29/07/2025: On a fantastic day, I went up from Cervinia to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Taking three lifts on the Italian side and then the new cabin built on the Swiss side, you reach an altitude of 3,880 m. The adult fare is €125 round trip, but it's worth it. In good weather, you get a view of all the famous peaks. Kudos to Swiss engineering!

29/07/2025: Fantastic dinner with friends. The maître d' was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about everything. The staff were very friendly and approachable, despite the picturesque location. We paid very little for the delicious food we ate, including complimentary coffee and a digestive. We'll be back.

19/07/2025: When I lived in La Thuile, I couldn't wait to eat there as soon as I had the chance (at least once a month). If you're from the Courmayeur area or nearby and want to be pampered by excellent staff while eating fantastic meat, this is the place for you. It's the kind of place you bring out-of-town guests to make sure they make a great impression.

17/07/2025: Restaurant with a spacious outdoor terrace. Friendly and professional staff. Truly good food and generous portions. The desserts are truly delicious and fresh. Worth a visit if you're in the Courmayeur area. The prices are more than fair.

03/08/2025: Our local friend recommended Caesar Bar Restaurant, and it was a great spot, especially for families with kids. It’s super kid-friendly — there’s a soft playground inside, so you can actually enjoy your lunch or dinner in peace while the little ones play safely. The food is classic Italian — nothing fancy, but well done. The vongole and fried calamari were both very tasty. Overall, it’s a casual place with good food and excellent value for money. If you’re in Aosta with children, this place is definitely worth a visit.

12/07/2025: As soon as we arrived, the slightly older waitress did nothing but pressure us to order. We ordered inedible fried fish and a first course drowned in oil. We won't be returning.

15/08/2025: I choose to believe that this was a bad day for them. We arrived, after a long wait they threw us the menu without even looking to us. 15 min waiting and nothing happened…. No water, no bread, no “what do u want to order”, nothing. Any attempt to interact with the staff was ignored. We were “transparent” for the service even though we were sited in the middle of the main room. We decided to leave not before providing the feedback in a gentle manner. They chose to suggest us to go for a pizza. Rude (or sarcastic) manager. Indeed we went to a pizza place right after and the service, food and ambience was the well know good Italian vibe.

13/08/2025: Thank Mom and Dad for keeping the tradition of warm hospitality, service, and friendliness alive. The food doesn't live up to expectations and, unfortunately, is rather ordinary in quality and preparation.

11/08/2025: Extremely disappointing stay and worrying lack of security and respect I stayed at this hotel hoping to have a pleasant stay, but the experience turned into a nightmare. During my absence, I had the very unpleasant surprise of discovering that my luggage had been searched. The arrangement of my belongings had clearly been altered, and some personal belongings had been moved. This type of situation is deeply shocking and unacceptable, especially in a hotel that is supposed to offer comfort and security to its guests. When I reported the problem to the reception desk, the staff's reaction was more than disappointing. No clear explanation was given, and management didn't seem to take the situation seriously. Instead of trying to understand or reassure me, I felt as if my words were being minimized, or even doubted. This lack of professionalism is unworthy of a hotel that claims to welcome its guests in good conditions. A hotel isn't just a place to sleep; it's also a place where you should be able to leave your belongings in peace. Here, trust was completely broken. I felt unsafe for the rest of my stay, forced to guard my personal belongings and fearing for their safety. This ruined my trip and prevented me from enjoying my time there. In summary, I strongly advise against this establishment to anyone who values privacy, the security of their belongings, and a minimum of consideration from the staff. There are many other hotels that, for the same price or less, will treat their guests with honesty, professionalism, and respect. For my part, this is the last time I'll set foot here.

30/07/2025: Excellent location overlooking the valley and the Gran Paradiso glacier. The hotel is historic but somewhat rundown (old, faded furniture in the rooms and worn leather armchairs). I expected better for a hotel costing nearly €500 a day for a B&B. The service is good but not 5-star, with several shortcomings (the breakfast table was left with dirty papers and dishes while I was still there). Parking is cramped and not enough for all guests. There are four good restaurants, but some are overpriced. It gets a minimum rating primarily due to its location.

17/07/2025: Excellent from a culinary standpoint, with balanced dishes, bright colors, and above all, delicious food. But that little waiter, who I think is new, might not be told anything about picking his nose while serving tables, "fixing" his butt as he leaves the room, and when the experience is over, he starts laughing behind your backside with his colleagues. Apart from him, I highly recommend eating there because it's an exceptional place, but don't pay too much attention to the service, or you'll be disappointed.

04/08/2025: The pizzas were good, the prices were good, and the ingredients were fresh. But for a small plate of gnocchi to sample the local fontina and pancetta, they were too few, and supermarket-quality gnocchi with a sprinkling of sauce (pancetta on top) that didn't really taste good. It's a shame, because the photos looked more inviting. Maybe it was just unlucky times! The pizza was excellent.

07/07/2025: Traditional restaurant present for several decades. The menu is varied: from excellent pizzas to selected dishes prepared on the spot in the kitchen. We have been there several times both with family and friends ... and always satisfied. Acceptable prices, fast service, kind and attentive staff.

27/07/2025: Excellent food, excellent staff. I've had lunch on the terrace where people smoke in your face: absolutely intolerable. Regulations require a minimum of two meters between tables, and it's up to people's common sense to avoid smoking others. The surrounding restaurants don't have any ashtrays on the terrace; the owner should think about that... He certainly won't lose customers if he takes the ashtrays and throws them in the trash.
