14/02/2025: Quiet evening with friends at the Mexican. Colorful tables and an environment with attention to detail, with references to Mexican tradition. We were uncertain between the à la carte menu and the all you can eat menu at 24.00 euros. We weren't that hungry and chose à la carte (regretting it later!). We tried the amazing beef burritos. The chicken ones are also excellent. We tried the tacos and the spicy salsas. What about the excellent sangria with apples and melon! Finally we finished with the chocolate churros.

17/02/2025: I spent an evening in El Fogon with a group of my friends, without a doubt a wonderful evening!! Spectacular food (spiced correctly, ensuring all the flavors of the dish worked in harmony). Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!!

15/02/2025: I honestly don't understand the negative reviews... my family and I have been customers of El Fogon for over 10 years, and we've always had a great time, now it feels like we're family! Of course, tastes are subjective, but personally I think it is the best Mexican restaurant in the whole province and probably beyond! The quality of the dishes is exceptional, given by their experience in typical cuisine and above all by their passion, which pushes them to seek out typical and particular ingredients! The girls are always very kind and knowledgeable, ready to suggest the best choice based on your tastes. It's very true that the dishes arrive quickly and this is a huge advantage, because this means that they have a line that works great! So if you are looking for an excellent Mexican restaurant in Sassari, be sure, they are the best!

25/02/2025: Let me start by saying that we made the telephone reservation...we arrived at 8.15pm...we started eating at 10.30pm after several reminders...there were 4 of us with three identical orders and one different one...they didn't even bring them together...or three, it was the 4th after another 15 minutes with various other reminders...that said, when it arrived from the very kind waitress accompanied by an apotheonic excuse because the meat here is the thing that with two and a half hours the cow went to Mexico and they come back already slaughtered...plus a grain of coarse salt is inedible...stone on top

15/02/2025: non sono stato personalmente a cena ma ci sono state (più volte) le mie figlie, volevo solo ringraziarli perché hanno avuto nei miei confronti (pur non conoscendomi) una sensibilità e una disponibilità PAZZESCA, hanno fatto qualcosa di assolutamente fuori dagli schemi. Mi trovo in ospedale e volevo offrire la cena alle mie figlie facendole una sorpresa, ho chiamato e mi hanno riservato un trattamento che non mi sarei MAI aspettato. Un conto è essere imprenditori e un conto è essere persone di cuore. GRAZIE, GRAZIE MILLE per la cortesia che mi avete riservato. So che siete un ristorante di successo e ne capisco anche il perchè! Oltre alla qualità del cibo e all'ottimo rapporto tra prezzo e quantità quello che ha fatto (per me) la differenza è il vostro atteggiamento nei miei confronti! È qualcosa che esula dal lavoro e rientra nella sfera umana. Non so come ringraziarvi, di certo verrò a conoscervi di persona. Per ora avete la mia gratitudine.

01/03/2025: A great place, perhaps my favourite, among those I've tried, which offer this cuisine. Everything cooked well and with fantastic combinations, I ate chicken cooked with cheese and a spectacular burrito. The staff is present, professional and friendly and we felt at ease. A place I will definitely return to, highly recommended.

06/03/2025: Unfortunately I have to say that my experience with Aura was terrible, I had to deal with incompetent and very rude controllers/workers, I am a student who in the morning before going to school looks for a place to be quiet with his friends instead of staying in the cold, but having met these workers who always threatened us (we are minors) and did not answer our questions believing they were superior without opening a dialogue, we were also insulted in various languages ​​foreign to us coming from the mouth of the worker, I hope they can be get fired as soon as possible. Bring in kids who just want to rest for 30 minutes in the morning before going to school and don't treat them badly, believing who knows who that if you have a salary it's also thanks to our families.

13/03/2025: Last March 2nd I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family, it was a day to forget and I will never set foot there again... pitiful service, we arrived at 12.40, it was around 3pm and two guests, with specific needs, had still not received their order. 05/03/2025: Ho prenotato con largo anticipo un tavolo per due la sera di san Valentino. Al nostro arrivo al locale (qualche minuto prima dell’orario concordato) era stracolmo di gente…ci saranno state una ventina di persone in fila ad aspettare le prenotazioni di mezz’ora prima. Una coppia in un tavolo che stava aspettando da non si sa quanto quando ha chiesto alla cameriera di poter ordinare gli è stato risposto che dovevano aspettare perché doveva fare ancora un paio di cose. Alla risposta i due se ne sono andati scocciati. Noi abbiamo aspettato in fila in mezzo alle venti persone per un po e poi siamo andati a ma giare da un’altra parte. Insomma esperienza negativa non tanto per la qualità del cibo ma per l’organizzazione e la non cura dei clienti.
