A friend recommended this restaurant to me....I'd say it was excellent advice... A very nice restaurant, right on the sea....we had appetizers, first courses, and second courses...all seafood-based, excellent and super fresh.... I highly recommend it for the quality-price ratio...truly excellent...

Delicious and generous fish first courses. Spectacular mixed fried fish. Walnut ice cream... pure enjoyment. The Prosecco (rosé) could be improved. Reasonable prices. Friendly and helpful service, if a little inattentive. I'll book again immediately for the fish soup. UPDATE 04/20/2026: We returned after a few years and the quality has dropped significantly, in every respect, leaving us quite disappointed.

Invited by friends, it had been many years since I'd been here to Ancora. What can I say? It's always excellent, fresh fish, beautiful dining room with soft colors, all overlooking the sea. Dining here is truly enjoyable, especially on a sunny day. Thanks to Pino for recommending us, and especially thanks to Simone for his hospitality. I recommend it for its quality, courtesy, and good price. But above all, they make you feel at home.

08/12/2025: We ate well, all seafood-based, the stew was excellent, I found a splinter of the shell in the peppered mussels, the price of 36 euros per person for an appetizer, first course, and second course was very good, it's a shame you can't choose à la carte; if you want just a second course or a first course you pay the same amount, the staff were friendly, the bathrooms were very large, and the nice thing was, there were fresh flowers. It's a shame there isn't a very visible sign outside.
26/10/2025: This restaurant is a bit unremarkable, both in terms of location and menu. It offers seafood dishes with a €29 fixed-price menu featuring a choice of three from nine options. The dishes are well-prepared, but there's no hint of traditional ingredients, and the menu is a bit out of place.
