17/10/2025: We stopped by in May during our honeymoon and discovered a wonderful shop! The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and gracious: she let us taste everything with great enthusiasm, without ever making us feel in the way. The products, especially the wild boar ones, are exceptional! Congratulations for the quality and the welcome.
Furthermore, with great courtesy, all the products we purchased were vacuum-packed for our return trip to Padua.
Impeccable service, attentive to every detail. We will definitely be back!

Excellent quality ingredients, and one of the best torta al testo I've ever eaten.
Fair prices, and friendly and welcoming owners who are committed to maintaining the high quality of their products.

03/11/2025: The atmosphere is very beautiful, the service elegant and friendly, the food excellent, and the prices are average considering the beautiful location in the historic center of Assisi. My only complaint was that my plate of cappelletti was small, which I was a bit disappointed about, as they were very good.
27/10/2025: I loved it! Fresh and delicious pasta enjoyed on a charming terrace. Friendly service made everything perfect, and I hope to return to taste more of their meals and enjoy the experience again.

Excellent hospitality, truly delicious food, attentive table service, and what can I say, a breathtaking view.

16/12/2025: A unique place, with a very good à la carte menu. We had a great time and were welcomed by the staff more like guests than customers. And with recommendations on what to order, dedicated to local flavors.
Let yourself be carried away by the moment, put your phone on silent and take it away, and dedicate time to yourself and what's on your plate. 👌👌👌

14/12/2025: We were on an organized trip, a group of 40 people. Considering the number of people, I wasn't expecting much.
So I can excuse the poor quality of the dishes, but I expected at least a smile from the staff, even a fake one.
Also, be careful: the house wine is €6 (0.5 liter), as if it were made from the tears of St. Francis.
On the other hand, the potatoes were good.
If you're passing through Assisi, bring a sandwich or at least some wine.
17/10/2025: Very good legume soup. Rustic and welcoming atmosphere. Perfect service. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.

01/11/2025: The food here was amazing. They do a 2 course menu for €13 which was fantastic. The service was great, nice atmosphere and tasty food at an unbelievable price. It is a shame I did not discover it until my last night, I would have loved to return.

17/11/2025: A charming property surrounded by greenery, it has it all. Eddie, the manager, is truly kind and helpful, making you feel at home and offering advice on everything to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. Honestly, it's hard to find a better place. We stayed one night in November to visit Assisi, which is just a few minutes' drive away. It'll probably be even more beautiful in the summer, as there's a lovely pool. The apartment called "I Papaveri" on the upper floor is truly exquisite, welcoming, and equipped with every comfort. See you soon.

22/11/2025: I was in Assisi last weekend with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering the streets. Thanks to the very friendly and charming owner, we had a typical Umbrian culinary experience. We ordered fried artichokes and scrambled meat as appetizers, and for main courses, Norcina and an off-menu first course with creamed broccoli, bacon, and pecorino cheese. To round out our meal, we ordered a chocolate cake.
The restaurant is rustic and quite small but very welcoming.
09/11/2025: Owner Fabio offers exceptional hospitality and service. Excellent selection of ingredients! Everything was prepared with meticulous care by his wife. From appetizers to desserts, everything was impeccable. We had the pleasure of tasting traditional dishes that left us impressed and satisfied. Not at all touristy, but in a great location. It was a pleasure to spend Sunday lunch there. The place is also very quaint and well-kept. They are very welcoming, even with our four-legged friends. Highly recommended.

03/12/2025: This wonderful restaurant in Assisi is unique amongst the many fine restaurants on offer. It is small, warm and welcoming with exceptionally fresh and interesting dishes.The menu offers such a different selection compared to most others. I am sure you will love dining there as much as I did.
16/11/2025: Family dinner: good cured meats, delicious Norcina gnocchi, delicious spicy meatballs, white artichoke lasagna that needs revisiting (the artichokes lack flavor), good wine list, and a welcoming atmosphere. With free tables, seating people (with reservations) who show up 15 minutes early is certainly a polite gesture. It's a shame to be told no now! Overall, everything was more than adequate.

15/06/2025: È la seconda volta che mangio in questo posto, hanno un ottimo menu della tradizione umbra. La coratella era buonissima veramente,la straconsiglio. La pizza è la classica bassa e scrocchiarella come usa da noi ma forse poteva essere più cotta. Comunque una buona pizza a prezzi molto accessibili e così tutto il resto del menù. Locale con molti coperti ma il servizio è abituato a fare i numeri avendo uno staff molto numeroso. Bravi. Prezzi molto onesti
