11/01/2026: We ate paella on the beach. Excellent and plentiful, they gave us a doggy bag to take home the leftovers. Excellent staff.

14/12/2025: Unfortunately, the only redeeming feature of the dinner was the drinks (and the themed decor, which wasn't bad). Perhaps our expectations of a Mexican restaurant were too high, but when my tacos—"with tender chicken strips" (quote)—arrived, and I found myself with a reconstituted product that tasted like chicken, and the pulled pork was (perhaps) tasteless pork, more like baby food, I realized our mistake. Clearly, the staff isn't to blame for this; it's a company policy. But the rest of the dinner (empanadas, chili cheese, queso nachos, quesadillas, beef jerky) wasn't any better: all barely warmed to a crisp, served with indifference. When the menu specifies that the images "are purely indicative," they mean it: what's served has nothing to do with the photos of mouthwatering delicacies. By then, we'd ordered, we were hungry, it was late, and I never waste food. When the girl at the cashier asked me, without even looking at me, "Is everything okay?" I honestly didn't know where to begin, and since they were already sweeping the floor around the few remaining occupied tables, I thought a response would fall on deaf ears. So I'll leave my response here for those who, unlike me, have the good sense to read two reviews before choosing a place to eat. If it had been cheaper, I would have been more aware of the poor quality. At least now we know where NOT to eat in the future!

13/12/2025: First time here, and was pleasantly surprised by both the delicious food and the ambiance. Everything was very nice.

21/12/2025: Misleading Advertising Unfriendly service from the start: the waiter seemed annoyed, especially when one of us only ordered a drink. A Sunday promotion was clearly visible on the table (a free slice of cake with an app subscription). I inquired before ordering, but it was postponed until later. After dinner, having signed up for the app, I asked for the advertised service. I laughed, consulted with colleagues, and the final response was: "The promotion probably isn't active on Sundays." Ironic, considering the promotion was clearly Sunday-only. Only later did I read other reviews that reported that the promotional offers at the entrance and on the table linens were never applied. At this point, it doesn't seem like an isolated case, but rather misleading communication. A shame, because clarity and a minimum of courtesy would be enough to avoid such experiences.

08/12/2025: We've been held hostage in here for over an hour; they're probably slaughtering the cow and waiting for the bread to rise. I don't know what star to give the food; it hasn't arrived yet...

25/02/2026: The food is good, but it's a bit pricey, especially considering the quantity. The quality is there, though. The nachos and fajitas are very good. The wait is a bit long.

01/02/2026: The restaurant is cold for winter, so eating in a jacket isn't a pleasure. The food wasn't entirely satisfying, very greasy and cooked to the point of burnt (also due to the very small cut of the chicken), which meant it lost its proper flavor. The bill was above expectations and the overall setting. I'll probably return for a second review.

08/02/2026: Went on a Saturday night, it was crowded and therefore a bit crowded due to the layout, but nothing different than many other places. Location: Good food, very fast and courteous service. The waitresses were friendly and welcoming, an experience worth repeating. Very nice decor.

05/02/2026: We ordered a dish of the day (a calamarata with bottarga and clams) and a plain seafood risotto. Both dishes were very well prepared. The house white wine was a pleasant surprise, releasing aromas of ripe fruit. The service was impeccable, with a piping hot focaccia served, included in the cover charge.

31/01/2026: Excellent food quality. Great location in the center of Sassari for both a quick lunch and dinner. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

04/12/2025: I highly recommend this place. I ordered the pulled pork burger, and it was anything but pulled pork. The meat wasn't shredded, but cubed, and it was also tough. So it seems like the chef is practicing his pulled pork preparation. Two half platters with 6 very thin slices of cheese and mixed salami for €25. Normally, we'd go to another restaurant further down the road. Because it was closed, we came to this place, which was our first and last time today. Unfortunately, running a restaurant isn't for everyone. It would be advisable to adjust prices to your capabilities. Two people paid €75, which I'd say isn't worth it for the service and quality we received, even though we only had two medium beers and a Coke for drinks.

29/08/2025: Anyone who doesn't always want to eat in the most crowded areas, but still wants to be just a few minutes' walk from the city center, shouldn't miss this. Unassuming from the outside, but the food and staff are first-class.

06/01/2026: Alma Latina is one of those restaurants I return to often and it never disappoints. The food is truly delicious, the service is always impeccable, fast and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The tacos are literally addictive! It's undoubtedly one of my absolute favorite places in Turin. Highly recommended.

05/01/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant, chosen because there were celiacs in the group. The food didn't particularly impress me, but what disappointed me most was the waitress's attitude, which was very snobbish and rude. She responded arrogantly on several occasions, and among the various dishes served, she got one wrong. This, considering there were 12 of us, can happen. What I found unacceptable, however, was the way she handled the mistake: when the boy whose dish was intended pointed out that it wasn't the correct one, she rudely insisted, claiming she was sure. Regardless of her tone, she might at least have doubted whether she'd misunderstood, given that she'd taken the order from the other side of such a large table. In reality, we all clearly heard the correct order, especially since the boy had chosen a dish with shrimp since he doesn't eat chicken, while the one served contained chicken. To avoid arguments, we decided to keep the wrong dish anyway, but despite this, when she brought the correct one, she did so with even more rudeness. I didn't like this attitude at all: even if she were right (which she wasn't), good manners should be fundamental for anyone who works with the public; she didn't even consider whether she might be wrong. Obviously, I won't be returning to this restaurant. I'm giving the service one star because it's impossible to give zero.

05/03/2026: Excellent concept and an appealing menu offering a wide range of choices. The food is certainly good quality, but for every dish I've tried, I've had a better equivalent at a restaurant specifically dedicated to that type of cuisine. That doesn't mean the dishes aren't delicious; it can be a great option if you want to experience cuisines from very different geographical areas in one place. It's a shame there's no restroom (being a cooking studio, they don't have one for customers).

01/02/2026: My dad and I came in at 7:00 PM, and at 7:25 PM they still hadn't come to take our order, not even for drinks. I understand that the place was busy and crowded, but the problem wasn't just the wait, but also the rude staff. We ended up leaving.
