Agave In Treviglio

Very nice location, set in a garden that creates a lovely atmosphere in the summer. The food was average, neither excellent nor infamous. On a negative note, the service: from the moment we entered, we weren't greeted; they barely noticed us, and even at the table, the service was the bare minimum, without a smile or a welcoming gesture. Among the entire staff, we found only one young man who was more welcoming, but unfortunately, the girl and the guy with glasses barely looked us in the eye, and their smiles were missing (an important consideration when working with the public, in my opinion). We're sorry to have to highlight these negatives, but we're sure they can be areas for improvement in the future.

Mexican restaurant. We celebrated my son's thirtieth birthday here, and it was a complete success. We were very pleased with the food, and not just the food. The kindness, courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism of Silvana and her daughter Alessia make this restaurant, which enjoys a truly beautiful location in the center of Treviglio, a real highlight. From the appetizers to the paella-style meat, to the dessert (truly delicious) and the sauces, everything is truly exceptional. The attached bar is well stocked with alcoholic beverages and appetizers, as well as the coffee, which is truly delicious. The very courteous and friendly service staff responded promptly to our requests. The restrooms are clean. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual dinner or for events.

Beautiful location, elegant without being too busy, with attention to detail, a very aesthetic outdoor dining area. It's a shame the music is definitely too loud for conversation. The food is varied, good, and tasty, with decent portions. Prices are a bit high (€10 for a portion of avocado nachos and €16 for a vegetable burrito). The service is a real flaw: excruciatingly slow and completely lacking in attention, despite the waiters' politeness. The location is more important than the price.

We hadn't been here in almost three years. But we already liked it then. For our anniversary, we decided to come back. It was a Saturday night, and the place was very busy. The food was always plentiful. I like the idea of ​​"making your own fajtas." The service was quick. The atmosphere was simple, yet pleasant and informal.

We chose to dine at Agave once again, a place synonymous with quality and tranquility for us. We started with an aperitif of sangria and nachos, followed by seafood paella. You can dine in the courtyard, in a quiet setting, just steps from the center.

RECOMMENDED...even if... To be clear: the price of the aperitif (Campari spritz) is really low, €6, so everything else is justifiable. However, don't write "MEXICAN APERITIF" at the entrance. What?! A few nachos with a grape salsa that tasted like nothing, pieces of cold focaccia, two mini crostini with something on top, and some mini rolls that I don't know what they are. All of it (called a TAGLIERE) served on a platter! Beans, guacamole, enchiladas...etc., etc., where were they? Are they expensive? Fine, raise the price! Otherwise, don't write "MEXICAN APERITIF," it's simple. The service is prompt and fast, and the staff is friendly, if a little rushed. The outdoor area, very pleasant, is located in the courtyard of a villa, topped with vines. The cocktails are quite well made.

1/4/2026 = An excellent bar for aperitifs and coffee, but in the evening it comes to life with the Mexican Restaurant, highly recommended for true lovers... of this country's cuisine.
