22/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant, just steps from the Basilica of San Francesco. It's a lovely terrace, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. They also offer gluten-free options (pasta and bread are suitable for celiacs). Highly recommended!

29/08/2025: We always return for the kindness of the staff (also attentive to children) and the typical local dishes they prepare. Access is a little awkward, but that's pretty normal in Assisi. The outdoor patio is beautiful.

10/09/2025: Absolutely delicious food! The staff speaks some English and is very kind. We ordered the regional ragu pasta and the fowl, both with the red house wine and a desert. Fully recommend and we hope to come back!

13/09/2025: In the heart of Assisi's historic center, at Vicolo della Volta Pinta, at number 3, is an excellent family-run restaurant. It's intimate and elegant, run by delightful people who love their work and invite you to sample fragrant dishes and new, sophisticated flavors, while still embracing Umbrian tradition. We were able to have lunch under the vaulted ceiling, where a lovely breeze caresses you, making our stop pleasant on a scorching day. We chose a caponata strudel with perfectly balanced flavors, truly amazing. We followed it with breaded cod meatballs on a saffron cream, garnished with berries, and lamb with baked potatoes. A quarter white, a quarter red, and coffee. Lunch in front of the Temple of Minerva was a unique experience, even though the restaurant itself offers a very welcoming atmosphere inside. Thank you for providing a moment of well-being.

21/08/2025: A trattoria with room options in Santa Maria degli Angeli, 3 km from Assisi. I stayed for two, one night with breakfast, and then dined there that evening. I had a very good set menu with a choice of starters, main courses, and side dishes. Breakfast was served at our tables. In addition to drinks (coffee, cappuccino, etc.), we also found croissants and braided pastries, toast, yogurt, jam, and Nutella on the table. The place is very charming, with a stone structure and just a few km from Assisi. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely be back. I recommend it to anyone visiting Assisi. The staff was very professional and friendly.

09/08/2025: We spent two nights at the agriturismo for a concert in the area. It was a truly pleasant stay. The pool is very relaxing with its view of the vineyard and the historic center of Assisi. The owner is very kind and helpful. The wine is excellent, and breakfast features refined, authentic products. For company, we had beautiful and friendly cats 🐱. Good night lighting if you return late at night, a detail that made us feel safe.

07/08/2025: We loved the authentic curry chicken dish prepared beautifully by Chef Sanjeev Kumar. The salad to start was fresh, flavourful with a special twist of spice. Chocolate mousse was delicious. We received a warm welcome and wonderful service from Tracy, and appreciated her wine suggestion which paired wonderfully with our meal. The space is cozy and inviting. All in all it was a very lovely time. Looking forward to returning again!

01/09/2025: If the restaurant's goal is to offer traditional Umbrian cuisine, the result falls short. I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review, but I hope it's constructive. The quality of the ingredients is below average, as is the preparation and service. The menu offers more confusing than varied options. It's very popular, despite the gourmet prices, which I don't think are justified.

22/08/2025: Now a regular stop when we visit Assisi, we've found the friendliness and good food here, which I believe are the key elements that keep me coming back. It's like savoring the flavors of home cooking, just like an Italian grandmother's, with that little something extra that makes everything even better.

19/07/2025: A small restaurant in the heart of Assisi, with just a few tables in an intimate space. Sometimes, when reservations exceed expectations, service can be a bit chaotic, considering the restaurant is run by just two people: a chef and a waitress. However, despite the chaos, the waitress does her best to ensure a pleasant experience, always remaining kind and helpful.
The food is good and the dishes are carefully prepared, demonstrating the chef's attention to detail and passion. It's a shame that yesterday the bread ran out at 8:40 PM, a frustrating detail, especially considering that the truffle-poached egg is one of the menu's signature dishes.
Despite this inconvenience, the quality-price ratio is excellent, thanks in part to a discount that made the meal even more affordable. Overall, a restaurant worth visiting, especially if you're willing to forgive a few small mistakes.
16/07/2025: We tried this little place based on the good reviews; it must be said right away that the dinner itself was average, with good, average dishes.
The problem, however, is dessert: €8 for three spoonfuls of tiramisu is excessive...

15/06/2025: È la seconda volta che mangio in questo posto, hanno un ottimo menu della tradizione umbra. La coratella era buonissima veramente,la straconsiglio. La pizza è la classica bassa e scrocchiarella come usa da noi ma forse poteva essere più cotta. Comunque una buona pizza a prezzi molto accessibili e così tutto il resto del menù. Locale con molti coperti ma il servizio è abituato a fare i numeri avendo uno staff molto numeroso. Bravi. Prezzi molto onesti

10/05/2025: Prodotti buoni e di qualità, l'unica pecca è stato il servizio, personale scoordinato tra di loro, richiamati più volte per sapere della comanda a che punto era, più di un'ora per avete il primo. A favore visto e riconosciuto il disguido, ci hanno applicato uno sconto sul conto finale. È stato ben apprezzato.
27/12/2024: Pranzo di Natale in famiglia. Menù fisso. Cibo molto buono e genuino, sfizioso e abbondante. Io e mio marito intolleranti al glutine e al latte. Sono stati davvero disponibili, cortesi e aperti alle nostre problematiche. Nessuno per il pranzo di Natale sarebbe venuto incontro alle nostre esigenze, adeguando il menù fisso.
Davvero davvero bravi e professionali. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.
Bravi. Come sempre torneremo!
