26/08/2026: An excellent experience at Le Terrazze di Properzio: breathtaking views, impeccable cleanliness, and excellent service. We had lunch today at this magnificent and meticulously maintained restaurant, recommended by some friends who frequently visit Assisi. A recommendation was spot-on! The location is simply fantastic. I highly recommend booking in advance. Thanks to our reservation, we had lunch on the beautiful terrace, enjoying a truly spectacular view that alone is worth the visit. The restaurant's strengths: Food: We ate wonderfully, with carefully prepared dishes and top-quality ingredients. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Service: Excellent. The wait staff is professional, extremely friendly, and always smiling, making you feel welcomed and pampered. Cleanliness and Care: The restaurant is extremely clean and meticulously cared for, which truly makes a difference and makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and welcoming. Location: Splendid setting and an unforgettable panoramic view of Assisi. We were truly thrilled with our day. It's an experience I absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Assisi, and it will definitely become a regular stop for us. We'll definitely be back!

12/08/2026: Excellent restaurant near Santa Chiara. Excellent food, fast, courteous, and professional service from all the staff. The price is fair considering the quality of the food. The desserts are also excellent! Highly recommended!

26/04/2026: After our pilgrimage in Assisi, we went here for lunch. The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming us warmly and helpfully (almost like volunteers, with all the heart they put into it!). The torta al testo was simply delicious, fragrant, and rich in flavor. We also tried the San Francesco (or local) craft beer: truly strong and full of character, perfect for those who love bold flavors. A place I highly recommend to all pilgrims! Thank you so much, Alessandro and Luisa, you were special.

24/04/2026: During a trip to Assisi with the Diocese of Rome, I went here to get an exceptional—I can now say—sandwich with wild boar ham and olive oil. Simple, good, exactly what I was looking for. A little pricey, perhaps, but there aren't even any supermarkets here in Assisi, so it's not surprising. My friends were able to wait outside without getting impatient; in fact, in no time, my sandwich was ready to be enjoyed. Excellent, highly recommended!!!

19/08/2026: I was here with my parents, who had known this restaurant for many years, as well as the owner. It was a wonderful experience, from the hospitality and kindness of the family to the attention to detail in the dishes, all truly delicious! We ordered the sublime cappellacci with honey and pecorino, the delicious strozzapreti with cherry tomatoes and salted ricotta, and the unmissable sausages with caramelized onion! A special mention for the tender and perfectly grilled veal fillet with delicious potatoes. They also gave us the option of ordering an off-menu item. What can I say? Thank you so much, and we will definitely be back! You made this stay a real treat! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

19/08/2026: I'm listening to the requests from the people at my table next to me, which are quite annoying and unnecessary. Despite everything, the staff is responding extremely courteously to every request. I return to Assisi every year and will continue to eat at this restaurant.

25/08/2026: A truly fantastic experience. The staff were kind, helpful, and smiling, and the owner was truly welcoming and outgoing. They cater to their guests' needs down to the smallest detail. The restaurant is in a unique location, underground, with a stairway entrance. The place is quiet, and the tables are well-spaced. The restaurant is very old and traditional, with vaulted ceilings and stone walls that create a charming atmosphere. The dishes were served quickly, delicious, and homemade. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the pasta was fresh. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

23/08/2026: This is our fourth time in Assisi since 2020. Dinner at I monaci is a must. We returned last night. The menu features some new additions, quality ingredients, and tasty, beautifully presented dishes. The owner, who runs the dining room, is a kind host: kind, sociable, and never overbearing. The bill was reasonable for the quality and the fast, attentive service. Recommended.

24/07/2026: I'm a person who adapts, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The appetizer was so transparent that we ordered two. The meat was acceptable, but the grilled vegetables were actually raw and boiled vegetables. The service was a bit sloppy and poorly organized, leaving us feeling a bit abandoned. I read in some reviews that they charged 5 euros for the service, but that's not true. We paid 2 euros each.

14/03/2026: We only visited the restaurant as passing tourists, two couples, and ordered the tourist menu. The price was excellent, and the food was very tasty and well-portioned. The kitchen was spotless, and the restrooms were well-maintained. The young people at the tables were extremely courteous, extremely polite, and attentive. The owner's daughter, who is also a talented chef, was friendly and empathetic at the counter. Perfectly family-run, highly recommended. Reservations are recommended due to the large number of guests.
