13/04/2026: A fairly well-known trattoria in the center of Assisi. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. However, I can't say I had an excellent meal or that I was served like a gentleman; let's just say it was average. The strangozzi with truffles was bland and tasted very little like truffle. The salt that was missing from the strangozzi was in the rabbit cacciatore, which was almost unbearably salty. But what most influenced my rating was the response of the dark-haired waitress with glasses. When asked if there was any wine off the menu (which needs revising...), she replied: "If you don't like anything, drink water!" This response would have meant I should have given a 0, but I don't want to disparage or belittle the work of my colleagues in the dining room and kitchen, nor the hostess who was always courteous and kind. You just need to be more careful when speaking to customers.

08/04/2026: A real discovery. A place to savor authentic and genuine products served by exquisite, kind, and friendly staff. Excellent ingredients, prepared with love and dedication, respecting tradition. The dining room is warm and welcoming, with tables well-arranged and not too close together. The pigeon is one of the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended!!!

04/04/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch and ordered the 13 euro menu. I'd say it was plentiful and good... the staff were welcoming and super friendly... a rarity... congratulations!

14/03/2026: We only visited the restaurant as passing tourists, two couples, and ordered the tourist menu. The price was excellent, and the food was very tasty and well-portioned. The kitchen was spotless, and the restrooms were well-maintained. The young people at the tables were extremely courteous, extremely polite, and attentive. The owner's daughter, who is also a talented chef, was friendly and empathetic at the counter. Perfectly family-run, highly recommended. Reservations are recommended due to the large number of guests.

17/10/2025: We stopped by in May during our honeymoon and discovered a wonderful shop! The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and gracious: she let us taste everything with great enthusiasm, without ever making us feel in the way. The products, especially the wild boar ones, are exceptional! Congratulations for the quality and the welcome. Furthermore, with great courtesy, all the products we purchased were vacuum-packed for our return trip to Padua. Impeccable service, attentive to every detail. We will definitely be back! Special mention goes to Fabio, the charming owner who makes his guests (not customers, as we felt) feel at ease, helping us pair the dishes with excellent local wines. For anyone visiting Assisi, this is a must-see!
