18/03/2026: Mexican restaurant in the center of Piacenza. The wait staff is friendly, and the food is good, but a bit pricey for small portions. The cheese-stuffed jalapeño croquettes, for example, cost €7.50 and come in only four small pieces. The margarita definitely doesn't measure up to the Margherita I've had at other places.

28/06/2026: Terrible experience. It was a scorching hot day in Aosta. The waitress, seemingly disoriented, told us there was no air conditioning in the restaurant, so we sat at a table near the entrance to get some fresh air. We ordered two drinks and she told us they didn't have ice. We should have already figured it out and left, but instead we ordered a burger whose bun was clearly industrial, accompanied by very salty, low-quality fries, and a basmati rice dish with zucchini, shrimp, and pineapple, all of which was missing, topped with an excessive amount of sauces that didn't match the rest of the ingredients at all. The result was a jumble of flavors with a poor result. The basmati rice hadn't even been "separated" before serving and was scrunched up, a typical appearance of it having been cooked many hours earlier. The quality/price ratio was too high. Avoid!

16/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, reasonably priced especially for Forte Dei Marmi, good food, impeccable service, and a truly pleasant atmosphere, it's my go-to for a simple but not banal dinner.

11/02/2026: I'll start by saying I hadn't booked, so they took me to a table facing the kitchen exit... The chef yelled for the dishes and there was a strong smell of frying oil (check the exhaust filters). It was a classic burger joint with grilled meat, good quality and in line with the prices. Service was a bit chaotic. I asked for slightly sparkling water, but there was no answer. I ordered a still one and a sparkling one... then, paying at the cashier, I saw a full fridge with slightly sparkling water... At the end of my burger, which was good, I asked for "in a bit" and they brought me a coffee for them in a bit = 45 seconds later... Did they need a table? No, the room was semi-occupied... Hmm... Anyway, for a carefree evening, it's okay.

06/07/2026: Venue: A very charming and quaint restaurant for aperitifs and dinners, with tables and sofas available outside. I definitely prefer the inside, which is very well-decorated and atmospheric for evenings with friends or as a couple. It's also excellent for business dinners. Food: The menu is varied, with a strong emphasis on meat. I had a bacon-and-cheese burger, which wasn't the best I've ever had, and was rather standard compared to what I expected. The accompanying fries, however, were very good. Service: The restaurant's strong point: super professional and attentive service. Experienced waiters, an added bonus that makes all the difference. Bill: Prices are reasonable for the quality of the venue. My burger and fries were €18.

05/07/2026: I'm sorry to give only two stars to a place that could have gotten more. Let me explain... The outside temperature is 37 degrees. We go in for an aperitif around 6:30 PM and there's no air conditioning. We're soaked in sweat! The place is very nice inside, but it's located in a semi-industrial area with only warehouses around it—a dingy place! First drink is 15 euros!!!!! We're crazy! Did you know that a Spritz on the Aperol terrace in Piazza del Duomo in Milan costs 18 euros? There's no comparison between admiring the Milan Cathedral from the second floor of a historic building and looking out over a warehouse on the outskirts of Milan! Otherwise, the staff are friendly, the buffet is acceptable, but it's not enough to justify certain prices. I think there's potential, but the pricing needs to be reconsidered; there's no value for money. I'm sure they'll be able to do better.

16/03/2026: One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. We made a reservation after months of not returning, and were immediately told that, having chosen the 8:00 PM service, the table would have to be vacated by 9:30 PM. A somewhat unpleasant rule, but clear, so we accepted it. It's a shame that the restaurant demands punctuality from its customers without being able to uphold it in the kitchen: we arrived at 8:00 PM sharp, ordered at 8:08 PM, and the main course arrived at 9:05 PM. With these times, imposing a double service becomes simply ridiculous. At 9:20 PM, the pressure to get us up begins: a waiter asks for the bill, then shortly afterward we're told with some urgency that there are people waiting for our table. Out of politeness, we pay immediately and leave, even leaving some still-full Margarita glasses that had already been paid for. Total: €95 for two, plus a child, to eat in a rush and be escorted to the door. The most sordid detail, however, comes later. Once outside, I linger for a few minutes and notice that no one is sitting at our table. No one. At 9:40 PM, it was still empty. So not only did they rush us while we were still eating, but they did so using an obviously false rationale. I returned to calmly point out that there is a civilized way to treat people, but the response I received was: "You're rude." I'd say this perfectly sums up the current management style: arrogant, rude, and far inferior to the past. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

18/04/2026: A sure thing, perhaps the best margarita of all the Mexican ones I've tried so far (frozen, regular, mango...). It's a shame the menu isn't my cup of tea; it's limited and over-the-top. What little they do offer, however, is good and tasty (even from someone who's tried real Mexican food). I recommend the chili and the cinco de tacos! Friendly and approachable waitresses. Clean place, Latin music, colors and paintings reminiscent of Mexican style.

23/02/2026: If you're passing through Arvier, Osteria Del Viandante is definitely worth a stop, especially for some surprising culinary offerings. The Food: The real revelation was the guacamole: creamy, balanced, and honestly among the best I've ever had. The pizzas are also completely convincing: the crust has a unique texture, different from the classic Neapolitan or thin crust, but the overall flavor is excellent and the ingredients are quality. Ambience and Service: The atmosphere is welcoming, simple, and with a decidedly family-friendly feel that makes you feel at ease. One small logistical point: there are no coat hangers, which can be inconvenient, especially in the winter months. Note on Drinks: A sore point for beer lovers. The selection is very limited: only Moretti blonde beer is available on tap, and only 33cl bottles are available in bottles, with no options for those who prefer red or craft beers. Logistics and Plus: A plus for electric car travelers: there's an EV charging station right in the parking lot in front. Plus, parking is plentiful and easy to find, making parking stress-free. 09/05/2026: A place with just a few tables, the food is good... without any particular expectations. You order and sit at the few available tables, and woe betide anyone who sits down before ordering! There's a kind employee who, with a very nervous expression, makes you get up without any exceptions, even if you're with a newborn. Maximum respect for their rule, but at least a modicum of understanding, given that we arrived very early. Also, since you care about this, I recommend creating a nice large sheet of paper to put under the counter and outside. So when annoying people like me arrive, they go to the front of the room. An older lady was even sitting outside and, given the strong wind, she went inside... WHAT THE HECK IS... Anyway, it's all subjective.

09/01/2026: We love coming here because the food is good. Over the past two months, we've noticed that the crisis has also affected the quantity of dishes, which has halved, while keeping the prices the same. Really disappointed by this. Go back to the same level as two months ago so as not to lose regular customers. I'd also like to add that today, after twenty-one minutes of waiting at the entrance, the staff continued to charge everyone who left their table, even if they weren't already at the cash register, rather than seating us. We've changed locations for dinner. A real shame.

28/12/2025: The waitresses were incredibly unfriendly; they practically kicked us out of their restaurant while we were eating. We waited 30 minutes for two quesadillas. Absolutely not recommended!
