14/03/2026: First time at this restaurant, everything was VERY good, both the sandwich and the milkshake! Excellent service, very kind and helpful.

04/03/2026: We stopped in because we were passing through and because we were passionate about the restaurant. We were hoping to find the same menu as the one in DueCarrare (PD). There were four of us, including a child. The menu was quite extensive, with options to suit everyone's tastes, from young and old to adults. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. There were two "sore" points, however. The first, perhaps understandable, was the guy who welcomes you, specifying that they were working two shifts and that we would have to vacate the table by 9:00 PM. This was incomprehensible considering the restaurant was at 50% capacity anyway, but it's understandable if they let you know in advance. The second was the refillable drinks, which are highly discouraged!!! You pay €4.90 once, they bring you a 400ml glass and you go to the machine to get the drinks you want from the Coca-Cola family (Coca Sprite Fanta Fuzetea etc) with a thousand flavours... but all watered down and flat... awful...

29/12/2025: I can only comment on the food. First, points for getting a table without a reservation. The ambiance and food weren't anything special, but they were okay. I wouldn't recommend the burrito. The pizza and burgers were alright. The schnitzel was good. The service wasn't great; it felt like being processed on an assembly line. In the end, it wasn't anything special, and I wouldn't come back.

02/02/2026: A little pricey but competitive with other Mexican restaurants. The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. The chicken burrito and crema catalana are recommended.

10/01/2026: A very casual little place to enjoy Mexican cuisine. Excellent value and service. The presentation could be a little better, but the informal, traditional atmosphere is a real pleasure!

23/02/2026: Experience Mexico directly at Picoteo! Silvia and her staff are professional and very kind. The wonderful cuisine and cocktails complement these dishes, allowing you to experience the colors and flavors of this little restaurant. We're looking forward to the opening in Modena. ✌️✌️

31/03/2026: We went to this Mexican restaurant and had a great experience. The place is truly welcoming and tastefully decorated, instantly putting you in the right mood without being chaotic. The food was very good, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Everything was cooked to perfection (and the margaritas were no exception!). The atmosphere was lively and pleasant, perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends. The staff was friendly and the service was just right. If you're looking for good Mexican food in a refined setting, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!

31/03/2026: I've been to this place several times; it's one of my favorites. Every detail is meticulously crafted, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The dishes are delicious; you can really taste the care they take, and the salsas are delicious, adding that authentic Mexican touch that makes all the difference. I've had chicken fajitas, a ranchero burrito, and of course the frozen margarita... absolutely top-notch! I'll be back a thousand times over.

15/12/2025: Dear friends of Mexican food in Italy, we were here with a group of 14 and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. It was my first time here, but certainly not my last. There's a large, impressive bar in the entrance area. They have delicious cocktails, and the food is also very good. If you're in a group, I recommend sharing different appetizers so you can try and enjoy a variety of dishes. For my main course, I had the Mole Negro with chocolate. Absolutely delicious! The ambiance is authentically Mexican shabby chic. CONCLUSION: Definitely worth a visit, even if it's just for a cocktail.

27/11/2025: The atmosphere is a bit run-down; I think it could use a little refresh. The staff was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and polite—no complaints! The price is very reasonable, and the food is good, but it all depends on what you order. Some dishes were very tasty, while others were a bit disappointing.

08/02/2026: I've been a regular customer for two years now, especially at Sunday lunchtime, when they serve typical Veronese dishes like bollito e pearà (boiled beef with pear) or Venetian risotto. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the prices are truly fair. Also, find me another place in the lower Veronese area where you can eat delicious risotto with white Alba truffle on Sundays—there isn't one! 10/10

19/01/2026: They're not answering the phone. I called five times in one evening. I get in the car and go to order directly, only to find everything closed and the lights off... Answer: 1. If I Google you, your landline number comes up. How do I know you also have WhatsApp? You could otherwise set up call forwarding there instead of expecting people to know all your contacts. 2. Don't assume people follow you on social media; that's not fair, and it's certainly not a given that it occurs to me that you're closed for vacation. 3. About the sign: do you really expect me to drive into your parking lot at night with all the lights off to notice a sign? Couldn't you have put it on the outside fence? I agree with you about using the service, which I would have gladly done yesterday, by the way.

21/12/2025: Misleading Advertising Unfriendly service from the start: the waiter seemed annoyed, especially when one of us only ordered a drink. A Sunday promotion was clearly visible on the table (a free slice of cake with an app subscription). I inquired before ordering, but it was postponed until later. After dinner, having signed up for the app, I asked for the advertised service. I laughed, consulted with colleagues, and the final response was: "The promotion probably isn't active on Sundays." Ironic, considering the promotion was clearly Sunday-only. Only later did I read other reviews that reported that the promotional offers at the entrance and on the table linens were never applied. At this point, it doesn't seem like an isolated case, but rather misleading communication. A shame, because clarity and a minimum of courtesy would be enough to avoid such experiences.

08/12/2025: We've been held hostage in here for over an hour; they're probably slaughtering the cow and waiting for the bread to rise. I don't know what star to give the food; it hasn't arrived yet...

14/12/2025: Unfortunately, the only redeeming feature of the dinner was the drinks (and the themed decor, which wasn't bad). Perhaps our expectations of a Mexican restaurant were too high, but when my tacos—"with tender chicken strips" (quote)—arrived, and I found myself with a reconstituted product that tasted like chicken, and the pulled pork was (perhaps) tasteless pork, more like baby food, I realized our mistake. Clearly, the staff isn't to blame for this; it's a company policy. But the rest of the dinner (empanadas, chili cheese, queso nachos, quesadillas, beef jerky) wasn't any better: all barely warmed to a crisp, served with indifference. When the menu specifies that the images "are purely indicative," they mean it: what's served has nothing to do with the photos of mouthwatering delicacies. By then, we'd ordered, we were hungry, it was late, and I never waste food. When the girl at the cashier asked me, without even looking at me, "Is everything okay?" I honestly didn't know where to begin, and since they were already sweeping the floor around the few remaining occupied tables, I thought a response would fall on deaf ears. So I'll leave my response here for those who, unlike me, have the good sense to read two reviews before choosing a place to eat. If it had been cheaper, I would have been more aware of the poor quality. At least now we know where NOT to eat in the future!
