The first courses were good, the mussel soup was good, we didn't take the second courses, but I was a bit surprised to see very little fried calamari, with small calamari... very disappointing...
We went to this restaurant because it was recommended to us by 2 out of 3 people.
The price seemed a bit too high to me.
This is my opinion.
Go but know that the fried food leaves much to be desired.
05/07/2025: Ordered swordfish mixed salad.
Sparkling water.. the girl arrives with a water on tap, I immediately ask to change it with a sealed one, she brings bread and a small plate with an oily red substance, she puts it down and leaves, without describing the dish, what is it? Sweet, spicy? What does it contain? If one is celiac or intolerant? Zero knowledge, I noticed every time the kitchen door opened, the staff all without headphones, even people sitting at tables. Who came in and out at will, even behind the bar counter. Probably relatives..
No, it's not for me. This is the third one I've rejected at Le Castella, there aren't hundreds of them..

18/06/2025: and say? It is without a doubt the best restaurant in the city. The food is excellent, of the highest quality, with attention to every detail. A perfect culinary experience, of a superior level. I would go back every day.
PS: the dessert is simply indescribable, it really leaves you speechless!
15/06/2025: Great experience at Ercole, everyone very friendly and good food, small plus the girl who sang live really good. Worth a visit if you are in these parts.

Very fresh fish, refined, accurate and decidedly very good dishes. Excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended.

25/04/2025: Enchanting place, a sublime location, but unfortunately the dishes really leave something to be desired. From appetizer to dessert, unfortunately nothing is saved.
It is perceived that there is not a kitchen up to par behind it. SIN!
23/04/2025: When you can have a sublime and delicious lunch on a beautiful veranda with the castle in front, your eyes on the sea and the sound of the waves... what more could you want?
Definitely recommended!!!!

Mangiare un piatto a base di pesce stando coi piedi sul mare e la vista verso l orizzonte è un esperienza unica, piatti deliziosi, impossibile non apprezzare i dolci fatti in casa, si mangiano già solo con gli occhi! Torneremo sicuramente

23/04/2025: Gambero Rosso es un lugar encantador en una ubicación costera perfecta en Crotone. Disfrutamos especialmente de las tardes soleadas en su balcón con vistas al mar, ¡un ambiente tan relajante! La pasta con gambas estaba deliciosa, las bebidas eran geniales, y el servicio era cálido y acogedor. Muchas gracias al propietario, su esposa, y especialmente Francesco por hacer nuestras visitas tan agradable!

26/04/2025: Se si cerca un ristorante comodo, alle porte del centro storico, tranquillo e soprattutto di qualità, questo è il posto giusto. La saletta in cui abbiamo mangiato è stato un ottimo luogo dove cenare in famiglia e festeggiare la mia Laurea, super tranquillo, piacevole musica in sottofondo molto rilassante. Il punto forte è sicuramente la qualità del cibo, il menu a base di pesce fresco è stato eccezionale, a partire dai molti antipasti e a finire con primi e secondi che ci hanno completamente saziato. Qualità-prezzo davvero invidiabile
Leonardo e Teresa super gentili durante tutta la serata, non ci hanno fatto mai mancare nulla.
Torneremo sicuramente!!

02/02/2025: Locale elegante, ordinato, tranquillo e accogliente. Menù che varia ogni giorno in base al pescato. Formula a prezzo fisso, e ad un costo ragionevole. Piatti semplici e gustosi. Amplierei la carta dei vini.
23/09/2024: Vengo a mangiare in questo ristorante tutte le volte che ne ho l’occasione e la possibilità.
L’atmosfera e l’accoglienza sono impeccabili, il ristorante è elegante e pulito (caratteristica da non sottovalutare considerando altri locali).
La cucina è straordinaria, i sapori sono afrodisiaci e la qualità è sorprendente.
Un menù originale con pietanze sempre diverse e fresche, indice di una proprietaria, nonché cuoca, a cui importa che il cliente possa sempre mangiare bene. Questo fa onore a lei e al suo ristorante.
Mi permetto di definirlo come il miglior ristorante di Crotone e dintorni.
Super consigliato!

07/06/2025: If you go to Crotone you can't NOT pass by here and then if you pass by you will pass by again several times because you will be won over by the food, the friendliness and the family atmosphere. Highly recommended 😊
28/05/2025: Top quality fish, the atmosphere is quite informal but don't be fooled, the chef is very good, he comes to the table and suggests what he has fresh for that day. Few tables but well served.
