19/04/2025: Ho chiesto di eliminare la carne da una Taco Salad e mi è stato detto che il piatto non avrebbe avuto senso senza questa, avrei preferito se, con sincerità, mi avessero detto che il piatto era già pronto e quindi ne n modificabile. Per esigenze alimentari sono stata quindi costretta ad ordinare una bowl di guacamole e una porzione di patatine fritte (buono, per carità! ma 22 euro per tutto ciò mi sembra un po’ esagerato). Nota dolente sul servizio: ci è stato chiesto se volessimo degli altri nachos (l’omaggio della casa, servito con delle banali salsine) e abbiamo detto di sì; evidentemente però non era un omaggio dato che abbiamo dovuto pagare 6 euro per questo refill. Non lo consiglio, in giro per Torino ci sono ristoranti Messicani senza dubbio migliori di questo.

04/02/2025: Piacevole cena a base di margarita, chancleta e altri piatti tipici. Carni buonissime, eccezionali i mini churros ripieni di cioccolato. Locale piccolo ma accogliente (nel we è necessario prenotare) e personale gentile, molto disponibile e competente. Torneremo per provare altri piatti

18/05/2025: Alas, a rather negative experience. Convinced by the relatively high reviews we let ourselves be tempted but, apart from an extremely kind, attentive and fast service, the food left much to be desired. Extremely greasy and consequently particularly heavy tacos (completely covering the filling), tortillas with a dough of dubious quality, churros bordering on edible, these too extremely heavy and greasy. Very disappointed, too bad.

22/03/2025: I've been to this place, being a lover of Mexican and quite objective in my opinions, I highly recommend not going when you're feeling languid, The preparations (arrived in 3 seconds counted and therefore certainly pre-cooked and reheated) present a terrible quality/quantity price, We entered hungry and left even hungrier than when we entered, The price of strips of Angus meat, onions and various vegetables is 15 euros: A fairly sustainable price as well as there were 50g of meat served on a plate with a diameter of barely 20cm. Terrible experience, I hope you can improve👍

18/03/2025: Cucina molto buona. Conduzione familiare, gestori molto carini e gentili. Carne alla brace🤩 preparata in sala in un camino aperto enorme. Prezzi nella norma. 45€ una costata, verdure grigliate, acqua, un calice di ripasso e tiramisù Tornerò appena sarò di nuovo in zona Ho letto le recensioni e davvero non capisco la gente. I prezzi sono assolutamente allineati, scordiamoci di mangiare fresco e genuino per 25€ a testa, alle porte di Brescia. La carne è buona, i gestori gentili, il locale caldo, piacevole e particolare. I dolci fatti in casa...boh, davvero non comprendo. Chi dice che un'osteria costa meno, forse ha mangiato in una bettola con cibo da grande distribuzione e dolci della Bindi. Chi dice che sono scortesi...mah, non direi proprio. Bravi i gestori, ottimo lavoro. 👍 PS: la chicca conclusiva. C'è persino chi si è lamentato perché non hanno chiesto di esibire il tanto agognato lascia passare verde, nel periodo buio...🤷🏻‍♂️

17/05/2025: It's not the first time I've been to Tijuana, but what a disappointment this last time. The nightmare began because now you order everything online and you have to beg for a waitress to come and help you (very kind, it must be said); and yet even so we found ourselves with an alcoholic piña colada (even though Virgin had been requested, a Coke Zero (which was supposed to be normal), a dish for a friend of mine didn't arrive, and they charged us things we hadn't ordered. If it hadn't been for the fact that the waitresses were more than kind, more victims than us of a system that should make work easier, we would have taken it, paid the cover charge and left. Last negative note, what chaos with screaming children in the place (they placed the play area to entertain them, but soundproof it, because I left with a headache)... For the rest, the food was good but the disorganization ruined the evening...

20/05/2025: I just went to this place with my girlfriend and I had a great time with the new head waiter! A thousand compliments! Both my girlfriend and I were very satisfied! Super welcoming and friendly, a thousand compliments! We will definitely be back thanks to her!

18/05/2025: There were 9 of us at Mexicali in Lecco and unfortunately the evening was anything but positive. The wait times were very long, the dishes did not arrive at the same time and two people in the group did not receive their dish. We had to point this out to the staff, and the dishes arrived 30 minutes later than the others. As if that were not enough, the bill was also wrong, with extra dishes that we had neither ordered nor received. Luckily, once the mistake was pointed out, they removed them, but it was really the icing on the cake of an already frustrating evening. Too bad, because the place has potential, but the service was completely disorganized. An experience that certainly does not encourage us to return.
