was deeply disappointed by the culinary experience at the seafood restaurant L'OASI. Ordering the seafood risotto, I expected to be transported by an explosion of marine flavours, but instead I found myself floating in a sea of disappointment. The dish was more like a regular risotto than an authentic seafood delight, with so little seafood I could count it on one hand. It is clear that the place relies more on its name than on the quality of the dishes it offers. I can't help but highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and fulfilling dining experience.
15/03/2024: Excellent experience, very fresh fish and excellently cooked. Well-stocked wine list, all the staff are friendly and welcoming, which never hurts. See you soon.

22/10/2023: Overall a TRAGEDY! Staff not competent! We received incorrect information about beach towels, they were supposed to be available on the beach, but it turned out that they didn't know anything and we would have to go to the reception (which is quite far and uphill) and someone else there gave us 2 towels than the day before. When leaving, it turned out that the towels were charged an additional €2 each, which no one informed us about in advance (we didn't pay!). Breakfast is a disaster! Old croissant, some pieces of dough on the plates from the previous day, you can see dried pieces. Coffee... from a machine plus powdered milk, all gray in color, taste unknown. In a country where there is a barista at every gas station and makes great coffee and you also have fresh croissants... this hotel was a disaster. In addition, you can also try mortadella, bacon and scrambled eggs... we didn't decide because the appearance alone was repulsive. There were also fruits, i.e. apples - sour, just not good, and canned peaches! The worst breakfasts I've ever had. And there were also Juices from a carton, probably diluted with water - tasteless! The rooms are nothing special, big and that's all, no equipment, only 2 glasses. The beach is nothing special, narrow, sand and gravel. It is worth going a few kilometers outside the hotel and there are beautiful beaches. When checking out, they wanted to add some tax to us, which was not mentioned during the reservation, and we did not pay it. The service was very unprofessional and not nice. They only spoke Italian and were nervous when we asked them to speak English. They didn't even say goodbye! Never again! You can find 100% better places in Italy.
18/10/2023: It is very beautiful, many interesting plants, the staff are nice, everything is clean. Amazing panorama, hotel on the sea shore, very clear water where it is very nice to swim.

The patience of the waiter boys was to be rewarded, because we invaded the space to be able to serve the wonderful dishes and without saying a word they calmly maneuvered in the middle of about fifty people who they danced. Everything excellent, fresh, clean... from fish to meat...

17/02/2024: Locale ben tenuto, pulito e accogliente, personale gentile e pratico.
Abbiamo mangiato del buon pesce, dagli antipasti (anche crudità buonissime) ai primi che ci hanno consigliato, secondi e dolci.
Anche la Carta dei vini era all'altezza.
Speso poco meno di 60 euro a testa ma mangiato bene e abbondante.
Consigliato vivamente...
