28/08/2024: A fantastic dinner with a breathtaking view, but it's not just the location that makes this place a real gem.
Abundant dishes of excellent quality, typical cuisine with attention to detail and a refined menu. A special note of merit goes to Michele, who served us promptly, kindly and with great availability even though the place was full.
I recommend booking at least one day in advance in high season!
28/08/2024: The wonder of this location is well known, as is the attention paid to the menu. In my experience with a friend I also appreciated the availability when faced with a last minute booking change and the ability of the waiters to make a dinner special with professionalism and kindness

19/08/2024: Very nice restaurant, we ate the Umbrian specialties and they were all delicious. Excellent service, kind and helpful. We returned a second time after two days to try other dishes on the menu. Advised

Affordable prices.
To be looked for carefully because it is "hidden" in a small alley right in front of Piazza Santa Chiara, which does not immediately catch the eye.

24/07/2024: Restaurant in the heart of Assisi with very knowledgeable and kind staff. Average starters and desserts but more than excellent main courses: exceptional stuffed pasta and pigeon cooked to perfection. Very intimate, romantic and private environment.

17/08/2024: It should be noted that, on the advice of a hotelier, I tried to eat in this restaurant twice. The first time they didn't let me sit and they rejected me, telling me that the kitchen closed at 9.30pm, even though there were still a lot of people dining and waiting to be served. On the second attempt, they seat us and we have dinner peacefully. All good, excellent strangozzi and generous portions. Ok the location. However, I was very disappointed with both the cutting board and the text cake, the only discordant notes. The cutting board was quite poor and barely enough for one person. In my opinion, the price of the cutting board does not correspond at all to either the quantity or the quality of the dish.

09/08/2024: Giovannino is a free-range restaurant with a centenary history along the road that climbs from Assisi towards Gualdo Tadino.
A rich menu, lots of good stuff, generous portions, very affordable prices, welcomes a mix of humanity ranging from the foreign tourist to the local inhabitant.
Absolutely adorable.
To be reviewed not with stars, but with hearts. And in that case, five wouldn't be enough.
07/08/2024: We ate last night in this restaurant and I must say that the dishes were really of excellent quality, good service at the table, a little confusion upon arrival, not having booked, they told us to wait at least an hour but in 15 minutes a table became free, they said that everything was booked but honestly we had several empty tables around so everything else was fine, even the bill.

17/05/2024: Salumi e vino locale molto buoni da accompagnare con torta ai testi (tipica focaccia del posto) Buon servizio. Pochi tavoli alti con sgabelli quindi in giorni di grande affluenza non penso sia facile trovare posto per sedersi. Tanti prodotti in vendita
13/05/2024: Abbiamo consumato in questo negozio un assaggio di salumi e formaggi accompagnati dalla famosa e ottima torta al testo. Alessandro ci ha deliziato con i suoi prodotti. Veramente tutto di ottima qualità. Super consigliato per chi passa da Assisi. Molto fornito

01/04/2024: We went on Easter evening, what can I say, excellent food and maximum professionalism. The owner is kind and sociable. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. Ah, I forgot, they also gave us a ceramic baking dish from Assisi. See you next time
29/03/2024: Many times I have noticed this Trattoria, passing by in the car and I have never entered. This evening, I can say that it was a big mistake not to have stopped in the past years, because the food is wonderful, helpful staff, excellent service. there will be other future evenings at the Trattoria degli Angeli. 04/09/2024: We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The service provided by the host was exceptional—he was incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartments were comfortable, well-air-conditioned, and nicely maintained. The grounds, including the pool, were lovely and provided a great place to relax. While the location was a bit remote, there were charming small villages nearby to explore.
31/08/2024: Farmhouse surrounded by greenery just a few minutes drive from Assisi.
Ideal for perfect relaxation in contact with nature.
Large room with kitchenette complete with everything you need, air conditioning, fan and mosquito nets.
Free parking.
The structure is very beautiful, garden with large trees that provide beautiful shade throughout the day.
The swimming pool completes what is available to spend a day of rest.
Excellent restaurant available to guests.
Possibility of breakfast.
Eddie a great home owner.

26/08/2024: The place is very nice and welcoming. Even romantic.
Very kind and fast service.
We got the pizza for the kids and it was delicious, as was the focaccia with the cold cuts platter.
The pasta can be improved.
Still not bad.

The owners are friendly and nice.

16/08/2024: Servizio pessimo, ci hanno fatto aspettare tantissimo solo per l’antipasto.
Una volta arrivato l’antipasto, abbiamo dovuto aspettare un’ora, per far arrivare l’ordine.
Pizze che aveva portato all’inizio sbagliandosi, le ha riportate dopo un’ora, le stesse, scaldate.
Sconsigliatissimo

Il locale di sabato sera è pieno, nonostante ciò il servizio è stato rapido.
Il menù è molto vasto, difficile non trovare qualcosa di proprio gusto.
Pizza non cotta a legna, sottile ma buona.

Ristorante La Tavola Rotonda

28/08/2024: Forse siamo capitati nella serata sbagliata, attratti della buone recensioni siamo stati invece delusi. Antipasto scarso con fritti di bassa qualità, vino servito bollente e quando lo abbiamo fatto notare ci han detto che l'alternativa era il ghiaccio in quanto loro lo servono così, peccato che la seconda brocca ordinata sia arrivata fredda di frigo. Bastava dire alla prima che non avevano avuto il tempo di refrigerato e poi la scelta sarebbe stata la nostra. Ma questi sono dettagli. Pasta, arrivata dopo un'ora, di pessima qualità, pennette alla norcina con punte ancora fredde senza il benché minimo sapore di tartufo, ravioli burro e salvia che navigavano nel burro e scaldati male, e strangozzi alla tavola rotonda talmente scotta da essere immangiabili. Per non parlare dal scortesia, al momento del conto abbiamo fatto notare che avevano messo una coca cola in più (ordinata ma mai arrivata) la cameriera è andata a controllare sul tavolo per sincerarsi che dicevamo il vero. Ovviamente non torneremo più.

Prezzi bassi per qualità e quantità dei piatti.
