01/12/2025: Refined yet traditional cuisine just steps from the Cisano lakefront. The location is obviously spectacular. Impeccable service. The open kitchen makes everything even more welcoming. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

18/11/2025: Dinner on a Tuesday evening in November. A few customers but very satisfied, us first. Mussels appetizer and sliced ​​pizza. Followed by a giant skewer of Argentine shrimp, a well-made, not-so-greasy mixed fry of fish and zucchini accompanied by a citrusy mayonnaise, and truly excellent grilled lake trout. Good wine and professional, attentive service. A very elegant lakeside location. Must try and return.

02/11/2025: We've been before and came back to celebrate my birthday. It never disappoints! Excellent meat, sparkling service, and the friendliness of all the staff! A wide selection of wines to accompany the dishes! We'll definitely be back!

21/10/2025: We went there two evenings in a row and plan to go back the day after tomorrow because we enjoyed it so much. We were there with three children, and we all loved it. The pizza was delicious, the steak with sauce was amazing, the gnocchi were super tasty, and the guinea fowl was super tender with a nice crispy skin. The service was great; everyone was super child-friendly and very attentive. We felt very comfortable as a family, which unfortunately isn't always the case. We were very impressed and would recommend it to everyone.

21/10/2025: Very nice restaurant. It was full, too cold outside, and we wanted to sit inside. So they opened another room for us, and we had a wonderful spot. Very friendly staff, very attentive. We enjoyed the food immensely.

The restaurant is small and welcoming, so reservations are recommended: this allows the staff to pay even more attention to customers, making the experience even more enjoyable. The service was quick and courteous, with attentive and helpful staff. The value for money was also excellent: tasty dishes, well-presented, and prepared with quality ingredients. In short, a place we'll definitely return to: a family atmosphere, excellent cuisine, and great customer service. Highly recommended! ❤️

16/11/2025: Fantastic experience!!! Anna, the cook, is excellent! Sassari, her husband, is excellent with customers. The menu offers a limited but very interesting selection, with a great wine list and excellent options to finish. Excellent quality and price. BRAVO!!!

06/10/2025: Sunday lunch during a trip to Bardolino. Good dishes; we tried the lake fish ones. The dishes were tasty, not too elaborate to showcase the ingredients. Good value. Not a typical tourist trap. Excellent service and atmosphere.

During our stay at the wine festival in Bardolino, we followed our hotel's recommendation and discovered this wonderful trattoria – and what a find it was! We were two couples and felt warmly welcomed from the very first moment. We'd especially like to mention Lorenzo, who made the evening perfect with his charming manner, first-class advice, and service you could only wish for. You immediately notice that he's passionate about his job – attentive but never intrusive, always with a smile and a suitable wine recommendation at hand. The food? A dream! Everything is handmade, lovingly prepared down to the smallest detail – from the fresh pasta to the delicious desserts. Every bite tasted of pure Italy, of tradition and true passion for cooking. An evening full of enjoyment, warmth, and Italian flair – we'll definitely be back! Thank you, Lorenzo, and the entire team – you made our stay unforgettable! ❤️🇮🇹

08/11/2025: We were here for lunch today: we had hot appetizers, crudités, spaghetti with clams, and lemon and strawberry sorbet. We sat on the terrace overlooking the lake, enjoying the beautiful day and the view of Lake Garda. The service of the talented and beautiful Cornelia made our lunch perfect.

30/10/2025: A group of us came here to celebrate my partners 40th from the UK. We had an amazing evening at this restaurant! The atmosphere was brilliant, the food was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was our best night in Bardolino by far. The finer details from the owner and staff were fabulous. A complimentary welcome glass of prosecco as well as some home made liquor at the end of the evening. They also came out singing happy birthday to my partner with a sign and a sparkler. We all said that if we visited Bardolino again in the future, we would all want ro visit Ristorante Piccolo Doge again! Thank you so much for such a fun and tasty evening.

14/10/2025: The restaurant is beautiful! However, our food (5 adults and 3 children) didn't arrive at the same time. This was especially annoying for the children. I was expecting something other than spinach from the cooked vegetables. I also thought the birds in the cage outside were simply not kept in a species-appropriate manner these days. This may all be nitpicking, but with above-average prices, it's fair to say. :-) Overall, though, we were satisfied with the quality of the food, and the service was pleasant.

27/10/2025: Fantastic experience at this restaurant. I had the tagliolini with lobster and a Prosecco reduction, and they were truly delicious. I also tried my friend's seafood dish: that, too, received top marks. The service was exceptional. The waiter even opened the lobster for me, a truly appreciated touch. An added bonus: they offer a welcome aperitif and even a amaro/sorbet at the end of the meal. The food was top-notch, and the staff was impeccable. I highly recommend it and will be back soon!

26/10/2025: Superlative service! Extremely patient. We had two dogs, two children, and a newborn, and they didn't make any faces or comments whatsoever. We requested a menu change, and they accommodated us. The prices were completely reasonable; in fact, the menu saves you a lot! We'll definitely be back!

From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the exceptionally kind and attentive staff, who made us feel instantly at home. We each chose the four-course menu and received excellent guidance and thoughtful recommendations, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food itself was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish reflected a deep passion for cooking — you could taste the love and care in every bite. It was slow food at its very best: refined, authentic, and prepared with remarkable attention to detail. The entire evening was simply unforgettable, and we are sincerely grateful for such an experience. Without a doubt, we will return on our next visit to Bardolino, and we cannot recommend this outstanding restaurant highly enough.
