07/08/2025: Purtroppo un’esperienza deludente Siamo stati all’Osteria Al Solito Posto con buone aspettative, ma purtroppo il pasto non è stato all’altezza. Il primo piatto è stato decisamente insoddisfacente: la pasta era scotta e il condimento a base di pesce sembrava più una crema, talmente frullato da perdere ogni consistenza e sapore autentico. La frittura di pesce, poi, è stata la vera delusione: completamente attaccata, come se fosse stata cucinata frettolosamente, e piena di spine, nonostante nel menù fosse chiaramente indicato che ne era priva. Servizio nella media, ma la qualità dei piatti non giustifica una seconda visita. Mi auguro migliorino, ma per ora non lo consiglierei.

13/07/2025: Ottima cena a base di pesce. Servizio gentile e veloce ( con il locale pieno), porzioni abbondanti, prezzi nella media. Abbiamo provato: gnocchi le Fantine (con vongole e zucchine), pasta fresca allo scoglio, frittura di calamari (abbondante e ben cotta), pepata di cozze (una sperlunga basta per 2/3 persone). Lo consiglio! Torneremo certamente.

13/08/2025: The service we received didn't live up to the quality of the food, which turned out to be very good. When we ordered, many of the typical appetizers listed on the menu were missing (at 1:15 PM), so we grabbed what was left in the kitchen. I wanted to order a second course later, but the person taking our orders rushed us, telling us to order right away, and he didn't speak very politely. The wait time was unspeakable, having waited almost two hours from ordering to eat the first course.

13/08/2025: Very good food, but the service needs updating: seated outside in the heat despite having booked, we waited two hours and the owner was rude to take our orders (he should learn from his waiter, who tried to save a little). This experience delayed us quite a bit, as we ate only a few items on the menu and lacked any mental flexibility in our organization.

17/08/2025: Excellent food, well-cooked, tasty, and fresh. The waiters were kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, but it was packed with customers. I had spaghetti and crudo with shrimp and zucchini, which was really good.

17/08/2025: We had a very, very good lunch. Everything was delicious. We waited a bit because we hadn't booked, so we were served a bit further back, but the chef is a master!

13/08/2025: I'm staying the week of August 15th. The hotel is beautiful, with a large terrace and clean rooms, thanks to the housekeeping staff. It's a truly wonderful place, with lots of nightlife. Congratulations, we're very happy.

18/08/2025: Bar and restaurant with an indoor dining area and outdoor seating. It's family-run, which means they're always willing to accommodate any customer request. In fact, without consulting a menu, we simply asked for what we'd like, and our request was promptly granted (there were two of us). The atmosphere is almost homely, although I would recommend a more organized distribution of tasks. In any case, the lunch was enjoyable, and the price is very reasonable, considering the time. Tip: don't miss the artisanal gelato, made on site!

29/08/2025: She found this place online. It's not a touristy place, it's small, but it offers delicious street food. Large, generously filled sandwiches with local ingredients. The owner is kind and helpful. We had two sandwiches, a beer, and an iced tea, for 15 euros.

21/08/2025: A true hidden gem! This snack bar, run by a senior citizen, has it all: simplicity, authenticity, and cuisine made with heart. We tried the pampanella sandwich, and it was simply divine, tasty, and generous. The place doesn't look like much, with its two benches and a table outside, and a few tables inside, but that's precisely what makes it so charming: no frills, just good food and a sincere welcome. The server is remarkably kind, always with a smile, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. An unpretentious place, but not to be missed if you love good homemade sandwiches. I'll definitely go back before leaving!

03/08/2025: A group of us were in town from the US for a wedding. When we went to the grocery store the morning of the wedding and the woman at the register asked us to come to her restaurant, Gold. We said we would go the following day and we are so glad we did. The food was amazing. The wine we had was great. The atmosphere was cool and calm. The best part (apart from the food) was the service. The gentleman who served us- I believe one of the owners- was kind and patient and even brought in a friend to help translate our English and his Italian. They went above and beyond to make for a wonderful last night in Castelmauro. We enjoyed our meal and our experience and will remember it fondly.

09/08/2025: A small restaurant in a historic area with excellent local products served quickly and tastefully. Delicious meats and cheeses. The owner cooks, serves, and calculates the bill in a flash.
